“I love the sound that the headphones provide. It provides also a comfortable cushions for your ear. I used these to ride my bike, just riding my skateboard, and walking around and they provide good crisp sound. I would definitely recommend for anyone. For stating there is no noise canceling it’s very impressive. Someone would have to tap my shoulder to get my attention because I wouldn’t be able to hear them.”

“I wanted fancy beats but I knew deep in ny heart there had to be a pair cheaper yet great quality...and these are it ! I felt very intense sounds as I felt the vibration and connected to the sound itself.

The noise cancelation is on point. It blocks out background noise

The fit is perfect. You can extend it and fold. Quite flexible.

The color is pretty solid with its logo on the side of it.

My only bad comment is to not wear these for long periods of time... it can hurt your ears. Take a break. It's that intense that I can't go 2 hours straight or even an hour to say long without a migraine.

It's that good ! Especially for the price. No. END to buy those crazy priced brands.

Quality is quality at a great price.”

“The sound is good, though the fit is poor. Beats solos fit me perfectly, but when I broke them I picked these up. They barely extend over my ears and it’s not comfortable. My son inherited them so he’s happy. They’re great for those who haven’t been graced with big heads and don’t rely on apple products. They work with apple but aren’t as easy as beats. I guess after alls said, I should have bought beats. The pair I had lasted 7 years, 5 with a child who wouldn’t stop playing with them (until they broke).”

“I really like these headphones. The sound quality is fabulous, they are comfortable on the head for extended wear, the battery life is great, and they don’t move around during movement. The things that I’m not a huge fan of are how these look and feel with the plastic body and that these won’t stand up to a lot of wear and tear.

I have used around-the-ear headphones for years and these really do compete with the higher-quality pairs I’ve used. They do a fabulous job of minimizing outside noise without having active noise cancelling. They are very comfortable to wear and mold well around the ears without applying too much pressure and causing headaches. Additionally, they stay exactly where I want them, even when I’m doing a lot of moving around. I’ve worn these while cooking, cleaning, and dancing, all without them sliding around. The battery life is great, better than any other pair that I own. I didn’t time it exactly, but it has lasted me a week of moderate use without needing to be charged since the initial unboxing. They are easy to pair with my phone, pair automatically within seconds of being turned on, and I can walk around the house without my phone without any disconnects.

My only real complaints are about the materials. These are almost entirely plastic, and they feel like it. The plastic itself feels fine, not too thin and hollow. However, it doesn’t feel like really high-quality plastic either. I am pretty rough on my headphones which is why I’ve had so many of them. This pair doesn’t have the feel of something that will last long with my use. The weakest point seems to be the swivel above the cups. I suspect that this piece will break eventually. There is no way to lock them in place and stop them from swiveling, so when they aren’t being worn, the cups sort of flop around and I dislike how much pressure is being put on the weak point of the headphones.

Overall, I would recommend these headphones to anyone looking for high-quality sound, minimal outside noise distractions, and comfort. While the build materials aren’t my favorite, these don’t feel cheap. They have been working flawlessly for my uses so far, and I will update my review if they do eventually begin to break down.”

“These are great when I want to watch my Netflix series while my kids are using the television. The fit is a bit strange, the length of the top of my head to my ear is 8”. The top extender band is also 4” long so wider than my other headphones. These headphones max out at 7”, which means the top part presses on my head. Ymmv, the sound quality and noise cancellation are excellent.”

“The quality of these headphones is superior to any comparable headphones I have purchased. I've spent hundreds of dollars and am so happy with these I'd like to save people time and money and let them know the sound quality and noise reduction is fantastic. You won't be disappointed.”

“My trusty old Hesh 3's finally broke after 2 long years of everyday use, and I bought these as a replacement. The sound quality is just as good as the Hesh 3 if not better, very crisp with strong bass, same Skullcandy good quality as usual. The build quality seems firmer than the Hesh 3's - the ear sections also can swivel 180 degrees instead of just 90, which is good for adjustability. The batteries last much longer. The controls are a little more complex, but I won't complain about more features. They're great in all aspects but one: the earpads. My old Hesh 3's had thick, soft pads made of a very plush material. The Hesh Evo's pads are slightly thinner, made of a firmer material, and have less of a soft feel to the leatherette covering. The end result is that wearing a set of Hesh Evo's, your ears start to ache after a while, whereas with the Hesh 3's, I could last all day with hardly any discomfort. WHY the downgrade, Skullcandy? I ended up switching out the pads on this set for those on my old ones, and it's a major improvement - I highly recommend doing that if you've got an old set of Hesh 3's lying around.”

“Build quality is OK despite the fact I’m not seeing any metal parts. They hug my head well and have a surprisingly low profile considering that they’re kind of big. The matte black doesn’t smudge too easily which is good. they have some noise canceling going on but don’t cancel out fully ambient noise. The 4 buttons are easy to use and they’re easy to pair. Sound clarity is good and the sound has high definition and is very dimensional. Overall I think these are good for the price and the quality.”

“made the purchase on the 27th, it said it was gonna come on the 7th of march but it actually came on the 2nd

i bought it used for like 60-70 bucks, so this may be the reason, but the box it came in was super beat up. there was a hole in it like someone had slapped it against the corner of something. thankfully the product was not damaged at all.

awesome sound quality, im upgrading to this from a pair of hesh 2's and the sound on the evo's is comparably way better. i do however think that the hesh 2's seem more durable.

the earcups are kinda small, but not too small that they make my ears sore. if you have big ears it might not be very comfortable though

i really do like the product so far, despite all my nitpicking lol.”

“I always liked the Skullcandy wired earbuds when I was younger and I really wanted to get a pair of bigger headphones to wear while cleaning my house. I listened to these in a Best Buy and they sounded great but they didn’t have this color in stores which is why I ordered them from Amazon. I was excited to get them because they sounded great in the store but wow was I disappointed.

First of all, these headphones have small ear pads and the padding for the top of your head doesn’t do much. I have a really small head and both of those things together make the headphones slightly uncomfortable even for me, but it wasn’t too bad to the point where I couldn’t wear them. The real disappointment comes from the sound quality. I’ve used these headphones twice now and I’ve only listened to my music with the volume set to 70%. That’s no where near high enough to make the headphones sound like the speakers are blown already. And they sounded this way when I used them for the second time, so for the sound quality to decrease so significantly after the FIRST use is crazy. It’s so bad that I can’t even use them. And unfortunately I got these for Christmas so now I can’t return them. Very upset with this purchase. I haven’t even used them enough to get a feel for the battery life which is why I gave that rating 5 stars. I do not recommend these.”

Most of the user reviews in this article come from Amazon and Best Buy platform, which has certain reference value. The Skullcandy hesh evo over-ear wireless headphones performed well, with a total score of 4.6 out of 5, indicating that it is an good headphone. The noise cancelling function and sound quality performance are excellent, which makes many users full of praise. It is really a essential headphone for commuting, studying, traveling and so on.However, its thick earmuffs may not be suitable for sports, because it is easy to make your head and ears feel stuffy and uncomfortable, and it is easy to fall of.And its waterproof performance is poor, which means that it can't resist sweating well when you sweat during exercise.Sports has become an indispensable part of many people's daily life. Therefore, if you also like sports, it is necessary to choose a pair of sports headphones that are comfortable and stable to wear and have good waterproof performance as the second pair of essential headphones, such as Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphone.

r/HeyNewGadget - Skullcandy hesh evo review:How about their noise cancelling function and sound quality?

Hi Runner is a bone conduction headphone. The advantage of this type of headphone is that the ears are free and you can hear the surrounding noise. Safe, light, comfortable, sound quality, easy to use ... It is really an ideal Bluetooth headphone for running.

Wissonly is the fastest-growing brand in the past six months. Their team is a technical expert in the field of bone conduction headphones. As early as 10 years ago, it began to develop bone conduction headphones that do not hurt the ears. With the excellent bone conduction vibration unit optimization scheme, it has been recommended by many ear doctors and has been recommended by many YouTuber.

Wissonly is a wireless bone conduction headphone with Bluetooth and MP3 modes. You can use the Bluetooth mode when you are in a place with a Bluetooth signal, and you can use the MP3 mode in places where it is not convenient to carry a mobile phone such as underwater sports. They are also very powerful in MP3 mode. They have 32G built-in memory and can store 5000 songs. Their battery life is strong, and they can listen to music for 10 hours, which makes up for the disadvantages of wireless headphones.

When you sweat a lot when running or doing other sports, or when it suddenly rains when you run or exercise outdoors, then the waterproof performance of sports headphones is very important. As the flagship model of Wissonly, the waterproof grade of Wissonly Hi Runner Sports Bone Conductivity Headphone reaches IPX8 waterproof grade higher than the industry standard. It allows the wearer to work normally when swimming or diving, not to mention sweat prevention or ordinary waterproof.

In terms of fit and comfort, the overall frame of the Wissonly Hi Runner is made of adjustable aviation-grade titanium steel, which can adapt to different sizes of head circumference and ensure the Fit and comfort of wearing. The surface of their headphones is made of high-tech hypoallergenic silicone material, which does not contain chemical ingredients to avoid allergies. The overall touch of the headphones is as silky as a baby's skin, which avoids uncomfortable situations when worn for a long time. And they are very light, less than 30g, and they will not feel heavy when worn.

r/HeyNewGadget - Skullcandy hesh evo review:How about their noise cancelling function and sound quality?

Due to the special technical principle of bone conduction headphones, it is more difficult to improve the sound quality. The Wissonly Hi Runner subverts the traditional sound quality solution and uses a large wire-frame vibration unit as a breakthrough. Through structural optimization, the effective vibration area is increased, so that the sound has a good performance in both treble and bass.
