“I like these because they’re lite, and wireless. I love these because of the freedom of movement they afford! I semi loathe these, because of the battery life. But I kind of like them, again, because when the power gets low, they actually verbally tell you that you’re running low! Yeah, if you averaged that all up, I think that it’d be about a 4. Not the cat’s meow, but not something that I’m going to either try to return, or shove in a drawer, only to forget about them and then eventually pawn them off on some unsuspecting family member, or nephew. ;O) They are pretty decent, and I like the fact that they block out ALL other noise! I’ve seen the behind the neck one, with a way better battery life. But to tell the truth, I really don’t like hearing anything else when I’m working out. So these are great for that kind of an atmosphere. But when I’m out on the bicycle doing a training run. Well, I can see where these might be kind of dangerous, especially in traffic. All in all, I still like them very much. Love them, no, but am not anywhere close to loathing them. Just make sure to pre-plan before you use them. For longer workouts, as in anything over an hour, it’s always best to full charge them, just in case. That way, there won’t be a sense of “Oh snap! I’d better get this workout finished before my battery completely dies!”, as I’ve had in the past. Oh, and I also like the fact that they’ll pick up phone calls, and that you can talk, though the controls do take a little more getting used to. But like anything, the more that you use them, the more that they become more of a no look situation.”

“I got these in December so about 6 months ago and i have not seen a dip in quality since then after strenuous use in my biking and general workout routine.

The sound is great, but not perfect, occasionally it skips out for a few seconds a couple of times but these events are few and far in between. But still ruin my focus on the event I am doing.

The battery life is decent, It is right at last around 4 to 5 hours and should last long enough for any task you do if it is working out, buying groceries, or just lazying around. The case allows you to charge it back to full power twice and takes around 20–30 minuets to return back to full power.

The case itself is good quality, but it is a bit hard to work with once you get it as it is stiff. You do have to stuff your headphones in it for it to fit, and it should fit inside of your pocket or bag.

Bluetooth connectivity is good, i could set my phone in the middle of my house and go just about anywhere without any mess ups in connection. and in any large room without obstructions i could go pretty far without any mess ups.

The headphones themselves are very lightweight and won’t hurt your ears after long use. and are just a good length to fit just about anybody without too much awkwardness. They also have not fallen out of my ears once in my extensive workouts.

End Notes: a pretty great headphone overall, any cons are small nitpicks and i would recommend just getting the headphones if you already have a portable charger.”

“The Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 are a set of “great” bluetooth earphones..but they aren’t perfect. The design and overall feeling of these is great, however, as a power user of these type of earphones I have a few major gripes: the so-so battery life (4.5hrs listening and 5hrs talk), doesn’t seem to be enough room in the charging case to fit the earphones, and the annoyance of having them hang and pull on your ear if your using it in one ear only (they should have added a clip). Personally I use my earphones for heavy music listening, talk, and just overall audio streaming from my phone and I constantly had to charge them throughout the day and I can tell you the case came in handy but using it was a bit of a hassle carrying it around and it wouldn’t charge all the way either. So I can only recommend these to you if you talk on occasion or want a pair for a quick workout at the gym. I gave them to my mother who is a hairstylist and they are perfect for her type of use and they last her almost all day so it varies from person to person. Other than that these are great and hopefully once the next model comes around they’ll have longer battery life but until then i’ll be using my LG tone+ which last me all day and sometimes two on one charge”

“I’ve made sure that I’ve used the phones duing workouts and running (threadmill and street) to write the review. I am very satisfied with them.

They do fit without falling my ears, even when running. They come with the medium sized tips installed. I didn’t feel the need to try the other sizes. You can rotate the “winglets” depending on how angled do you wear them (cord angled 90 degrees to the ground or slightly forward) and I’ve found that this adjusment is key to a secure fit.

While they are not noise cancelling, they do a good job (when properly fit) of isolating exterior noise.

I’ve found that the voice prompts “Power on”, “Power off” much more pleasant to use than a series of beeps that I always end up forgetting.

Charge case is a bonus. With my iPhone (4S) it displays (and tells me when I turn them on) the battery level. Battery duration seems in line wth what’s promised.

While the cord is sturdy and flat, sometimes because of that it gets caught up in my shirt in strange angles, but this is a minor issue.

I cannot tell about long-term longevity, but it seems a clear winner to me.”

“I am very disappointed in this item. When I plug in headset the indicator light glows red only and when I unplug unit is dead and will not turn on. I have only used about 1/2 a dozen times or so. No resolution with plantronics as it is out of the warranty period. Buy at your own risk.”

“Man I really like these headphones! They are not as loud as some wired sets but they sound really good. I bought a pair of powerbeats wired ear buds by dre beats; they were okay but I felt like an idiot for spending 142 dollars on them. These really are the closest I’ve had sound-wise to the beats headphones.

The Bluetooth on these works flawlessly and it also has a pretty good signal range. Now that I own these, I do not see how I can be without them in the future. I workout 7 days a week and these make lifting so much more enjoyable by simply eliminating the wires off my earbuds so that I don’t have to mess with them!

I really wanted an over-the-ear set of buds so I didn’t have to worry about them falling out and I was a little skeptical of these… They hold great in my ears and I did not have to adjust them once during yesterday’s 55 minute chest routine. I am extremely pleased and I would reccomend these to my brother. Big thumbs up!”

“These headphones are fantastic for what they are. If you want a good bluetooth headset that stays reliably connected to your devices, has a good range, sounds good (it’s bluetooth guys, you’re not getting hi-fidelity but it’s good) and lasts, this is a great option. The only negative is the battery life of about 4 hours. I wear these all day at work so I bought a second pair to use while the first charges; that’s how much I love these. They’re great for walking around the office without getting your headphones snagged or having to carry around anything. They’re also great for workout and cleaning; there are included clear things that pop just inside your ear above the headphone and help hold them in place. I’ve had my first pair for a couple of years now and I can’t imagine life without them.”

“This is the third pair of bluetooth earbuds I’ve had in the last two years. As far as audio quality these are far better then what I have owned in the past. The only downside is their battery lasts about 1h45m-2h15m. Great if you are looking for a decent workout headphone. Also the case these come in holds and extra battery so you can charge on the way.”

“Pros:

Charging case (adds 10 hours of charge)

Small, lightweight design

Stays in place

Easy operation and pairing

Great sound

Moisture-resistant

Long battery life (4+ hours)

Battery meter app

Pairs with up to 8 devices

Cons:

Case is stiff, thick, hard to use

Great form factor for active use, with moisture resistance, and the “stabilizer” loops, makes this great for workouts. The right fit for best bass also seals out a lot of sound, although after a while my ear canals were a bit sore. Unfortunately the next size down was too small, felt like they would drop out soon.

The cable makes a bassy noise if it rubs against you, but that’s par for the course with these designs.

No complaints about the sound.

The charging case and long battery life are another plus. Although it’s limited to 4.5 hours at a time, that’s the limits of size and battery technology. However, the case is a thick siliconish material which is a bit too stiff to close easily and to stuff the earbuds into. It’s not clear how they envisioned packing the earbuds and cable, especially if you want to attach the charging cable. It’ll fit eventually, but it feels too tight.

Summary: They stay in the ear, are moisture-resistant, sound good, and have a (stiff) charging case. I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could.”

“I think the concept it nice. Having a case that charges is pretty convenient. I like having a microphone for phone calls. I’m pretty happy with the sound. they are overall lightweight, which I hoped to use for exercise. But that’s where my satisfaction ends.

The ear buds themselves are a design failure in my opinion. They stick out pretty far from the ears which makes problems. From the beginning this makes it hard to keep them in the ear. All the electronics are in the buds. This is liking trying to balance a see saw with a kid v an adult. They try to counter this with “loop” that is super soft and flexible piece of plastic that is supposed to keep them in the canal. This I guess is supposed to lean up against the channels in our outer ear. It makes no sense and is completely ineffective. I”ve moved them in all different directions and it’s still useless. They could have spent the same money just making an over the ear hook.

These are great for sitting at your desk, or on a plane, but I would never use these for exercising. They fall out when I walk across the airport, and forget using them on stairs. I have not tried using them jogging, but I would imagine I’d be spending half my time putting them back in one ear or another. They have a few tips to fit different ear sizes, Ive tried them all, the best fit ones still cannot overcome having all the weight outside your ear. I simple over the ear loop or having a part in the middle of the cord with the electronics would have solved all the engineering design failures. Not sure why they chose not to go either of these routes..”

On the whole, Plantronics backbeat go 2 is a good workout earbuds, and its cost performance and all aspects of performance can satisfy users. Its only disadvantage is that it’s function is not powerful enough, such as not having high waterproof level, and the battery life is not long enough, and some users say that sometimes it can’t be used continuously during the whole workouts. Its in-ear design makes it less comfortable to wear. There are many products on the market that are more powerful, comfortable and stable to wear, such as Wissonly Hi Runner, which is a good substitute.

Although the name of Wissonly Hi Runner is Hi Runner, it is surprising that it has IPX8 waterproof rating higher than the industry standard, which can make it work normally when swimming and diving. If you get your headphones dirty, you can also clean them directly to make the next experience better!

Hi Runner equipped with 32G built-in storage, which can store 5000 songs, and supports two working modes of Bluetooth and MP3. In the scene of underwater sports or without a mobile phone, you can completely use it as a Bluetooth MP3 player. In addition, its battery life is very strong, it can be used continuously for 10 hours, and it supports magnetic fast charging, which takes only 2 hours to fully charge.

The Wissonly Hi Runner features an adjustable aerospace-grade titanium frame that can accommodate different head sizes and also works well with swimming glasses and swimming caps, ensuring a stable fit. The headphone surface is made of high-tech, low-sensitivity silicone material, free from any chemical components, to avoid allergic reactions. The overall feel of the headphones is as smooth as a baby’s skin, preventing discomfort during extended wear. Moreover, weighing less than 30g, they are lightweight and won’t feel burdensome.

As early as 10 years ago, Wissonly’s team began to research headphones that do not hurt the ear, and introduced bone conduction technology into the field of headphones. So this is a brand you can trust.
