“I have used mini brands of over the ear headphones in my day. From Sony to Bose, I have spent thousands trying to find a pair of headphones that suit my needs and have the balance and sound quality that I desire. I have to admit that I do not give out five star reviews very often but when I do they are well deserved.
Upon arrival I noticed that the packaging was very well done and there wasn’t a ton of waste as with other products that utilize super thick cardboard in multiple boxes inside of other boxes. As soon as I was able to connect the Bluetooth to my mobile device, which was very easily done without reading the instructions by the way, I put these on for the first time. Although not noise canceling per se, they do a very good job of isolating the outside world noise around you. I switched my equalizer settings to flat to see the profile these come with out of the box and I was pleasantly surprised at the balance that wireless headphones were able to achieve. I put the equalizer back to my normal “rock settings“ and proceeded to listen to some of my favorite tunes. I was blown away at the quality these are able to produce. You may not believe it, but these sound better than my Sony and my Bose over the ear headphones, hands down without a doubt. Are use these at work as well as at home. At work, the sound of machinery can be overwhelming and give me headaches but while wearing these I cannot hear the machinery and I don’t have to blast my eardrums out of my head in order to drowned out the noise from the machines. The sound quality from these are crisp and clear with low base perfect meds and high highs. I don’t want to use the word perfect but there is barely any other way to describe these headphones. I am very glad I was able to get these and I plan on taking very good care of them so I can achieve years of use out of them”

“The market for quality wireless noise cancelling headphones has expanded massively in the last year, and competition has become fierce. Even though there are now many great choices out there, I would add the Skullcandy Hesh Evo wireless headphones to the list of contenders. They are a great choice for your average person that wants nice wireless headphones, but doesn’t want to spend more than about $100.

To be clear, I am rating these headphones based on how they perform and feel at this price point. Are there better feeling and sounding headphones out there? Yes of course, I have other headphones that cost much more, but I can not fairly compare them to ones that cost triple the price. These headphones are in the mid-range of the product line, and they sound excellent for that tier. I am very fond of mid-range headphones because I tend to be protective of my flagship headphones, and like to have something less expensive on hand for situations where I am worried about them getting lost or damaged. The folding design makes it very convenient to take them on the go.

These headphones have very good call and sound quality. The 40 mm drivers do a great job of producing detailed, full range sound, They are also very comfortable to wear, and feature an attractive deep and rich black hue. If you don’t need active noise cancellation, they are a good choice because the over the ear design naturally creates some noise cancellation passively.

The battery life is great and after using them for a few days, I would agree that the rated 36 hour battery life is accurate. They have a USB-C port for charging, and a 10 minute charge will power the headphones for about 3 hours. Like I said earlier, competition is fierce and this type of battery capability would have been off the charts a couple of years ago, but now is just par for the course.

Some other things I like is that they have actual control buttons and that there is an audio output for using them with non-wireless capable devices.

Included in the box is a soft travel pouch, a standard audio cable, and a USB-C charging cable.”

“They look cool and sound fine and the fact that they have tile integration is neat, but the firmware issues make them very annoying to use.

Occasionally at any battery level they will refuse to turn on until plugged in, meaning the power button just does not work until it gets 10 seconds of charge. Also they will randomly disconnect from Bluetooth and refuse to reconnect until reboot. I primarily wear these while on walks away from home so the combination of these two bugs means that I occasionally end up with dead headphones halfway through a walk regardless of whether I charged them beforehand.

I would expect these kinds of issues from a lower cost tier set of headphones, but it's really surprising for Skullcandy and this price point. At this point they are only 10 months old and I'm already thinking of replacing them.”

“wireless/bluetooth headphones is I will start by saying since I discovered SkullCandy years ago I have been a huge fan I think they have always sold a great product at a resonable price now to say these are a little pricey I will also say these look and feel like the quality you would expect to get for the price point and being familar with the brand I could def say that these would be worth it. I think the packaging is exactly what you would find when it comes to headphones that I have purchased from them in recent years this is my first time doing a bluetooth version from them but I have always brought their wired in ear headphones when it came to me or anyone in my household. When it comes to everything it comes with I like that they provide a little bag with this but for me something as nice as this I need a case but that is a personal preference everything else is standard the charging cord and instructions. The look of these thou is very sleek and high end looking I would almost compare this to buying a drugstore makeup that had impressive packaging that made it look high end if that makes sense. In ref to usage they came 80% charged according to my phone but that is not bad and the charging rate that it shows to me is impressive. It was super easy to connect to my phone or tablet I was able to do so with a tap of a button on my phone I didnt even have to press the pair button on the headphones and there is a voice that indicates when its connected which is helpful and nice. They are extremely comfortable to wear even with earrings on. Sound is also amazing it completely blocks out background noise to the fullest I dont hear anything going on around me when I have these on. Overall these are everything I could expect from this brand and company. These are def something I am going to be continuing to enjoy now and for years to come and I look forward to that in the same.”

“The Skullcandy Hesh Evo Over-the-Ear-Wireless-Noise Cancelling headphones feel a little heavy after 45 minutes of use. I found that I kept having to remove them from the ears. The sound is clear and does not distort at louder settings. The battery life in question, the paperwork states up to 36 hours of battery life in one place and 22 hours of battery life in another. The headphones support rapid charge technology. The headphones also collapse for storage. Also included is a sleek travel bag. I would recommend this to family and friends.”

“Lets start with audio quality – These sound GOOD. They are not AirPods Pro but I found them comparable to other competing offerings in the sub-$150 true wireless category. Great sound that was clear and distortion free, but not the bass depth that some will be looking for, despite their affordable price. I found the replication of sound much closer to true but not punchy. The lack of Active Noise Cancellation was a disappointment, but expected in this price range. The audio quality was so good that I almost expected it as these seem to be swinging for the higher end of the market.
The design is great, The charging charges with USB-Type-C so we’re finally in 2020 here with form factor.
One of the other unsung heroes of this design is Skullcandy including TILE support built-in – You can activate your headphones withn TILE device in the Tile app – Always easy to find – In my opinion EVERY TW headphones set should include this or something like it!!
I had no problem wearing them comfortably for an hour or so in my tests. The cushion fit perfectly around my ears and were comfortable enough to wear for most of the day making phone calls and listening to music etc.
Battery life was pretty amazing. I left them unplugged overnight for a couple days and when I went to turn them on it turned on and still lasted me the entire day.
These are a great offering overall – 2 years of manufacturer limited warranty out-of-the-box – No need to buy extended warranties here! Built in locator support with TILE, 36 hour battery, rapid charging, comfortable your cushions and great sound quality.
The Hesh Evo headphones were not expected to be this feature packed for the price – I wasn’t expecting the sound quality or the features and warranty coverage offered by Skullcandy in their latest “true wireless” offering. Overall 10 out of 10 especially for the price!”

“The wireless Hesh Evo Headphones are a new addition to Skullcandy lineup that keeps impressing.
Design/ Build quality:
Skullcandy have been a specific design style that is recognizable across their line up. Its simple yet elegant and these headphones are no different. They are in matte black with good quality build that is made of light weight material but built sturdily. I have been using Skullcandy products for over 3 years and they are still all in working order.
Pairing/ connection:
These headphones can be connected with either Bluetooth or using the provided dual male stereo jack cable. Pairing via Bluetooth took literally 10 seconds. I was able to pair it to my Android and Apple phones, and to my Bluetooth enabled tv for an immersive sound experience that doesn’t disturb others in the night hours.
Sound quality/ volume:
Sound quality is good enough for this price range. The bass and treble are good and the volume is high enough for me and my preference.
Call quality is very good. No issues here whatsoever.
Comfort:
these are very comfortable to wear. They are built ergonomically in a way that causes no pressure points anywhere on my head. This is one of the most important factors in choosing a headphone and it is as important as the sound quality.
These headphones are extremely comfortable and I forgot I was wearing them. They are perfect and take little space when not in use, you can fold and stack them in the black bag that came in the box.
They also fit snuggly on my head, and they cover my ears well. Skullcandy claims they have noise isolating fit, not noise cancelling and I found that to be true.
Battery life: I got 30+ hours per charge when using on mid volume and Bluetooth. Charging is via a USB type C which is great as I don’t need to have many different cables to charge it. What charges my phone works with these headphones as well.
Controls placement/ ease of use: Controls are easy with soft press buttons for power, volume up/ down and pairing, and answering calls.
Extra features: they come with tile built in so you can locate them if you misplaced them using the paired device.
Final thoughts: Skullcandy continues to impress me. I have been using their products for years and I am not disappointed.”

“The Skullcandy Hesh Evo wireless noise cancelling headphones are a pretty awesome value for bluetooth headphones that look and sound great. I have used them with a variety of music and apps and have been extremely happy with how they've performed. I was also really excited to find they work as a full headset with microphone even when wired. This gives me the ability to quickly plug them into my work laptop to take a teams video meeting and not have to frantically pair them. My black pair looks very subtle but stylish; you could wear these in a lot of different settings and not look out of place.

For music, gaming, and movies I tried them with both my Note 20 Ultra as well as my wife's iPhone 11 Pro, and my gaming desktop PC. They have a warm, well balanced sound with plenty of bass. For a fairly small pair of over-the-ear headphones they have a surprising amount of sound isolation and stay very comfortable. They also fold up to be very compact so you can toss them in your bag. I think these might be the best headphones I've used for the price.”

“I use these down in my woodshop while sanding or cutting with my saws. They do an excellent job at blocking the tool noise while still being to hear the music at a low volume. The fit is good for my larger ears too. They get slightly warm, but not uncomfortably warm. I have yet to find a pair that isn't warm. Charging time and battery life are out of this world. Great buy.”

“I’m no audiophile, but I’ve tried a lot of different headphones over the past couple years from a variety of price ranges.

I have been using these headphones with my iPhone 12 and Mac mini, mostly to listen to music on Pandora with a premium subscription. The headphones were easy to set up with initially, and now all I have to do is power them on to have them reconnect.

Sound quality-wise these aren’t the best headphones that I own, which was a little disappointing considering the price point. They aren’t bad by any means, just not quite the level I was expecting. I've had no issues with the headphones dropping sound, going out of sync, etc.

The battery life of the headphones is excellent. I can used them for hours on a single charge, so I don’t have to charge them very often. Included with the headphones is a wired audio cable for use if the headphones do run out of power.

The headphones can be made a little more compact by folding them or twisting the ear pads. The headphones also include a storage bag, which makes them more travel friendly.

These headphones are a style that fits over the ears, and they fit me find in that regard. The earpieces and band that go over your head are all padded for comfort. Unfortunately the headphones still get uncomfortable on my ears after wearing them for a while.

Overall these headphones seem to be a decent quality, but I have other headphones that sell for the same price that sound better and are more comfortable. 3.5 stars”

Judging from some user reviews of Skullcandy hesh evo wireless noise cancelling headphones above, it performed well, with a total score of 4.6 out of 5. Many users say that they are satisfied with its noise reduction ability and sound quality, and it can also be used in many scenes in life, such as studying, commuting, traveling and so on. However, Hesh ANC is an Over-Ear design with thick earmuffs, which is not suitable for summer when it is too sultry, nor for sports that are prone to sweating. If you are a person who likes sports, it is necessary to prepare a second pair of waterproof and comfortable essential headphones for sports. If you're thinking about it, you might as well try the Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphone with an open-ear design.

If you want to have a headphone with music during exercise, Hi Runner will be your best choice. It makes sound through the vibration of the bones, and the bones transmit the vibration of the sound source directly to the inner ear, so that the sound can be heard, so you only need to hang the headphones on the ears when wearing them, there is no need to plug them into the ears.

Because Hi Runner is worn by hanging on ears, it is not blocked ears and has good comfort, and it is also especially suitable for daily life, you can easily hear the sound of cars and traffic lights in outdoor running, walking and other sports scenes, which makes you safer when using. It is also especially recommended for those who like to listen to music at work while paying attention to the voices of their bosses and colleagues.

The overall frame of the Wissonly Hi Runner is made of adjustable aviation-grade titanium steel, which can adapt to different sizes of head circumference and ensure stability when wearing, so that you don't have to worry about the headphones falling off when exercising. The surface of the headphone is made of high-tech hypoallergenic silicone material, which does not contain chemical components to avoid allergies, and the overall touch of the earphone is as silky as baby's skin, avoiding uncomfortable feelings caused by long-term wear. It is very lightweight, less than 30g, so it will not feel heavy when worn. You can hang it around your neck when you're not using it, you don't have to worry about the headphones falling to the ground and damaging or losing them.

6.png

If you're worried about sweating too much while exercising or suddenly raining and breaking your headphones while using them outdoors, then the Wissonly Hi Runner  can remove your concerns. It has an IPX8 waterproof rating higher than the industry standard, which allows it to work normally when swimming and diving, so you don't have to worry about its waterproof and sweat proof ability, which is a big advantage of it.

The Wissonly Hi Runner uses the latest Bluetooth 5.0 chip, which makes the Bluetooth connection more stable and less prone to choppy sound. It is also equipped with 32G body memory, which can store 5000 songs, and supports Bluetooth and MP3 working modes. When exercising underwater or in scenarios without a mobile phone, you can use it as a Bluetooth MP3 player. Its battery life is also very strong, it can listen to songs for 10 hours continuously, and it supports magnetic fast charging, which makes up for the disadvantages of wireless headphones.

Due to the particularity of the technical principle, bone conduction headphones are more difficult to improve sound quality, while Wissonly Hi Runner subverts the traditional sound quality scheme by using a large wireframe vibration unit, improving the effective vibration area through structural optimization, so that the sound has a good performance in both treble and bass.

Most important of all, its performances are so excellent and you can buy it for only $99.99, it's really very cost-effective, which is one of the reasons why I recommend it.
