Review 1: ★★★★★

Reviewed in the United States:

“Was skeptical about these wireless earbuds when I ordered them but since arrival I have been incredibly pleased. These seamlessly linked to my iPhone and with the JBL app controlling the features is a snap. They have great battery life (I have only run them down once in a month of use. I typically charge them at night. Also they are durable. I actually dropped one in my coffee one morning and was able to retrieve it and dry it out with no sound degradation. That was impressive because usually that kills a earbud.”

Review 2: ★★★★☆

Reviewed in the United States:

“Good, inexpensive wireless headphones if you want to experience ambient noise and active noise cancellation. I bought it for $50 and the truth is that they are very good, however, I expected more from the sound quality. By default, the sound gives a lot of contrast to the bass but not other details of what you hear.”

Review 3: ★★★☆☆

Reviewed in Canada:

“These are great when they're working but ever since I bought them for my husband, we've had issues with them. Right now, the issue is with the charger. One of the earbuds won't charge. We've tried cleaning it, using different cords, but it's the charger itself. If these were cheap maybe I'd understand but they're pricey and not very old. Frustrating. Would buy different brand if I could do it again.”

Review 4: ★★☆☆☆

Reviewed in the United States:

“For the money, these don't sound that great. I had a cheaper set that cost about $40 that were as good if not better. Also, I haven't even had these a year and already I'm having problems with them. The left ear bud doesn't charge in the case anymore for some reason, which is why I gave it a low rating on battery life. It doesn't seem to connect properly to the charger contacts. And because of the way it's designed, there's nothing I can really do about it. So I guess it's time to buy more wireless earbuds and they certainly won't be JBL.”

Review 5: ★★★★☆

Reviewed in Mexico:

“The 1st set that I got was faulty, the left earbud just stopped working altogether. But I like the sound quality, the ease-of-use and the functionality was good , good battery life so I ordered another pair and sent original pair back. I’ve had no problems with the second pair. They’re great wireless earbuds especially for the money they’re not very loud but that’s OK it will save my hearing in the future. They stay in ear pretty good through many ranges of movement. Noise cancellation is pretty good 4 out of 5 stars. I chose these over air pods and I’m not disappointed in the slightest.”

Review 6: ★★★☆☆

Reviewed in the United States:

“I have several JBL product and I love the brand, but not this particular item.

I pair this with my iPhone, first thing I noticed is the audio lag, it’s understandable this is not an AirPods (which has zero audio lag) so it’s acceptable.

But the annoying thing is poor connection, so many times there’s only right side earbud would connect, the left side is off and I have to put both of them back into the case then take them out several time before both wireless earbuds can connect to the phone.

Other things to consider:

Sound quality: Supposedly my Airpod’s sound quality is 10 point, this jbl is 7/10

Battery life: Great, as advertised.”

Review 7: ★★★★☆

Reviewed in the United States:

“I bought these wireless earbuds during the 50% of Christmas sale which honestly a fair price compare to the usual $100 price tag. The battery is solid so far. I've fallen asleep listening to music and it's still playing the following day with battery to spare. The quality for music is good. You can hear the lyrics and beats clearly. The call volume is absolutely awful. They can hear me fine but I can't hear what the other person is saying at all. That's a critical pitfall for a hands free experience.”

Review 8: ★★★☆☆

Reviewed in the United Kingdom:

“Very good sound and everything, but it has some faults, such as, when you open the wireless earbuds, sometimes only one side of the speaker works, or vice versa, when you want to deactivate it by entering it back into the box, it's still active.”

Review 9: ★★★★★

Reviewed in the United States:

“Being JBL I knew what to expect from this brand. Having used other air pod like earphones, I needed something affordable. These are outstanding wireless earbuds that deliver in every category. You get more than you pay for and that’s always a win for me.”

Review 10: ★☆☆☆☆

Reviewed in the United States:

“I got these in today, and only the right earbud works. The left is completely dead. It never worked at all. The case and wireless earbuds react when I put the right earbud in or pull it out (lights come on, and music plays). But no reaction on either the case or the earbud for the left one and of course no music. I have an email in to JBL product support. If I can get this resolved, I will update this review.

OK. No luck from JBL support, they me back to Amazon. Unfortunately, living in Panama it was going to cost over $100 to get the package back to the US to use the prepaid label. I did eventually find a place that could do it for $25, so I sent it.”

According to the reviews from users of these wireless earbuds, we can know that the comprehensive performance of these earbuds are attractive, but there are some problems: poor quality as well as unreasonable after-sales service. Therefore, these wireless earbuds are not recommended for purchase.

Additionally, if you need a headphone suitable for daily life, we recommend bone conduction headphones at the same price range instead of the JBL Tune 230NC wireless earbuds, WIissonly Hi Runner is a good recommendation!

Recommended Reason:

Wissonly is one of the few bone conduction headphone brands that have mastered bone conduction vibrator technology, and one of the few brands in the industry that have sustained experience in using bone conduction technology to protect hearing.

Wissonly Hi Runner advocate a healthy way to listen. They perfectly combine the principles of healthy hearing and bone conduction sound transmission, to create a non-in-ear and non-ear-damaging bone conduction headphone which can effectively protect hearing.

r/HeyNewGadget - Wireless Earbuds Review: JBL Tune 230NC

Due to the particularity of the technical principle, sound quality of bone conduction headphones is more difficult to be improved. To this end, WIissonly Hi Runner subverts the traditional sound quality scheme, makes a breakthrough to use the large-size bone conduction vibrator.

Through structural optimization, the effective vibration area of the vibrator is increased by 35%, thereby improving the vibrator sound efficiency, making the sound more powerful. It also optimizing the direction of sound transmission, reducing sound loss during sound transmission, and making the sound more concentrated.

The soft and skin-friendly silicone material of the Wissonly Hi Runner body is a product that can be in contact with the skin for a long time. It is naturally a better choice and feels good to the touch.

Because the entire headphone is made of skin-friendly material, it is very comfortable to wear. Even if you wear glasses, you can still hang it firmly on your ears. The headphone frame uses memory titanium, which has the advantage of being stretchable and lightweight.
