Review 1: ★★★★★

I don’t know that I would have paid the full asking price (I had a $100 discount), but these really are pretty good headphones for working out in the gym. It effectively cancels out most everyday noises. It even drowns out the sound of snoring. The quality is surprisingly great, even for Bluetooth headphones for gym. I have had no complaints about voice quality.

I like that it can connect to multiple devices simultaneously. I can have my ringer turned up on my work phone and listen to music on my PC. It automatically pauses the music when I get a call. Good product, nice for working from home.

Review 2: ★★★★☆

When I heard the JBL Tour One for the first time I will admit I was a little disappointed. It sounded thin and muted, especially with NC turned on. Despite my disappointment I wanted to give these headphones a fair shake so I continued using them for gym almost exclusively until I felt I was able to properly evaluate them. I'm not a firm believer in "burn-in" time although it does make a difference in some instances. I think the Tour One is one of those instances. Either that or the sound has grown on me while exercising in the gym.

Review 3: ★★★☆☆

It was a bit disappointing that I could not listen to the headphones while they were charging, so I took them off the charger and started the long-awaited play test. I put the headphones on, they were very comfortable for workouts in the gym, I was quite surprised, I am a big guy with a big head. They paired up super easy for gym, and I was ready to go!

Review 4: ★★☆☆☆

I bought these headphones for the gym as I thought they’d be awesome, but they have really weak clamping power they fall off my head every time I move it too fast or lay down to bench press. When using the headphones there’s also a ringing noise in the background that I can’t not focus on, if gives me a headache. It’s especially louder when using noise canceling for working out in the gym. If I could return these I would.

Review 5: ★★★★☆

These ANC headphones from JBL arrived two days before I hopped on a flight, so the timing couldn't have been better. Normally, I test noise-cancelling headphones in a gym with a noisy fan running; this time, I could do both gym fan and airplane engine whine tests in back-to-back days. (More on the results later.) Plus, I had plenty of time to toggle through the settings/features via the app both in a quiet home setting and in the air. Some features I liked well enough at home, but they drove me crazy in an airplane, while others turned out to be fantastic.

Review 6: ★★★★☆

JBL Tour Ones are a pretty good pair of headphones for gym. Before we go on, we must know sound quality is subjective and we all have different hearing capabilities that differ.

Sound quality is pretty good and fit the middle road of how we listen to music and what category so I do feel this will fit the middle. Not as punchy in the bass department compared to the 50mm drivers the V-Moda crossfades have and most likely won’t survive the same torture I put the V-Modas in during heavy sweating days at the gym. But they do have decent bass with the correct settings applied. With the app I put them in jazz mode with the ANC turned to The Drown out every day sounds mode. I feel the bass a lot more without muddying up the sound while working out in the gym.

Review 7: ★★★★☆

JBL is definitely upping their game lately and while I feel these headphones are a big step ahead compared to past products I've tried from the brand, I still felt there were some things about these that I didn't like and would keep me from running out to buy another set for gym.

If you are looking for awesome battery life and decent sound, these aren't bad. But they are not multitaskers. The case is quite nice and well-designed. Build quality of these is not bad for exercising in the gym. The sound quality is quite good with these but they forgot there are still people who listen to classical music and no matter how much I fiddled with the customization settings I still felt it was crackly for some passages of music. Bass lovers will like these. Me, not so much.

Review 8: ★★★☆☆

It looks great and has excellent battery life for gym. Other than that, the ear cups were too small and hurt my ears. The noise canceling is worse than $100 Anker headphones. I love JBL I have so many items from them, but this one at the price for workouts at the gym I don’t think so. I have a $ 25 dollars Bluetooth headset that sound way better and louder than this JBL Tour One.

Review 9: ★★★★★

The headphones are really good for gym, I loved the noise canceling, the ambient aware mode and I've been using them for a month now and I still have 80 percent battery left. They also have a very premium feel when I am exercising in the gym. The only down part is that the app doesn't work at least on Android, it says that I have two headphones connected and this is my first and only JBL headphones, I tried restarting them, restarting the app and even downloaded an APK and the app never worked sow if someone knows how to fix it pls tell me.

Review 10: ★☆☆☆☆

This sound great and are really comfortable for gym. However, whenever I'm listening to music, I get these small breaks in the music every few minutes. Often more than once in a 3-minute song. It's horrible. I called support and was told I was experiencing blue tooth interference and I should just turn off all other Bluetooth devices in the area. WTF? My TV? My refrigerator? My computer mouses? My apple watches? How can I turn off all the Bluetooth devices when I'm in a gym and everyone around me is using their Bluetooth devices. It's crazy and support was NO help. Hence the 1-star rating.

Analyzing the reviews from users of these headphones, we can know that most of the users have given this headset a positive review, and some of them have given it a negative review. Because the Bluetooth connection of this headset is unstable, easy to be interfered by other devices, and not able to wear it firmly, it is easy to fall off, especially when working out in the gym.

Therefore, if you want a pair of sports headphones for the gym, we can look for an affordable alternative to the JBL Tour One Bluetooth headphones and recommend the Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphones.

Reasons for recommendation:

This is the most configured bone conduction headphones on the market, which is suitable for sports enthusiasts to exercise in gyms or outdoors.

Wissonly bone conduction headphones are the first brand I started to contact. When they recommended it on the online crowdfunding platform, I noticed it, after saw that many people were recommending these for working out in the gym, and I bought it. This Hi runner I used for a few months, and the overall performance was better than I expected.

Some bone conduction headphones leak sound, and you know that I take privacy very seriously while exercising at the gym, so I'm very concerned about anti-sound-leakage technology. Wissonly Hi Runner does a very good job in the field. Its body is sealed, and through structural optimization and algorithm adjustment, its sound leakage is minimized. The official claim they can eliminate 90% of sound leakage.

I do not have professional equipment to test, but I have tried and found that at 60%-70% volume while exercising in the gym , the sound is completely inaudible at a distance of 1.5 meters, which makes me very satisfied. I have actually compared it with other bone conduction headphones, and the Wissonly Hi Runner has currently the best sound leakage reduction solution in bone conduction headphones.

The Wissonly Hi Runner is also particularly comfortable in the wearing experience. Because the material of the whole machine is high-tech hypoallergenic silicone, and it is coupled with the ergonomic design that conforms to the structure of the human ear, so that users will not bring any burden to the ear under long-term wear for gym.

Sound quality as the core performance is undoubtedly worth mentioning. Hi Runner uses a large-sized vibration unit, the sound range is wider, the sound is more three-dimensional and deeper, so the sound quality is undoubtedly very good. And it is also equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 chip, the connection is more stable and you don’t worried about Bluetooth devices of other people interfering with you when exercising in the gym.

And it will not be disconnected when used for gym, which is a good experience. The Wissonly Hi Runner also comes with 32GB of built-in storage that can store 5,000 songs, so you can use it completely as an MP3 player to enjoy music without your phone when you work out for gym.
