Review 1: ★★★★★

Reviewed in Mexico:

“Bought some for my son, so I had not heard them myself. Bought another pair to use running on the treadmill at home etc and OMG, the sound is excellent, especially considering the price. Also, I can listen to music at MY volume, which, on room speakers, is way too loud for my spouse.”

Review 2: ★★★★☆

Reviewed in United States:

“I wanted a cheap headset to use at my office or when I go to gym for running. I had a very expensive pair and lost them, so I just wanted something cheap that wouldn't hurt as much if I lose them again. These are really good. They are lightweight and don't hurt my head after hours of use. They don't have noise canceling technology but because of the design, they do a good job keeping outside noise, well outside. In terms of the sound quality, they are good. Of course, they will not compare with more expensive headphones, but are the best within this price range. A good balance between highs and lows and good crisp sound. And the battery life is amazing!!! If you want good and reasonable price headphones for running, this is for you.”

Review 3: ★★★☆☆

Reviewed in Canada:

“Luckily I have this connected to one device still when I am running, but since I can no longer use the volume up or down buttons, it's useless for anything else. Odd how they did it just after the return window closed. Other than that, the sound quality is excellent, and they're comfortable while using them for running.”

Review 4: ★★☆☆☆

Reviewed in Japan:

“Although they smashed your ears and were a bit uncomfortable while running in the gym, they were decent up until they suddenly stopped connecting. I purchased them towards the end of January, it’s July and they’ve stopped working properly! No one at JBL was able to help me troubleshoot the issue which made it even worse. Now I have to purchase new headphones for my running.”

Review 5: ★★★★☆

Reviewed in United States:

“These headphones are quite nice for the price. I don’t know if this was just my headphones, but the sound isn’t equal on both sides. The left side is 10x louder than the right. I can tell when I’m listening to music for running that it’s basically only coming in from the left side. I saw that you can download the JBL app and fix that problem, but the app doesn’t support this headphone version so you are kind of screwed. If this is something that wouldn’t bother you then these headphones would be great for running.”

Review 6: ★★★☆☆

Reviewed in United States:

“I use this when my Airpods aren't charged. Like with most headphones for running, my ears hurt after wearing this for more than 5 hours, but I enjoy that it folds down to fit into my backpack. I recommend if you are on a budget but want an affordable pair of headphones for running.”

Review 7: ★★★★☆

Reviewed in Mexico:

“These headphones are good. However, the ear padding constantly falls off. It’s not easy to get back on either. We purchased three of these headphones (purchased Nov 2022) and all of them have the same issue with the ear padding while using them for running. Very annoying. We got 8 months of use out of two of them before they didn’t have sound anymore even though they worked before and were still showing as connected. All in all - we got 8 months out of them but searching for something better made for running to last longer without the ear padding falling off. Note - we used these daily.”

Review 8: ★★★☆☆

Reviewed in Canada:

“I bought the same pair of headphones for running from Walmart several years ago and they got stolen from me. I decided to order from Amazon, my left ear pad fell off within 2 weeks. Very disappointed! Should have known. I paid almost 125$ at Walmart, but paid much less from Amazon.”

Review 9: ★★★★★

Reviewed in Singapore:

“I picked these up not only because they were on sale, are JBL (which I've had great experience with); but mainly because my earbuds (although they are great) kept falling out during heavy push/pull reps. These did not disappoint. I would recommend them to anyone trying out a pair of Bluetooth earphones for running that are comfortable.”

Review 10: ★☆☆☆☆

Reviewed in Canada:

“These headphones cost $45 and didn't even last 6 weeks. They were dropped into the floor from desk height and it physically broke the power button. They could no longer be turned off when I am running, and once the power was depleted, could no loner be turned back on. DO NOT BUY!”

According to the positive and critical reviews from users of this headset, we can see that its overall performance is good, but there are some areas that need to be improved. For example, its quality is not perfect, as well as the padding of the headset is uncomfortable to wear, especially when running. Plus, for runners, we would recommend using running-specific bone conduction headphones with open-ear design for a more hygienic ear canal, and Wissonly Hi Runner is an attractive option!

Reasons for Recommendation:

Unlike earlier iterations of bone conduction headphones, the Wissonly Hi Runner skips the in-ear buds design without sacrificing sound quality and clarity. Thanks to the engineered bone conduction technology of Wissonly, our recommendation concluded that with these headphones, running safety no longer has to be a trade-off for sound quality.

Wissonly Hi Runner is the wireless and ear-hanging bone conduction headphones, which is equipped with a large internal memory of 32G and can store 5000 songs. The weight of the headset is only 28 grams, you won't feel burdened when you are fitting it for running. Besides, it is made of soft and skin-friendly silicone material on the surface, and the material is very safe and comfortable to fit.

With a strong battery life, you can listen to music for 8 to 10 continuous hours off a single charge. The headphones can also support dual playback in Bluetooth mode and MP3 mode. If your smartphone cannot receive a signal when you are running or you are inconvenient to carry it, you are allow to enjoy music as a MP3 player while running. Plus, its overall frame is made of adjustable aerospace-grade titanium steel material, which is resistant to bending and wear firmly, and it won't fall off easily during running and it also can cooperate well with sunglasses and sun cap used for running.

If you're looking for a more water-resistant, yet no-frills bone conduction pair of headphones, you may want to option for the Wissonly Hi Runner. These open-ear headphones incorporate excellent IPX8 waterproofing, so these are ideal for running or other water activities. You can use it normally in the situation of rain and sweat, but without worrying about the headphones malfunctioning because they are not rainproof.

The open-ear design of these headphones allows you to hear the sounds around you while running, making them safer and more hygienic for you to use. The only drawback is that it's easy to hear the wind noise during running, but safety is the most important factor for runners, so I recommend the Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphones.
