“I love these bluetooth ear pieces.

I used to test a lot of them for a company I worked for. Largely to test in noisy rooms, nights with long talk times, comfort, batterlife etc.

This was for a personal set, and I’ve enjoyed the Jabra line in the past. I figured, why not?

It did not disappoint. I picked up the gold set preferring to have something a little more subtle than the black earpiece in my ear with my gray/white hair and fair skin. It was a good choice.

The only drawback right off is the ear piece itself is a bit large, it took some getting used to.

there are 3 sizes of plug adapters which go into the ear canal, soon as I got one that wasn’t too small, or too big, it helped keep the ear piece in place.

Once the ear pieces are paired with each other, I could still use one alone (RIGHT ONE ONLY).

I have a large German Shepherd that loves to pick up small things, so I have to be very careful to put it back in the charger when I’m not wearing it. When wearing both the left and right earpiece a lot of the noises around me are barely noticeable though I would not consider this a noise cancellation earplug. The application that you use on your phone (optional) allows you to upload updates to the earpieces. It also allows you to chose various settings of white noise like woods, waves, beach, static etc. You can also select your own balance, be it sports, talking, high base or treble notes etc.

I’ve used them for a few days now and I love them. The charging case Is plugged in every night, though I’ve yet to have used it till it was dead. I take it off the charger in the morning and drop it into my satchel.”

“These are very nice, with good sound and features. The only thing I tend to hate with most of this style of isolation headphone is that I will never get used to hearing my own heartbeat and breathing and feeling like I have been walled off in a sound proof chamber. I think it actually messes with my equilibrium. Maybe I am only cut out for old school headphones or in ears like the sport models where much more of the ear is open. Still going to use them as I have found none that solve this issue for me. yet.”

“I truly wanted these earbuds to work out after much online research and assumed with multiple earbud tips that at least one size would fit my ears. Unfortunately this was not the case. These buds did not fit the my anatomy — did not stay securely in place — even after trying 2 of the accompanying multiple rubber tip sizes. I could not get a tight, secure anatomical fit in the ear canal opening and the buds kept slipping and eventually falling out into my one of my waiting hands during a run or gym workout … just didn’t work for me. Also, the earbud seemed generally larger and felt heavier than other buds I’ve seen/tried before this purchase. Disappointing.

To be fair, the sound quality and technical features were very good, and the noise cancellation [choice] worked well to block out overhead gym music and traffic. Also, setup and pairing time were extremely easy, short and efficient right out of the box — loved this aspect. However, my 3 star rating was based primarily on the dominant ergonomics and design issue.

Earlier this summer, when these were first delivered, I was travelling extensively and simply did not pause to try the buds, so by the time I did open the box, it was a few weeks later. Usually, I do check a delivered item immediately upon receipt just in case there’s an issue. Moreover, I wanted to give the buds several ‘tries’ before passing judgement, … hoping that these would eventually somehow form to my ear opening. Therefore, it’s now too late to return. My hope is to sell for a great low price online to try to recoup at least a bit of my cost, as I do think these will fit someone somewhere given the multiple earbud tips.

To note, a positive shout out to Jabra tech service; they were all great — professional, friendly, patient, and helpful. However, understandably, they do not take returns when their product is purchased through Amazon. If I would have purchased through Jabra, they may have exchanged for another Jabra model. They did provide a discount for another Jabra product — unsolicited by me — which was very nice. But, I will not be buying another earbud product from any company until I can sell these Jabra buds.”

“After a few days of research and development, overall I am pleased with the Elite Actives. I got these on sale for $159 plus 20% additional cash back, so essentially I only paid $128. Let me say however, these are not worth the regular price of $189.

Fit is very good for me. I’ve read many reviews citing a poor fit, or they don’t stay in. I’ve not had that problem, even while sweating profusely in the rain. The finish on the actives makes all the difference, and I am thoroughly impressed thus far.

I’m satisfied with the sound, but I don’t feel they sound as good as my Jaybird Freedom X3’s, or even the Bose Soundsport Free. They do sound better than the Airpods though. Sound+ app is necessary so you can adjust the equalizer to meet your preference. You won’t be blown away by the bass, but it’s decent enough. With an asking price of $189, I expect the sound to be better. The hearthrough feature is good as well, but it does sound somewhat ‘tinny’. I find myself using it often because it saves me from having to pop a bud out when my coworker is talking to me.

Many reviews have commented that the sound levels of the left/right buds are off, or the right bud is much quieter than the left one, or one of the buds stopped working completely after a short time…

Lest I forget the hundreds of reviews mentioning the poor/horrible customer support from Jabra.

For now, I’ve yet to experience any of these issues. This particular copper/black pair, exclusive to Amazon, came from the fresh batch that they received last week. I’m hoping some of the recurring issues have been solved, and I will update this review in the future if something happens.

I would recommend the Jabra Elite Actives if you can manage to get them on sale. If you’re an audiophile, you’ll probably be disappointed by the sound, but that’s not to say they don’t sound good. True wireless tech is still in it’s infancy stage, and the sound quality will continue to get better. That said, the Jabra Elite Active 65t’s are in my opinion one of the current front runners.”

“I’ve had my Jabra Elite Active 65t for almost two months and I must say they are the best sports headphones I have ever used. I run 5 to 7 miles three times a week and right now it is hot and humid in Chicago. I ask swear a lot when running or working out. Yet, I have experienced no slippage from my ears, which I still find hard to believe as I check them while running but no movement. The same applies for working out in the gym. Sound quality is also excellent, as well as noise cancellations. I also purchased the non-Active buds for work calls and I also give them an A+.”

“Really good headsets. Nothing beats wireless. They stay in the ears while doing sports. You will lose a bit of quality in sound but it’s worth it. Play with the equalizer to put the sound to your taste. One day I forgot them in the running shorts and my wife throw them in the washing machine. I pick them up from inside the washing machine and put them to dry and they still work perfect. Good battery life. I have never run out of it yet although I also read that batteries charge really goes down with time. So far i has it for 8 months and batteries are holding pretty good

A great buy”

“I love the Jabra Elite Active 65t Sports headphones for running, doing yoga, or just milling around the house. They sit snugly and I’ve only knocked one out when I knocked it while wiping my face with a towel on the treadmill. They remain charged for quite awhile, and the case charges them again quickly. The hear-through function makes me feel safer/more in tune with the world around me on an outdoor run. Highly recommend for workout headphones!”

“Awesome headphones overall, good sound, confortable, discreet, awesome battery life and very good looking buds. there has been an issue were one bud was louder than the other one, hopefully there’s gonna be an update to fix that soon, my advice do not update until a new fix comes up. other than that very recommended for everyday use and sports .”

“I bought these and have been using them pretty heavily for about a year now. I take them everywhere I go, class, do sport, on a walk etc… and the sound quality has never let me down, I love the adjustable bass and treble and whatnot. The noise-canceling is very good and blocks out a lot of noise, some times too good, but you have the hear-through mode if you still need to listen to your surroundings. The first couple of weeks they were moderately uncomfortable but after a while, I think I broke into them and they started to feel snug and comfortable. I wear them every workout and sweat a lot and they still are going strong. The one HUGE problem I have with these is if you want to only use one then it HAS to be the right one. You cannot solo use the left one. They also are designed to pause the music after the two pieces have reached a certain distance which means you can’t give one to a friend and listen with them unless you two are very physically close to each other. This was annoying at first but I have come to accept it. I hope in the future Jabra decides to come out with wireless buds that you can give to a friend and jam out with on the other side of the room. Other than that, these are quality buds and I recommend buying them.”

“The key to true wireless earbuds is to know what fits your ears. If large bodies hurt the outside of your ears, these won’t work for you. If your ears have a different angle that causes things to fall out, these won’t work for you. The sound is good and the noise cancellation is good. The case does the job, but has some design flaws and is hard to open.

I know that Apple drives the trends, but I was unhappy when they started making the ear pods. Those things are really big and don’t fit in my ears. It’s the same with these. I put in the right tip to fit securely in my ear canal. But the big, bulbous bases of the buds hurts my ears (outside of the canal). Also, when I talk, the things fall out. When the right one (my top culprit) falls out, you loose the sound in the left. During a 1-hour call while sitting still at my desk and only turning my head, the right fell out at least 10 times. The left fell out maybe 3 times.

I own the Jabra elite 65e and they fit wonderfully. I wear them every day for 6–8 hours of meetings. My ears aren’t sore and they stay in. I hoped that these worked for me, but they didn’t.

The sound was good and the mic was good. The noise cancelling blocked out my snoring dogs. Jabra is good at that. When I walked 10 feet away, the bluetooth started stuttering. This appears normal for newer BT tech.

The battery warned me of low battery after about 5 hours. My other Jabra set lasts 8–9 hours.

I really didn’t like the case. It’s hard to tell when the earbuds are seated properly and after you close it, it’s extremely hard to open.”

The above is the real user review of Jabra elite active 65t Headphones.Generally speaking, it is a good completely wireless headphone, but its disadvantages are obvious. After all, it is an in-ear earbuds, wearing it for a long time will still cause discomfort to the ears, not to mention using it in sports. Therefore, if you want a comfortable wearing experience, Wissonly Hi Runner sports bone conduction headphone with open ear design and high cost performance are recommended.

I noticed Wissonly bone conduction headphones when they were first crowdfunded online. And later, I saw that some otologists were recommending them on online forums, so I bought them. This Hi Runner is their flagship product whose overall functionality is also the most perfect. The headphone use the latest research from the Wissonly lab. It increases the vibrating area of the vibrator by 35% and optimizes the direction of sound transmission to make the sound more concentrated, resulting in a wider range and more spatial of the music. The brand claims that its sound quality is HI-FI level, and I actually tested it myself. I thought that the sound quality was very close to HI-FI level, but it did not reach this level. Of course, the current sound quality is satisfactory enough.

The Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphone has both Bluetooth and built-in storage playback modes. The new Bluetooth 5.0 chip has stronger anti-interference ability, which can easily cope with a variety of complex outdoor scenes and ensure that the good mood during sports is not interfered with by broken lines. At the same time, the stable connection also brings low latency performance, listening to music, watching TV, playing games are no problem. What’s more, they have 32 gigabytes of internal memory, which can store 5,000 songs.

In terms of fit and comfort, the whole frame of Wissonly Hi Runner is made of adjustable aviation grade titanium steel, which can adapt to different sizes of head circumference and ensure the stability of wearing. Its earphone surface is made of high-tech low-sensitivity silicone material, which contains no chemical components to avoid allergic phenomena. The overall touch of the headphone is as silky as baby’s skin, avoiding uncomfortable situations when worn for a long time. Moreover, its weight is very light, less than 30g, and it will not feel heavy when worn. The open-ear design makes it safer to use outdoors because you can easily hear the sounds around you.

The waterproof of the Wissonly Hi Runner deserves special mention, and it is IPX8 grade. It means that you can carry it underwater for up to 20 meters and still use it normally, which is crazy!
