When it comes to Skullcandy, many people who play trendy brands and fashionistas are familiar with it. Skullcandy, which is commonly known as "Skullcandy", was established in 2003. It is a well-known trend earphone brand in Europe and America. Its product design is bold and novel, and its color matching is avant-garde. With its extremely delicate bass, it is deeply loved by earphone bashers and celebrity hipsters. This article collects some users' real reviews, aiming at reviewing HESH ANC, one of Skullcandy's Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones. It is equipped with active noise reduction function, which can not only bring good music but also bring users their own quiet space.

“These headphones are so good. The noise canceling really does it’s job. I also like the voice feature where it says stuff when you do it. The battery life is really good and charges really fast! I used the headphones for like 2 days and it still didn’t run out. When it did I only had to charge it for like 30 minutes. It was worth the money I paid for it!”

“I recently purchased the Skullcandy Hesh ANC Over the Ear Wireless Headphones in True Black, and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed. These headphones provide a fantastic audio experience while delivering excellent noise-canceling capabilities.

First and foremost, the sound quality is exceptional. The headphones deliver rich, immersive sound with deep bass and clear highs. Whether I'm listening to my favorite music genres or watching movies, the audio reproduction is impressive and truly enhances my overall entertainment experience. The Hesh ANC headphones create a balanced soundstage, allowing me to pick up on subtle details in my music that I might have missed with other headphones.”

“I'm using these headphones to listen to music and podcasts as well as for Teams meetings.

The construction of this set is mostly plastic, but it's strong and looks good. The ear pieces swivel on two axes, so they should fit as well over your ears as they do over mine. Overall, the fit is very comfortable.

There are only four control buttons (power, pairing, volume+ and volume-) They have raised symbols molded into their silicone cover, so it's easy to identify them by touch.

I'm happy with the sound quality, but if you're not, there's nothing you can do about it. This set doesn't support the Skullcandy equalization app. There's no active noise cancellation, either, so isolation depends entirely on the fit of the ear pieces.

One of the best features is that USB-C PD is supported. If you have a USB-C power adapter, you can charge the set very quickly. Also included is the proper USB-C to USB-C cable to do this. Also included is a (very short) USB-A to USB-C cable which you can use as well, but of course not for fast charging.

An interesting inclusion is support for the Tile app. Pairing with the app worked fine for me.

This set is a good choice if you're on the go a lot, where fast charging is important, and where you might also misplace them. The simplicity of use is either a feature (if your're like me and don't want too much fussing) or a bug (if you're an audiophile who wants to custom-tune).”

“I am writing this review for the 25 My Best Buy Points.

This is a standard product which performs the duties it says it does.

Nothing special, which is a pretty negative comment when it comes to audio accessories, unfortunately.

Key note: The microphone is better than my phone.. I guess that's good?

My biggest gripe is the white noise you constantly get when not listening to anything. I can't STAND white noise. It mimics wind blowing into your ear. The audio quality is... well, it's no JBL or Sony, but that's to be expected for this price point.

I have owed a pair of Hesh 2s for about 6 years and they broke 2 years ago at the top of one of the ears. So, they still work, but they dangle. These headphones give the same vibe. They are negligibly superior to the Hesh 2 as far as sound quality and at $50, they are honestly not bad. If you have never owned a decent pair of headphones and are on a budget, you should definitely pick these up, but that would be the one time I would recommend these.”

“My teen loves her music, but has major sensory issues. These blend the perfect amount of noise canceling options and music clarity. She can shut out the world, or turn it down a little, all while jamming to her tunes. Major reason i purchased this set of headphones was the 'over-ear' description. My daughter loaths anything on her ears, which has been hard for us to deal with as her ears are bigger than average. They dont smash her ears, and the headband is apparently comfortable enough to wear all day. She wont take these off!!”

“This is a great pair of headphones! The fit is perfect all around and provided lots of comfort. the spund quality is clear, crisp and bold for listening all of my favorite music, podcasts and news. It really helps me stay connected! I'm also impressed with the long battery life and not having to charge often. The active noise cancellation works quite well and definitely better than some direct competitors.. The buttons and controls on this pair of headphones are easy to use and intuitive in design. I also really like the true black color and overall design of this product - it adds flair and style while enjoying the music I love. Overall, this is a very solid pair of headphones that I enjoy wearing to just about anywhere I go. I highly recommend this product!”

“ Skullcandy really knocked it out of the park with this model! Not only do they look and feel well but also sound really awesome! Easily comparable to the rest of the established crown out there like Edifier, ONEMORE, some Sony and Bose models even! The competitive price makes them even more attractive, easy earned 5 stars!!!”

“I recently went travelling and discovered my old noise cancelling headphones that were "wired" were broken. So it seemed like an opportunity to upgrade to wireless bluetooth. It was awesome for the plane. Used it with my Fire Tablet HD10 for watching movies and tv shows on the plane. I also used it for music off my android phone.  It was perfect on the plane. It completely shut off all the engine noise and made watching shows and listening to music, perfect.

After landing and staying with family, I used it to finish a series in bed with wife sleeping. It didn't disturb her at all.  So again, perfect.

The guy at Best Buy told me he thought the bass was a little weak on these, but I found this to NOT be the case....but I do have 63 year old ears.

Anyway, extremely happy with my purchase!”

“I had a pair of Skullcandy Hesh over the ear headphones that didn't have ANC. They were nice but didn't have the ANC. It wasn't long before the controls on the headphones became next to impossible to use. They sounded great when I could turn them on or change volume.

I finally got tired of fooling with them and bought the Hesh ANC model. They were on sale.

The Hesh ANC model is so much nicer. It does a great job of blocking the ambient noise! I didn't notice how much noise there was until it all came back when I switched the headphones off!

I need hearing aids, and I have an Android cell- phone. Android phones won't connect via Bluetooth because Apple owns the copywrite on the Bluetooth interface for hearing aids.

In order to interface hearing aids to an Android phone, an additional device must be purchased for $200.00 - $300.00.

It is wireless but must be clipped somewhere on one's clothing above the waist.

Health insurance will not pay for this little device.

Over the ear technology is the only solution for Android phones with Bluetooth. These Scullcandy headphones solved my solution nicely.”

“The retail price puts these kind of in the middle of the price range for average customers. Not really expensive, but also not cheap. Overall, not a bad set of headphones, but there are a few issue that keep them from a definite recommendation.

First off, these are kind of cheaply made and cheap looking. The matte black on the earcups and most of the headband I like, but I don't like the gloss black yoke and the inlay of gloss black on the top of the headband. Not sure what Skullcandy was thinking, but a matte black for everything would have been MUCH better and make the headphones look less cheapy. The headphones run small, so if you have a large head you will have to extend out the headband to max and that may still be snug. Even worse, when you extend out the headband they make these more round looking on your head and stick out more on the sides. I have a slightly larger than average head and I have to extend these out to a few clicks from fully extended. The earcups are also on the small size, so if you have larger than average ears they may not completely fit inside the opening. Overall, just making these a little larger in these areas would have been a plus.

Sound quality is pretty decent with ANC off. The ANC itself works pretty well, but you won't confuse the ANC with higher end headphones. One negative of the ANC is that the sound signature does change and not for the good, IMO. With ANC on you lose some of the detail in the sound and a noticeable amount of bass reduction. In ambient mode they sound pretty good and I like that they included this mode. In any mode these don't have the best high end treble quality. The sound output on these is pretty low. I would say listening to these at 80% volume is similar to most other headphones at 60%. So if you like to really blast your headphones, the lack of volume on these could be an issue. In wired mode these sound very dull and downright lousy.

Controls are a bit awkward to get used to. All buttons are on one long rubber piece and all raise dbuttons are very close together. You end up trying to feel for what button you need. You do get voice prompts for settings, power on/off and Bluetooth.

Catch these on sale and I would say they are a good option. Just make sure to try them on at the store to make sure they fit if you have a large head.”

Judging from some user reviews of Skullcandy hesh anc headphone above, it performed well, with a total score of 4.1 out of 5. Many users say that they are satisfied with its noise reduction ability and sound quality, and it can also be used in many scenes in life, such as studying, commuting, traveling and so on. However, Hesh ANC is an Over-Ear design with thick earmuffs, which is not suitable for summer when it is too sultry, nor for sports that are prone to sweating. At this time, it is necessary to prepare a second pair of waterproof and comfortable sports headphones. If you're thinking about it, you might as well try the Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphone with an open-ear design.

When you sweat a lot while wearing your headphones or it suddenly rains when you are outside, then the waterproof performance of the headphones becomes crucialThe Wissonly Hi Runner Bone Conduction headphones, as the flagship model, boasts an IPX8 waterproof rating, surpassing industry standards.
