“I had the Crusher Wireless headphones around 4 to 5 years and while they did their job, I was ready to upgrade. These Evo headphones feel much more powerful. The sound quality on these is noticeably better and the bass on these is insane. I don’t need to have the bass level high at all to feel all the power they exude. The bass is much cleaner and very strong. It make you feel like you’re hearing the music in a club or music event. I recommend checking these out”

“You have your own dedicated subwoofer. And you know the importance of of a subwoofer in a sound system It makes the biggest difference!

Now you can ramped the subwoofer without hesitation, without consideration to your family or your whole community or other cars besides you, because now your the only one experiencing it. For $199 you got yourself a home theater system or a club sound system. Do not the worry the mids and high are still there. I’m listening to wedding guitar classics now and I’m telling you the subwoofer part just adds dimension. No ANC it means no dizziness and nausea. Headache might still be there if you over do the bass slider. But the bass slider is just fun. It does not muddy other sounds. The equalizer are music, movie, or podcast. And the best is movie even for music. Good God I return the Sony xm4, bose QC2 and gave my beats studio3 to my son. So I have the status BT one for like audiophile listening also my fav. I bought the crusher evo together with the old Skullcandy Grind wireless and is another fav. The grind is comparable to have a studio bookshelf speaker with out sub. The bass still there and still loud but not like the evo. I like the grind because it sound like it’s open back although not and with out the leak . It’s on ear and it is very light and convenient. This Evo I dare to say is way better than Sony xm4 and bose QC2.

I don’t think this is just for bass heads . Probably the old versions- wireless and the ANC, but not this one. The bass slider just complete the system. You know those purist who did not experience subwoofers and when they have it they are just amaze with what they were hearing and what they were missing. It’s comparable to this. Just buy it.”

“The sound is clear. The artificial bass feels kinda cool but is kinda an unnecessary gimmick. If you put the bass all the way up it is too much. Well, if you put it up more than a little then it’s too much so yeah it’s kinda unnecessary. The headphones don’t get as loud as others I’ve had do. The headphones do start to hurt my ears after awhile but I can wear them for like an hour before it starts to hurt. The headphones look nice. They also block out a decent amount of sound when they are on, but you can still slightly hear back ground noise at times (when they are on full blast). These are not noise cancelling. One thing I really don’t like is that I get that “airplane feeling” in my ears most of the time when I wear them. So sometimes I place them slightly from around my ear to break the seal, if that make sense. Then then it doesn't do that. But then they hurt your ears faster so….They are just okay headphones. The quality is what I would expect at the price range I bought them for (141$). Still wish I would have got another pair instead but I’m not going to return”

“I purchased these wireless headphones for my Wife to use with her desktop. We had both been fans of the Skull Candy earbuds in the past, so I figured these would be a good call. They are incredible. Between using them for gaming or music, I have had to steal them to use for myself they are so good. Not to mention they are very comfortable and soft around the ears, while their noise cancelling works wonders. Will likely buy myself a pair as a Christmas present to myself this year!”

“Wish I could have gave this product five stars, but due to the fact that the ear pads are not really made of quality material I must give them a four star rating, though I was really leaning towards a three star rating. Sound quality kept me from doing that however. As much as these wireless headphones cost you would expect that the company would put quality first in their products, and yes I do know nothing is perfect. I've had plenty of headphones in my time and even the cheapest ones held up better. On to the brighter side of things, the sound and bass quality of these wireless headphones are simply awesome and though I had to replace the ear pads on them, I still don't regret buying them and would do it all over again if they were to play out. Had them for at least two plus years and counting. Hopefully the replacement ear pads that I purchased from a different company will last longer as I am hearing they have.”

“I know what you are thinking.

You are reading the reviews right now because the price is alot for something to just buy without researching so I hope this will help you decide!

I've always bought cheaper 50 dollar wireless headphones because 100 is alot to invest in a product without testing it. However every pair had broken within a month of usage.

I decided, I always wanted these and heard nothing but good things everywhere I looked. So finally I had finds to upgrade and I tried them out last night. I was blown away!

The finish on the headphones is silky smooth so it feels really nice against your ears.

The adjustable bass knob is honestly the best part because you can control whatever your mood is in for and at one point I forgot I was even wearing headphones because they were just so comfortable to wear!

I ended up wearing them for nearly 5 hours and they were great!

Now my only negatives which isn't really negative at all would be I wish the actual ear part was a little wider to cover my piercings better but that isn't a big issue at all, more of a preference thing.

If you were like me, and not wanting to splurge but wanting headphones that will last you, I can already see these being in my life a long time.

It's worth it, I promise you.”

“I love bass. Growing up listening primarily to hip hop, R&B, and jazz, bass is the heartbeat of the music I most listen to. I’ve used Xtrabass headphones as well as haptic enabled gaming headsets, so I was curious about haptic enabled music headphones. Sound quality is surprisingly good. Usually bass heavy wireless headphones are a one-trick pony with excellent bass and little else. These Crusher evo cans sound excellent across the entire sound profile. Highs, mids, and lows sound equally good with no tones overpowering the other. That is unless the bass slider is slid to higher levels. That’s when things get interesting. Using the bass slider is much more convenient than app-based bass controls. However, Skullcandy does offer an app for more granular tuning and control. Just be aware that sliding beyond a quarter increase in bass intensity can result in a little too much bass. Not only does the intense, physically felt, pounding bass almost entirely overpower all other notes but it actually becomes a little painful due to the haptic feedback. I get both earaches and headaches after extensive listening. In fairness, I get the same from my haptic enabled gaming headset if I turn the haptics up to the highest levels. So, these are excellent sounding if the bass is kept to lower levels. Problem is, the head rattling bass is the biggest selling point. I guess it depends on each listener’s tolerance. As far as build quality, these feel solidly constructed and well crafted with a nice premium feel. Not a big fan of the storage pouch and would much rather it have a rigid storage case like the similarly priced and quality competition but it’s not a dealbreaker by any means. Overall, the Crusher Evo are great sounding and solidly crafted. They don’t have ANC but the seal and passive noise blocking from the cup design is actually pretty good. It blocks mild to moderate household sounds when I’m listening. Obviously it’s not as robust as ANC but unless commuting on public transportation or frequently using the headphones in loud noisy environments, ANC isn’t really necessary to create a nice isolated soundstage, which these do well. Just go easy on the bass if you want music to remain listenable and to not have to possibly take an aspirin later for head and ear aches.”

“I wish I could rate the bass for these a 10. These headphones are big, sturdy, comfortable, very dependable and they pack a LOT of bass. They'll rattle your brain, be careful! I suggest using an additional bass boost from your phone's settings or downloading one from the app store. It makes the bass even more amazing and you can lower the volume and not worry about hearing damage. I've found that the volume is perfect for most songs if you set it *just* under half. I normally have the bass up about one third of the way and it's out of this world. My husband has a Dodge Ram 1500 and these headphones have outdone the bass even for his truck. I have no desire whatsoever to EVER own a different pair of headphones ever again. P.S. whoever listens to these on full blast is nuts!!!!!!!”

“Ok these wireless headphones are just awesome, they feel very premium, I really like the weight and feel of materials and fabrics. The ear muffs are super soft and comfortable. Now for the sound, I literally didn't know headphones could produce this much bass, It takes me back 20 years to feel like I'm in highschool again with 12's in the trunk! Having a bass slider is really nice touch as well for different genres that arent designed to be bass heavy. Im kinda stuck on the bass in this review b/c im just blown away by what they produce, it THUMPS!! as for the rest of the sound ranges, there is a really nice tweeter but I will say the mids do get drown out a bit. Overall i like the sound profile and it fits the style of music i listen too most often. I listen to everything from reggae to rap and classic rock, country and techno. The bass slider is a huge plus when i want more acoustics.

There is an app that gives you access to the equalizer but i havent messed with it yet, right out of the box these sounded great! Coming from Sennheisers before this I had never heard of this company prior to this purchase but i'm certainly a fan now going forward! Buy 'em!”

“I have a small head; they clamp a little harder than I would prefer, and the headband lacks padding; said padding is almost nonexistent and I have purchased added padding. The bass slider is nice, it only works for songs with bass; nothing happens for songs without bass.

It does not have ANC, but passive noise blocking is decent enough to work as hearing protectors. Not quite sure they are worth $150; perhaps $99 might be a fairer price for them.

Paired with my iphone easily.

They have enough going for them that I am keeping them for use in my workshop, or for listening to stuff I do not need people around me to hear.

I found some headband padding that works for small heads:

Headband Cushions for David Clark H10

These fit when I installed them on to my Evo, and made a huge difference to comfort.”
