“These are solid headphones, especially for the price range.

The Good:

- Comfortable

- Insane bass. I keep mine at about 1/5 of the max bass level and it's plenty for me most days

- Fast charging, long battery life

- Easy connection/use. Buttons on the headphones allow you to change songs, volume, and pause

- Phone calls are easy to take and have good sound

The Not so Good:

- The noise cancelling is not great. I can still hear conversations/TV in the background if my music is not loud

- There is unpleasant stuttering/feedback when unpausing music

If you're looking for pretty good headphones at a pretty good price, I would recommend these. Especially if bass is very important. If your goal is noise cancelling and beautiful, seamless sound, I would recommend looking elsewhere.”

“The most impressive and magical listening experience ever. The personalized sound test they modulates and delivers sound based on how you uniquely hear is transformational. I’ve never heard my favorite songs in so much detail and clarity, I e gotten shivers and goosebumps to songs I knew by heart and it was like hearing them for the first time. The bass effects with the haptic feedback make it sound like a live concert in your head, which is amazing. The ability to switch between music and podcast and movie equalizers is also fantastic and truly noticeable. They are great at noise cancellation, I live in a busy area and when I put them on I can focus without any distractions and they are crystal clear for work.”

“You have your own dedicated subwoofer. And you know the importance of of a subwoofer in a sound system It makes the biggest difference!

Now you can ramped the subwoofer without hesitation, without consideration to your family or your whole community or other cars besides you, because now your the only one experiencing it. For $199 you got yourself a home theater system or a club sound system. Do not the worry the mids and high are still there. I’m listening to wedding guitar classics now and I’m telling you the subwoofer part just adds dimension. No ANC it means no dizziness and nausea. Headache might still be there if you over do the bass slider. But the bass slider is just fun. It does not muddy other sounds. The equalizer are music, movie, or podcast. And the best is movie even for music. Good God I return the Sony xm4, bose QC2 and gave my beats studio3 to my son. So I have the status BT one for like audiophile listening also my fav. I bought the crusher evo together with the old Skullcandy Grind wireless and is another fav. The grind is comparable to have a studio bookshelf speaker with out sub. The bass still there and still loud but not like the evo. I like the grind because it sound like it’s open back although not and with out the leak . It’s on ear and it is very light and convenient. This Evo I dare to say is way better than Sony xm4 and bose QC2.

I don’t think this is just for bass heads . Probably the old versions- wireless and the ANC, but not this one. The bass slider just complete the system. You know those purist who did not experience subwoofers and when they have it they are just amaze with what they were hearing and what they were missing. It’s comparable to this. Just buy it.”

“I needed a replacement for my old Skullcandy Hesh 2 headphones and thought these would be an upgrade. I also thought I would like the adjustable bass boosting feature since I tend to turn on bass boosters when the option is available. These are my thoughts after using them daily for a little over a month:

Pros:

- These connect more consistently to my laptop with Bluetooth than my Hesh 2 headphones, and they have less audio lag.

- Long battery life. I generally use these 3-6 hours per day and only have to charge them once a week at most.

Cons:

- I didn't find these headphones comfortable. They don't fit over my ears as well as my previous headphones, but the bigger issue was my hair constantly getting stuck in the rotating ear pieces or getting pulled on by the rubber padding on top.

- I don't know the proper terminology, but the sound seems really shallow to me, as if the sound is coming from farther away.

- The bass booster really does make the headphones shake, even on the lowest settings. I found this really distracting, and I ended up turning off the bass booster because of the constant vibration.

- I felt like the higher pitches really stood out even with the bass booster on.

These are functional headphones, but I ended up ordering a new pair of Hesh 2 headphones as those work better for me.”

“I’ve been using these headphones for a bit over 3 months now and I have to say that I’m really liking them. The bass feel amazing and the music doesn’t get distorted even at high bass setting. Ive been using it for the gym and it’s been working perfectly with my routine. They fit well on my head and don’t get uncomfortable often. I will say that I do wish they were louder and had some noise cancellation to them. There are times where the audio does feel a bit low even if I have it maxed out but that is not a deal breaker for me. The menu and option buttons are easy to navigate but the mic is not the best Ive had on a headphone. Overall great headphones. 100% would recommend. Better than my airpods for sure.”

“Unfortunately, while the Skullcandy Crusher Evo Wireless Over-Ear Headphones sound great, they are not comfortable to wear and do not come with Active Noise Cancellation.

What I like:

Great sound with an app that lets you customize the sound to your hearing. This is a great feature, especially for someone who has hearing problems as it will compensate and adjust the sound to give the listener a more normal sounding experience.

There is a 'bass boost' feature that allows one to increase the bass part of the sound spectrum through use of an external slider control. While this is nice, I rarely used this as these headphones already have a robust bass response.

Long battery life - up to 40 hours between charges. Nice!

What I don't like:

There is no noise cancellation feature with this model. This is a shame as it would almost make these headphones just about perfect.

I find these uncomfortable to wear. I've never been accused of having big ears but the ear cups on these headphones are fairly small and seem to squeeze my ears - making them sore after awhile. I find that I am regularly adjusting them so alleviate/reduce the soreness.”

“Damn! If only i could buy it sooner. These headphones are one of the greatest there is for it’s category, and it delivers. I’m a Sony product enthusiast coming there headphones that i admire especially the x950B1’s, but i am loving these bad boys. I did tried the first skullcandy crusher a while ago and i did like but its very generic. But this is a BIG improvement over those and it is amazing. The highs being crisp & mids being clear. But these is just something else, its like being in a mobile car audio competition type BASS. The app is very helpful and the connection is a breeze. No distortion at all plus i dont even use HALF, not even Half of the BASS KNOP! Amazing work Skullcandy.”

“I run into this headset in target. Fall in love with the sound quality. It is way better than Bose QC 45 which I got from Costco and decided to return immediately after 2 hours of trying. Bose sound quality, ANC and the static noise all disappointed me. This one however impressed me at 100 bucks cheaper with the option to adjust bass, personal sound. Even though no ANC, when you turn music on, I can hear almost as much noise from family as Bose QC 45. It is funny that when you adjust up bass, the headset kind of jumps around your ears. Overall very satisfied.”

“Wish I could have gave this product five stars, but due to the fact that the ear pads are not really made of quality material I must give them a four star rating, though I was really leaning towards a three star rating. Sound quality kept me from doing that however. As much as these headphones cost you would expect that the company would put quality first in their products, and yes I do know nothing is perfect. I've had plenty of headphones in my time and even the cheapest ones held up better. On to the brighter side of things, the sound and bass quality of these headphones are simply awesome and though I had to replace the ear pads on them, I still don't regret buying them and would do it all over again if they were to play out. Had them for at least two plus years and counting. Hopefully the replacement ear pads that I purchased from a different company will last longer as I am hearing they have.”

“There are absolutely no reverby sounds or depth which is why I was so excited to get them bc that plus extra bass is so fire but like I said the voices are really flat and overpowered by the bass. I thought I was a bass head bc I listen to a lot of edm but the bass is way too much even on a low setting. If you want the experience of blasting music in a car (not a large room) that favors the rattling bass over vocals then you might like these. I tried out the personalized setting on the skullcandy app too but it made little to no difference. Pretty disappointed, Im going to try audio technica for better luck! Also in terms of design it feels really plastic-y but looks nice. The ear parts swivel horizontally all the way but don’t move up and down much. I’ve got a smaller head and they fit well but I don’t think these are big head friendly :( I hoped for a hard case but it comes with a pouch, so skullcandy probably made some sacrifices lowering the quality of other features to make the bass feature stand out. Big womp I’m returning mine tomorrow”

Most of the user reviews in this article come from Amazon platform, which has certain reference value. The Skullcandy crusher evo wireless headphones performed well, with a total score of 4.8 out of 5, indicating that it is an excellent headphone.Among them, its noise cancelling function and sound quality performance are particularly satisfactory to users. It can be well used in various scenes such as traveling, commuting and studying. However, its thick earmuffs may not be suitable for sports, because it is easy to make your head and ears feel stuffy and uncomfortable, and it is easy to fall of.And its waterproof performance is poor, which means that it can't resist sweating well when you sweat during exercise.Sports has become an indispensable part of many people's daily life. Therefore, if you also like sports, it is necessary to choose a pair of sports headphones that are comfortable and stable to wear and have good waterproof performance as the second pair of essential headphones, such as Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphone.

r/HeyNewGadget - Skullcandy crusher evo wireless headphones review:How about their noise cancelling and sound quality?

Wissonly's team has been researching headphone products that don't hurt the ear as early as 10 years ago and introduced bone conduction technology into the field of headphones. Their products have powerful performance, high-cost performance, and are very strong in core performances such as sound quality, sound leakage reduction, and waterproof level.

Hi Runner sports bone conduction headphones are open-eared and worn directly on the temples, so your ear canal is completely open, which makes it easy for you to hear the sound of cars and traffic lights outdoors in sports scenes such as running and walking, making you safer to use.

In terms of fit and comfort, the whole frame of Wissonly Hi Runner is made of adjustable aviation grade titanium steel, which can adapt to different sizes of head circumference and ensure the stability of wearing. Its earphone surface is made of high-tech low-sensitivity silicone material, which contains no chemical components to avoid allergic phenomena. The overall touch of the earphone is as silky as baby's skin, avoiding uncomfortable situations when worn for a long time. Moreover, its weight is very light, less than 30g, and it will not feel heavy when worn. After wearing it, I took it off at the end of the run. This Hi Runner didn't let me have any extra adjustment. As the flagship model of outdoor sports of Wissonly brand, it is the most comfortable and cost-effective one among all bone conduction at present.

r/HeyNewGadget - Skullcandy crusher evo wireless headphones review:How about their noise cancelling and sound quality?

When you sweat a lot when running or doing other sports, or when it suddenly rains when you run or exercise outdoors, then the waterproof performance of sports headphones is very important. As the flagship model of Wissonly, the waterproof grade of Wissonly Hi Runner Sports Bone Conductivity Headphone reaches IPX8 waterproof grade higher than the industry standard. It allows the wearer to work normally when swimming or diving, not to mention sweat prevention or ordinary waterproof.

It is also equipped with 32G body memory, which can store 5,000 songs, and supports Bluetooth and MP3 working modes. You can use it as a Bluetooth MP3 player for underwater sports or scenes without a mobile phone.

Hi Runner is the flagship product of Wissonly, and its overall function is also the most perfect. In terms of sound quality, this bone conduction earphone uses the latest research results of wissonly laboratory, which increases the vibration area of the vibrator by 35%. At the same time, it also optimizes the sound transmission direction to make the sound more concentrated and the music more spatial, and it has a good performance in both high and low notes.

Wissonly has made a lot of efforts to reduce its sound leakage. Its all-wrapped design reduces the vibration of the shell, and through structural optimization, the sound waves of the sound leakage are cancelled, thus avoiding 90% of the sound leakage. Wissonly Hi Runner's sound leakage performance is much better than that of the same gear bone conduction headphones on the market.
