Review 1: ★★★★★

These do the trick and while it doesn't have true noise cancellation, I would rather have some environmental awareness for my hearing than none at all while running. Love the physical clicking buttons over the tap styles of other brands. 4 hour battery life is solid and the container has 3 available full charges from full which is plenty. Just a simple yet great set of all purpose earbuds.

Review 2: ★★★★☆

Awesome design, connects immediately to Samsung Galaxy S8 plus and music (utilizing app) is amazing. I'm not convinced that the phone audio isolated to the right bud was the best decision, but they claim it's for safety if using in a crowd while you are running. It would be better if you could select both ear buds or only one when on the phone during running. The size is right, not obnoxiously large and not too small and they provide lots of optional fitments in the package. I really like the charging pod for the buds.

Review 3: ★★★☆☆

So I run at Planet Fitness, so there is allot of people around. I have found out that one ear bud will go out and come back in and I have my device with me that attaches to the ear buds. Not happy with that. If I stand facing or behind my device, then it works fine, but if it’s not even to my ears then one earbud goes out while running. Not happy with that. The volume is not loud enough either. Needs improvements on that to.

Review 4: ★★☆☆☆

My first pair lasted a couple of months for running before the left earbud would no longer charge. I finally got a replacement pair after a couple of weeks, going back and forth with support and paying $15 for shipping of the old pair back to them. The replacement pair was new sealed in the box but I could never get it to be recognized by the app to adjust the EQ and during the 3rd use of them my music suddenly stopped in the middle of my workout during running. The right earbud on the new pair will not turn on AT ALL now. JUNK!

Review 5: ★☆☆☆☆

The left earbud sound kept randomly dropping during my running. I worked with customer support to reset which didn’t help. I also found a newer version of firmware on the Jaybird site apparently designed to fix this problem. I downloaded and it didn’t fix the problem. My last pair of Jaybird Bluetooth x2 headphones lasted for years!

Review 6: ★★★☆☆

These headphones are great. No connectivity issues, awesome sound quality, easy to use and put in for running. BUT. Man. I didn’t know I had abnormally small ears but I guess I do. I used the smallest fins and the smallest bud covers and these earbuds were so painful, especially when I took them out! I wish I had bigger ears; otherwise I would love them for my daily running. So sad I have to return them. I want to be all in but they are not worth the pain to me. If you have small ears, you might wanna consider something else!

Review 7: ★★★★☆

I have had these headphones for 2 years for running and can say that they are reliable. However due to having these headphones through this very long time the left headphone disconnects sometimes and I have to turn off and turn on again befor running in the gym. Sometimes the headphones don't connect to the phone properly and don't display any sound. I don't mean to complain but there are always faults with a product, but I truly believe that the value I am getting is fair.

Review 8: ★★☆☆☆

I decided to give these a try after my X2s died after 4 years or 2/hr a day gym/running use. Very disappointed. It’s hit or miss on even being able to connect, there’s been numerous times where I couldn’t connect and I couldn’t power off and on again, placing them in the case seems to reset them but that’s not practical on a run. (The battery wasn’t even close to dead) also if my phone is in my running belt the sound cuts in and out a lot.

Review 9: ★★★★★

I have used Jaybirds for the last several years. I have running a lot (in the humid south) and need very sweat resistant headphones. Jaybird was the only brand I could find that stood up to the challenge. When my latest pair quit charging I decided to go true wireless. These fit pretty well right out of the box. They are comfortable so far for my daily running (longest run has been an hour). I was impressed with the sound quality, especially after reading and watching the reviews saying the sound quality was meh. I think they sound better than my wife's apple airpods. Battery life has been great as well. Again, the longest running has only been an hour. I haven't had any issue with battery life. Overall I'm very pleased.

Review 10: ★☆☆☆☆

I ran a half marathon with these and they were great, worked the entire time on a single charge and stay comfortably in my ears the whole time. I have run a handful of times since then and was enjoying the earbuds alot. Recently, the last month or so, about 2 miles into the run, the earbuds shut off. When I turn them back on, they say welcome, 80% charge, and ask me to reconnect. I reconnect to bluetooth, continue running and they shut back off again. This happens whether I am using one earbud or two. They power on saying fully charged or 80% but shut off mid run almost every time. When I am using them just sitting stationary, they seem to function fine. This is extremely frustrating that they are advertised as running earbuds but they do not work fully for running.

Analyzing the reviews from users of this headset, we can know that most of the users are satisfied and pleasantly surprised with it, but there are some problems with this headset as well. Users report that the Bluetooth connection of these earbuds are unstable and the charging device is prone to problems, even after a few months of use it malfunctions.

Therefore, as a headset for running, it is not recommended by users. If you need a pair of practical headphones at a comparable price to the Jaybird Run earbuds, we recommend bone conduction headphones, especially the Wissonly Hi Runner.

It is an open-ear design headphone that helps you maintain awareness of your surroundings for safer and more hygienic use.
