“These waterproof headphones are the bomb. They stay in the ears and I have music the entire time I swim no matter what style — free, back, breast.. flipping.. they’ll stay put and I absolutely love them.. wear them every day for swimming.. I’ve tried other headphones but these ones are the best, it carries the sound clear and are very comfortable in your ear because you can adjust it to your size since they come with different size attachments.. love them..”

“Bought these for swimming and married them with prograde in ear plugs. Over time the cables basically disintegrate. H2O say that this is caused by pool chemicals and that thorough post swim rinsing is required. Don’t remember reading that on purchase and it seems a bit lame to me, a waterproof product should withstand water conditions. These have not be used too frequently either”

“I have used many waterproof headphones for pool swimming over the years. The sound quality is far superior to any of the headphones I have tried. The fit is excellent. I was able to use the default buds that they came with but there are enough extra sizes in the box to fit almost anyone, they fit comfortably under my swim cap and stayed firmly in place throughout my swim. There was little to no water ingress. They did not cut out intermittently as some of the cheaper headphones often do while swimming. They make long swim sessions a joy. I cannot recommend these headphones enough.”

“I bought this product because of its very good ratings. I use it for lap swimming. The headset works well, but as others have said, take the time to make sure you have a good fit. I experimented my first two uses with it and did not have a good fit in 1 ear. As a result I only heard music out of 1 ear for the duration of the swim. Now I actually have a different sized ear attachment for each ear and that fixed the problem.”

“These work and the large tree-style earbud covers keep out the water. The problem is, although I know they’re supposed to be short, they’re TOO short — they should be about an inch longer. They are precisely long enough to go from my ear to the middle of the back of my head, with no leeway whatsoever — so if my mp3 player is slightly off to the right, or if I brush the cord slightly, the left earbud falls out. This is really inconvenient, not to mention I’m sure many people have bigger heads than I do and couldn’t use them at all.”

“I have been a swimmer for many years and as such, I have tried MANY different swimming ear phones/devices. I am very picky, and almost never write any reviews. However, these headphones are so amazing, I wanted to highly recommend this brand as truly the best!

Sound quality is amazing. It also allows for a snug fit in your ear (surprisingly, many other brands fail to do so). My only issue with the one I just purchased is that the cord is too short. The last one I purchased (same brand), had a longer cord, allowing the option to connect on your swimsuit. I love the longer cord version a lot more. However, if you prefer connecting the device to your goggles instead of your swimsuit, then the short cord version is great.”

“I have been swimming for 14 years with an mp3 player and these are the best earbuds for lap swimming I have used so far. I was nervous about the round buds as I was used to the Christmas tree style for so long, but the round buds actually do a better job at keeping the water out all together. The sound quality is great (and I’m a sound snob)! The chord length is perfect if you have your player mounted to your goggles. I will purchase these again one day when I wear my current pair out!”

“I have purchased these twice. Both times one earpod failed/fails. I’ve tried everything for good sound such as inserting them in my ears in a particular way and letting them run full blast for an hour (not in my ears!) Then they start out okay but despite using the different sized ear pods, kept falling out of my ears and now the right pod has a brassy, ringing awful sound. Don’t buy them. It’s not worth it.”

“I’m a horrible swimmer. So, with all my flailing around, water going everywhere, these headphones are perfect. This is the third different waterproof headphone I tried and theses are the Gold Standard. They sound perfect with my MP3 player and the buds stay in, seal to your ear canal and are very comfortable. I get no bones for writing this but they truly are the best headphones for swimming and the company is clearly 100% behind their product which is an added bonus!!!”

User review 10:

“I have had these earbuds for almost a year now, having tried all the different tips and have not found that any of them prevent water from leaking in and cutting out sound in that ear. It is particularly problematic doing turns in the lap pool. Super frustrating having to stop and play around with the earbuds while trying to get into the zone when swimming. I really love having my music in the pool and these are my second brand that I’ve tried without success. I am thinking of moving to a bone conduction type so I don’t have to deal with earbuds don’t keep water out or pull off the earbuds and get stuck in your ear.”

Through the real review of the above users, H2O audio surge 2g waterproof headphones is a good product, which can satisfy users.
