The bose soundsport wireless are good wireless sports earbuds. They're comfortable and should be stable and breathable enough to take with you to the gym. Their sound profile is well-balanced, and their semi-open design gives them a better soundstage than most in-ears. Unfortunately, their 6-hour battery life is only mediocre and they don't block as much noise as other in-ear/earbuds which is not ideal for commuting. I had a hard time finding ear phones that was sweat proof and one that wouldn't fall out during cardio specifically. 3 different brands/styles later I finally found them. The ONLY thing I wish was better is the volume. The clarity is great, but I wish they could very louder. I find I can still slight noise through the earphones, in the gym at least. At home or work it's not as noticeable. Overall I would definitely recommend!”

“These headphones are perfect for the gym. They stay put in your ear, throughout your entire workout. May have to adjust occasionally depending on how vigorous your workout is. Other than that perfect. Battery time is ok it could be better,i can get about four workouts in (2hours) before recharge. Sound quality is excellent as always from Bose.”

“I really like these headphones. I bought them because of three features. First I wanted a cord between the earbuds because I frequently take them out of my ears during the day. Second I wanted earbuds with the hooks because almost all traditional earbuds fall out of my ears. Finally I needed really good microphone quality because I'm using these for phone calls all day long.

This design and technology doesn't seal out ambient noises completely and that's good for my purposes. It doesn't come with wireless charging and worse it uses micro-USB instead of USB-C. The battery has lasted me almost 6 hours of phone calls. I haven't measured how long it would last listening to music only.

The pairing to my phones and gadgets is seamless and I can't tell you how much I appreciate that it manages connection to my two mobile phones so perfectly.

The design definitely needs an update to make them a little lower profile and extend the battery life but I really love these things!”

“Love love using my bose soundsport wireless earbuds in the gym or when running/walking/errands. I think I got it for less than 100$ at time of purchase. My ear is weird with in ear buds, so when i tried this, i wasnt sure if it was going to work but it did. Never fell off when doing hard core workouts or when i'm sweaty. The sound coming out was A+ too. Bose did us a solid with this product. If there was a con, I wish they had included some sort of noise cancelling to it. It does get a little loud in the gym. Other than that, great product for the price.”

“I have been using this for last 3 months and tested with different ear plugs that I got with the purchase. However, these headphone do not fit for my ear. These just slips from my ear after few minutes of my workout. Though the sound quality is moderate, Every person ear share/size is different and these Bose® - SoundSport® Wireless In-Ear Headphones  are NOT for me. “I bought these to replace EarPods that just didn’t work for me at the gym as they’re too slippery.  These are great. With a little twist into your ear they stay put and don’t fall out no matter which way you move or how much you bounce around. And they are comfortable. I also like the clip to attach them to my shirt for the times I don’t need them in my ears. I mostly use them to listen to audio books while in the gym, the sound is perfect. They have a long battery life and are easy to charge, and when turned on tell you how much battery remains. I also love the case with the clip which I keep attached to my gym bag. I also use these around the house to listen to an audio book while cleaning, no need to drag the iPhone around with me to listen.”

“I bought these mainly for the gym and they are excellent. They hold a charge for about 8 hours a day. I wear them for about 2 hours during my workout and rarely slip out. I read that they can be uncomfortable for a long duration, but I do not experience this. The audio is incredible. I pick up more sound than my previous headphones and I enjoy listening to more music because of them. I highly recommend them and you will not be disappointed in the clarity and tunes out a lot of the outside noise as well.”

“These headphones can be summed up with one word...AMAZING! They fit the description of everything I would want when looking for wireless headphones. First of all, they are bluetooth. Gone are the days of connecting a wired set of headphones to the jack on my phone. One of my next favorite features is the sound quality. I have several Bose products and I must say my expectations were high for this product. Bose did not let me down. 

The headphones are sweat/water resistant which is a plus when working out. They also are very comfortable and seem to fit easily on my ear. I wear them for long periods of time and they never irritate my ears like some headsets have done in the past. The left and right earpieces are connected together by a single wire. The wire has a small clip in the middle to latch the headphones to your shirt collar to assist them in staying in place as well as to make sure they do not fall off your neck when not in use. When you turn the headset on it immediately tells you the amount of battery life left as well as the name of the device the headset is paired to. 

Bose also has an app available for download called Bose Connect. This app will allow you to look up information about the headset as well as update it and control it. I hope Bose installs more features into the app as time goes on such as an equalizer. This device has a total of four buttons. The power button is on the right earbud along with a battery light and a bluetooth indicator light. On the wire between the earbuds, closer to the right side, there are three additional buttons. These buttons include volume up, down, and mute. The mute button also serves to answer phone calls and end phone calls. 

The headset has a built in microphone for taking your calls while wearing it. The mute button also changes the song, pushing it twice in a row advances to the next song, while pushing it three times goes back to the previous song. The box came with a USB charging cable as well as a carrying case for the headphones that also has a clip for attaching it to a bag. There are also additional earpieces. The headphones come preinstalled with medium earbuds, but they are interchangeable for small or large as well. All in all, operation of the headset is simple and easy to learn. I love this headset and I can see myself using it for a very long time.”

“I had my first pair of Bose Sound Sports for over three years and my first pair still work! I bought this second pair for the same reason I bought the first pair; sound is really good, durable, and close to wire free (light)

Pros:

- The sound quality for really any genre of music come in clear. The ear tips are flexible and fit my ears with a good seal giving me sound isolation. 

- I mention durable, 3 years on my first pair.  I took my headphone through the paces. Running, gym, travel, rain (don't recommend) and lending my headphones to my kids (I also don't recommend) and through all that, they maintained great sound.

- Bluetooth syncs with different flavors of mobile phones and both my Apple and Dell laptops with no problem.  

Cons:

- Depending on your physical activities, the wire can get in the way of dramatic movement....ie jump rope.  

- they do stick out of the ear

Other than that, I highly recommend these headphones, especially at the sale price. Great sound!”

“I've become disapointed in the Bose SoundSport Wireless headphone reliability. This pair was replacement for another failed Bose SoundSport headphone. This pair died before the maiden use (6 mile run) was finished - around mile 2 they faded and stopped working. To say it was not only frustrating to have your headphones die on a run - but is seems Bose's Water/Sweat resistance has really gone hill.  Suggestion for product development into waterproofing/sweat proofing to industry standard would be great!  I chose these headphones for the fit and comfortability and ease of use.

Thankfully - I had bought the 2 Year protection plan - and BestBuy was able to swap them out same day with a new color - only for that pair to last it's maiden run - to be swapped for not charging.

Open to suggestions for better...  Bose has lost it's podium place as my number 1.”
