“I bought these as I wanted headphones I could use for running + have music without a smart watch/carrying my phone. Originally I was worried they would be too big for running…and they are pretty big. I guess I have small ears so the hook doesn’t really rest on my ears — the weight is mostly carried in the bud connections. BUT I went on a 10 mile run and they weren’t any more uncomfortable than normal wired headphones. Very happy! Haven’t actually taken them swimming yet. I did try them on with my swimming cap which is a little strange…normally I tuck my ears in the cap but with the headphones on I can’t. Sure there will be a solution though.”

“I couldn’t use them because I can’t play any songs correctly, since all the songs are constantly being listened to as if it were a broken record and I have tried these music files on other devices and they can be heard perfectly on other devices. The song also constantly jumps with a Data error message.”

“Great product that meets my expectations perfectly.

I used to have the Play2run AS4.

And I think the Sony is better at all levels.

The sound is really great.

Quite spaced and intuitive buttons.

Set-up and held while running, nothing to say. Very good Don’t move.

Fast battery charging.

Fast music loading as well. And for my part 4GB really enough.

I recommend these headphones.

No need to lug around your mobile.”

“I have tried several headphones for swimming and this model is the one that best suits me when it comes to swimming. I am small and almost all of them are so big that they fall out or come out of my ear while I swim. This model fits perfectly with the strap behind it and has all the functions you need. I am very happy with the purchase

“I was looking for an Mp3 for swimming, since the ones I had tried so far were terrible (they were around 35 euros), I thought that being Sony and costing more than double the average they would be very good.

They fit well to the ears and are made to make it more difficult for them to come out, and the fact that they are wireless helps to do so. Indeed, it has different ear pads that attach to each one’s ear. It sounds very quiet both in and out of the water, but the sound doesn’t go down much underwater, something that surprised me. If you manage to keep water out of you while you swim, you listen to the music and it makes your journey more enjoyable, but in the turns in the pool to change direction you can touch it, it comes out a little and you can barely hear anything and you have to stop and all the crap… The sound is distorted at times, depending on how the water gives it, and it’s not pleasant since it’s like having a buzz that comes and goes.

As for the buttons, even if they are small, for the purpose they are perfect, as long as you have finite fingers, like me. They are comfortable, wearing them under the hat.

They need to come with a soft case to store them, because carrying them loose in the sports bag and when used every day the probability that they will be damaged much sooner is high.

Indeed, within the market, it may be one of the ones that work best for swimming, but there is still a lot to improve. Based on the fact that it is very difficult to listen to music underwater without liquid entering the ears, I give them 3 stars because if they are successful compared to other brands. I’m still swimming with these (it’s true that I’ve only used them for 3 days since I just bought them).”

“These earphones have changed my life. A bit. They’ve made swimming laps a lot more interesting basically.

You have to be prepared for not having any kind of visual display but that’s not much of a problem. Easy to plug into your computer and drag and drop music, easy to charge. They’re waterproof! You can swim actually underwater and listen to audio! I forgot these once when I was at the pool and I was devastated. Also great for running as you’re totally wireless. Highly recommended.”

“I have now received/bought these parts for the 3rd or 4th time because they simply did not even last the warranty.

The idea is good and I only use it for jogging. No annoying cabling. However, I can’t quite imagine that they should work in water to this day. Because they are so bad in the ears that, in my opinion, the waterproofness between ear and device cannot be guaranteed.

What really annoys me is the following: The current device described here is only “half” in size, but has a price higher by half. An impudence. The quality of the material looks cheaper than the previous model, the charging cradle is only big enough for one headphone (note here that the charging cradle only ever had charging contacts on one side, but it is also about protecting the sensitive ear elements when storing and transporting) and last but not least, the device is like that Strangely built that my ear hurts after about 30 minutes. That wasn’t the case before. The plugs press the inside against the ear canal. The strange design also means that the device no longer sits firmly enough on its head and sometimes comes off from one ear, sometimes from the other ear (including the auricle). No listening pleasure and really annoying.

All of this for an extremely increased purchase price. Sony is always causing problems. Even back then, due to copy protection innovations, many original titles could not be played without problems; certain functions were not available or limited, which many noname products could do flawlessly. Since then, I no longer buy a Sony product if it can be avoided. That has been the case for at least 15 years now.”

“over the years I have tried several headphones to use while running, but only after trying these Sony NW-WS413 I felt really satisfied both for the comfort and lightness of wearing them, and for the sound quality. personmete I use them only for running, so I don’t give judgments on waterproofing, I just ran under a light spring rain and obviously I didn’t encounter any problem.when I run On the treadmill you can feel how effective the insulation they give you from the rest of the world once you wear it, you can’t hear the noise of the engine or the strides on the mat, there’s only running and the music, distraction-free. Plus they are so light and comfortable to wear that it seems not to wear.I recharge them about once a week, the battery has a great life and the controls, once a time happen the volume position and change tracks are comfortable and easy to use. I would buy them back immediately, recommend”

“I must say that they are not the first ones I buy, I have had previous models of this same device. Starting from that base and with the experience gained, I recommend it especially for running.

Their fit is simply PERFECT, they don’t move or have to be repositioned constantly.

Very good SonyDO quality. The files are simply dragged to the Walkman folder, without complications or obligations of any kind.

Buy master.”

“Since I bought this waterproof MP3 player primarily for swimming, my review is exclusively about its use in water. I didn’t have to spend quite €100 for the device.

+ Looks beautiful and makes a high-quality impression.

+ Lots of earplugs in different shapes.

+ A female English voice tells you what the device does when you press one of the buttons and that makes navigating through the menu very easy (even without reading the user manual).

- The volume control is an impudence! As soon as you install the waterproof plugs, you lose quite a bit of volume, then off into the water and you can only guess which piece of music you are listening to right now. According to Sony, this volume regulation is due to an EU organization called digitaleurope.org (formerly EICTA), which sets standards for headphone volume on portable audio devices and has decided that all must be quieter than 100 dB. If you use this device in water, 50 dB will no longer come out! AND NO, it is not a solution to simply turn the MP3s louder with any programs!

- When you jump in the head, or even if you push yourself off harder, the thing falls out of your ears quite easily.

However, the player can be slightly tightened with an additional small rubber strap at the back of the head.

- The typical Sony plugs are probably not the ideal choice for water, as plugs with multiple fins/chambers work better.

CONCLUSION:

Buying a waterproof MP3 player for €100, which is unfortunately unusable in water, is more than a senseless waste of money.”

Most users have given favorable reviews on Sony walkman nw ws413 MP3 player, indicating that it is a good product. But it is not without its shortcomings. MP3 player usually has no Bluetooth connection mode, and so does this one, so it is not so convenient to use, and there are still cable troubles. This MP3 has only 4G of memory, which may not be enough for people who like listening to music. If you are a person who likes running or doing other exercises but doesn’t want to bring too much equipment, I highly recommend that you choose a pair of running headphones with both MP3 mode and Bluetooth mode to replace this MP3 player, such as Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphones.

Wissonly Hi Runner has great waterproof performance, up to IPX8 rating, can easily cope with sweat, rain, swimming can also be used, and even you can wear it scuba diving, it can be used up to 15 meters underwater, if you accidentally dirty it, you can also wash it directly. For underwater scenarios like swimming, the Hi Runner also has 32GB of built-in memory, because the Bluetooth connection can be unstable when moving underwater. With built-in storage, you can use the headphone as an MP3 player and enjoy high-quality music underwater.

Its battery life is also very good, the normal volume can be played continuously for 8–10 hours, which is really good for people who like outdoor sports, even if they go out to climb the mountain all day, do not worry about the battery. It also supports magnetic fast charging, which takes only 2 hours to fully charge.

In terms of comfort, the overall frame of Wissonly Hi Runner is made of adjustable aviation-grade titanium steel, which can adapt to different sizes of head circumference and ensure the stability of wearing, so that it will not fall during exercise. The surface of its headphones is made of high-tech low-sensitivity silicone material, which does not contain chemical ingredients to avoid allergies. The overall touch of the headphones is as silky as a baby’s skin, avoiding discomfort when worn for a long time. And its weight is very light, less than 30g, You can wear it for a long time without worrying about fatigue or pain in your ear. As the flagship outdoor sports model of the Wissonly brand, it is the most comfortable and cost-effective model among all the current bone conduction models.

In terms of sound quality, this bone conduction headphone uses the latest research results of the wissonly laboratory, which increases the vibration area of the vibrator by 35%. At the same time, it also optimizes the sound transmission direction to make the sound more concentrated and the music more spatial. And it has a good performance in treble and bass.

Most importantly, its price is only $99.99,its cost performance is really high!
