“I was searching for a new set of over the ear headphones, and was looking at the more expensive ones such as the Beats and Bose QuietComforts. I really didn’t feel like spending the extra money since these would mostly be for working out at the gym, so I decided to stop in at my local BestBuy to test them out via their display. I decided to purchase them - got them while they were one sale for $80, and I've used them just a handful of times but I have to say that I am very happy with these headphones so far! They are comfortable, have a good balance between sound and base, and their noise cancelling feature is pretty solid. I'm not about crazy volume or bass levels (and I don't entertain fashion statements), so these were certainly a good fit for me!”

“I am very big on sound quality and these headphones have delivered. I tried to find headphones cheaper than other with great sound and the Skull Candy ANC has come to resue. I use them to watch tv and go to the gym. Bass is great also. They are very sleek and great looking. The heaphones are also lightweight and portable. The ear cups fit perfectly around my ears and thr active noise cancellation is awesome! Way better than my air pods or jbl headphones.”

“This came as a set with the “matching “ heavy USB-C cord but the kit comes with a USB to USB-C cord and a bag ,which is really large.Fairly good ANC when the music is playing,it will stop most nearby conversations and background noise from coming through. These are really designed for music playing and not ANC silence such as drowning out jet noise etc.The headphones are fairly lightweight for ANC and the plastic band between the 2 speakers is a little on the inexpensive side, the leather cups are deep and comfortable. The foam pads on the speakers is different than most ANC headphones which use an angle pad that just covers the ANC design underneath. For the price paid these are great because most of the other ANC are 2-3 times as expensive, and if you want to mainly listen to music without background noise in public, these work very well.”

“I tried these for about 2 weeks to a month, and on the plus side, they’re quite spacious around the ears and pretty comfortable, although they don’t feel the most secure and are a bit heavy as well. The noise cancelling is also good, I used them in loud areas like my local gym and worked perfectly. The main reason why I’m giving 3 stars is the sound quality and features. For spending this much there should be EQ settings so you can tailor your own music taste, also has a oretty heavy sound stage that can muddle the kids a bit from what I listened to. If I could say who this is for, if you just want a standard set of noise cancelling headphones that are comfy and large enough for your ears, but don’t care too much about sound features I’d say go for it!”

“Great pair of headphones! Really good sound with noise canceling. I’m not a tech buff, just an average guy wanting to hear my music mainly while working out in the gym or doing yard work! They weren’t as expensive as the “beats” monopoly brand, but I will say that they sound clear and have just enough bass for comfort!”

“I bought these to block out the crappy music at the gym. They work far better than I imagined.  The gym noise is reduced to a very tiny ripple in the background, if I hear it at all. My podcasts or classical music is clear and solid. I wear glasses and the ear pads seal over the temples very well, but they don't press hard enough to hurt. Sound quality was not my main concern, but I think they sound very good.”

“I love these wireless headset. The ANC (noise canceling) works well. The battery has been great. They are super comfortable to wear for long flights or just whatever. I also like the fact that you can use the 3.5mm to plug into if the battery dies as an option. Also that use can use them for a phone conversation as an option.”

“These headphones are great at what they are supposed to do: actively cancel noise. If you’ve never used noise-canceling headphones (ANC), this is a great pair to get started with. My wife is a singer/vocal coach. As she was practicing and warming up, I put on the headphones without even listening to music and I couldn’t hear her even though she was in the next room. I walked over to her while wearing the headphones. Being right next to her, it sounded like she was very far away. Once I turned on my music, I couldn’t hear her at all. I wanted to test these in another loud environment, so I went to my gym where I was sure to find people grunting, weights hitting the floors, and machines whirring. As promised, the headphones actively canceled all noise and I was able to enjoy my movies while working out on an elliptical. With a quick charge of 10 minutes giving me up to 3 hours of use, these are now my headphones of choice for the gym in case I forget to charge them overnight.”

“I recently purchased the Skullcandy Hesh ANC Over the Ear Wireless Headphones in True Black, and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed. These headphones provide a fantastic audio experience while delivering excellent noise-canceling capabilities.

First and foremost, the sound quality is exceptional. The headphones deliver rich, immersive sound with deep bass and clear highs. Whether I'm listening to my favorite music genres or watching movies, the audio reproduction is impressive and truly enhances my overall entertainment experience. The Hesh ANC headphones create a balanced soundstage, allowing me to pick up on subtle details in my music that I might have missed with other headphones.”

“The retail price puts these kind of in the middle of the price range for average customers. Not really expensive, but also not cheap. Overall, not a bad set of headphones, but there are a few issue that keep them from a definite recommendation.

First off, these are kind of cheaply made and cheap looking. The matte black on the earcups and most of the headband I like, but I don't like the gloss black yoke and the inlay of gloss black on the top of the headband. Not sure what Skullcandy was thinking, but a matte black for everything would have been MUCH better and make the headphones look less cheapy. The headphones run small, so if you have a large head you will have to extend out the headband to max and that may still be snug. Even worse, when you extend out the headband they make these more round looking on your head and stick out more on the sides. I have a slightly larger than average head and I have to extend these out to a few clicks from fully extended. The earcups are also on the small size, so if you have larger than average ears they may not completely fit inside the opening. Overall, just making these a little larger in these areas would have been a plus.

Sound quality is pretty decent with ANC off. The ANC itself works pretty well, but you won't confuse the ANC with higher end headphones. One negative of the ANC is that the sound signature does change and not for the good, IMO. With ANC on you lose some of the detail in the sound and a noticeable amount of bass reduction. In ambient mode they sound pretty good and I like that they included this mode. In any mode these don't have the best high end treble quality. The sound output on these is pretty low. I would say listening to these at 80% volume is similar to most other headphones at 60%. So if you like to really blast your headphones, the lack of volume on these could be an issue. In wired mode these sound very dull and downright lousy.

Controls are a bit awkward to get used to. All buttons are on one long rubber piece and all raise dbuttons are very close together. You end up trying to feel for what button you need. You do get voice prompts for settings, power on/off and Bluetooth.

Catch these on sale and I would say they are a good option. Just make sure to try them on at the store to make sure they fit if you have a large head.”

Most users have praised Skullcandy hesh anc over-ear headphones, which shows that this is a gym headphone that can satisfy users in all aspects. However, although it is a good product, it does not mean that it has no shortcomings.Because its earmuffs are too heavy, so it is not comfortable and stable to wear. And this headphone has no waterproof performance, it is easy to be damaged by sweat. If you want to replace it with a gym headphone that is more comfortable and stable to wear with good waterproof performance, Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphone is a good substitute.
