“I did quite a bit of research when I got in the market for wireless earpods. I wanted some that would sync with my devices via bluetooth, had great quality AND fit my ear comfortably. After narrowing the search down to the Apple Airpods, Jabra earbuds and the Bose SoundSport I tested each out and sought feedback from friends who had each of the others. The Bose SoundSport come with three different in ear adapters for the perfect fit and the sound quality was immediately noticeably better than the others. The volume buttons are simple and conveniently placed on the right ear bud. They sync flawlessly with with my Apple watch, iPhone and Macbook via bluetooth. The coolest feature about the syncing ability is that on the left earbud you simply tap the button on top and it switches between devices its in range of. I use them to sync with music on my watch at the gym and on bike rides regularly so I don't need to carry my phone around and deal with cables getting tangled while working out, I also enjoy wearing them on airplanes while watching TV on my laptop or phone. They're comfortable and durable and I cannot stress the sound quality. You can also use them as a bluetooth headset to talk on that phone as well. I'd recommend them to anyone in the market for premiere wireless ear buds. They are a bit pricey, but worth the money compared to the competition.”

“Waited a couple weeks to write this. Got the Citron/Blue, updated to new firmware with Mac before first listen. In 2 weeks of regular gym use, maybe 2 (?) times left channel faded for half a second. Contrast to the "wired/wireless" ones that completely glitched from time to time when standing near a wifi hotspot. And before those I had the bluejays which glitched connection constantly and had terrible battery life.
What makes these great is it's the same sound quality of the wired/wireless, but actually better, because you don't have the wire around your head constantly unseating them and breaking the seal (which you need for good bass - which these have in abundance).
Another plus is the battery case is included (had to pay $50 more for it with the other version) AND they just magically turn themselves on and off as you take them in & out. Plus the case is smaller!
So, I'm using it with a last gen iPod touch. That may make a difference in the connectivity thing. I'm sure the people complaining about it aren't crazy. But I love these things. The lack of a wire pulling them out of place is huge. And they have better connectivity under all conditions than any of the other 2 high end blue tooth wired/wireless headsets I've owned. Sorry I waited so long to try them.”

“I've been using Bose products for a really long time, the SoundSport headphones don't disappoint. I usually go for their over ear style headphones, but I needed something I could use in the office and still be able to hear the activity around me. These have worked out great. They fit comfortably in my ears. They come with three different size ear plugs. It took me only a second to figure out how to put them in, once they're in your ear (if you're using the correct size plugs) they won't fall out. I've tried. Gave myself a headache trying to shake them loose.
I'm very please with the sound quality. They are Bose after all, I expect nothing less. I usually listen at a low volume with only the right bud in my ear, but I've cranked them all the way to max with both headphones in and the sound is impressive, with a decent amount of base too.
These run more than older air pods, but the sound quality is much, much better. The case may be bigger than a lot of other offerings on the market, but it also has a larger battery. I haven't had them die on me yet. I'm very please with these.”

“I was so excited to get these headphones! I did tons of research and noticed a few less than stellar reviews but decided to take my chances because we are a Bose household. Everything we have is Bose. I got the headphones and loved the packaging. I loved that the headphones were completely 100% charged upon arrival. I loved the case, and that it doubled as a charging dock. I LOVED that I could pair these earbuds with my Apple TV and listen to TV while not disturbing my wife while she's sleeping. Here's why the less than stellar review: The left earbud constantly becomes unpaired. I mean, CONSTANTLY. I would almost give it a pass (except that the price tag is too big for faults) if I were working out or running, or super active. I was literally sitting in my bed watching TV and for no reason at all the left earbud just stops working. I can also just be sitting at my desk on a conference call using the earbuds and the left one just stops working. I refuse to pay $200 for a pair of earbuds that works about 25% of the time. Luckily, I purchased from Amazon (obviously), and they have a super liberal return policy. These babies are heading back first thing in the morning. :'( Come on Bose - get it together!”

“Battery life is excellent on these. Case is good too. Feels good quality. Some people were saying in other reviews that they felt like the year buds were large and stuck out, but I didn't feel this way. I have kind of a large head so maybe that's why.
a few months after buying them I've noticed that the right ear tip has started to get loose. I checked on the Bose forums and found that this is a common problem. I cleaned the tip very well with alcohol (and I obviously clean my ears, ya nasty) but especially when doing bench exercises at the gym it feels like it's going to fall out.
I wish that those would sell replacement ear tips or find a way to fix this problem. Otherwise these are very good sounding headphones and I like that they have a long battery life and a pretty good feeling case.”

“They’re bulky and stick out quite a bit, however the sound quality makes up for that. I’m glad I’ve made the purchase. Nice charging case. No charging block...boo! Overall I like the product and will look into Bose wireless headphones next.
These earbuds are so amazing I had to come back and update my review. I use them at the gym a few time a week. Great battery life. They cancel out the noise of the gym.”

“I did not like these at first and even did a Youtube review and rated other headphones above these. I am not impressed with listening to music with these earbuds. I would like more bass but I have found that these earbuds are the best that I have ever used for making phone calls. I carry them and use them every day for making phone calls. These are the only earbuds that never get complaints that people can not hear me. I sound crisp and clear and they always sound the same on my end an for that I have found a solid use for these headphones. You only can use the right earbud for talking but always use them in one ear anyway when using earbuds for calls. I tried to work out in them and they was not loud enough for me in a crowded gym. I always have trouble with the left one staying in but that may just be my weird left ear because I have that problem with every earbuds I have ever had. In my opinion, they are only ok for music and not worth the price but for the value that I get for using them for phone calls I love them.”

“I am a bit of a sound head and have always been brand loyal to beats. I know I know Bose is the original, but I prefer the styling of the Beats products. For this purchase it was between wireless beats and the bose sound sport and I am not disappointing that i went with the Bose soundsports! The sound quality is amazing, I love the included charging case. It really gives you piece of mind to be able to have them wherever you are on the go. They are stylish, they fit well (they come with some sizing options) I have not experienced the left ear phone failing as some have highlighted. Its one of those products you just have handy at all times whether you have an immediate use for them or not, they are aesthetically pleasing just as they are quality. Battery life has not been an issue as I can usually get away with charging them once a week at this point and I go to the gym about 5 days a week, my gym regiment includes skipping (high intensity) and running to which, the sound sports have remained snug in my ears!”

“I have bought over a dozen headsets in the last few years and have not heard anything like these pods. I have the QC35 (I & II) and will still use those for planes and sitting around the house environments (comfort over longer time periods and active noise reduction), but for everything else I am just going to use these. The music sound is really amazing. It just sounds like it is playing in your head. Great base, rich sound. Awesome. I was waiting to buy them because of the bad reviews about video sync with iOS devices, but it seems they fixed that as I have had no trouble on the elliptical watching netflix. Have used them at the gym, out running, phone calls. All great. The biggest downside is if you are in an active/dangerous environment, you really want to keep the volume down as you won't hear much else if it is turned up. The charging case is a nice feature. Easy to charge once in a while and the buds are always charged in it. Highly recommend this product.”

“These buds are comfortable, easy to use, and have the Bose sound quality that I expect.
Regretfully I had to rate them at two stars because for Bose, and for the price, there are two large technical issues.
First and most annoying is audio cutout on the left ear piece. It cuts out regularly and for no reason that I have been able to determine. It does it most often when the phone is in my left front pocket by itself (nothing in the pocket to interfere.) It does it in other situations also but less frequently. Interference having the phone close to my body causing the cutout would make sense except that the right ear piece (the master) almost never cuts out. Very annoying when out walking or running.
The second issue is only a problem when using the buds to watch video. There is noticeable lag between the video and audio. The audio coming from the buds is always a moment behind the video. It is especially noticeable with speech in a video.
All in all, a miss from Bose with these. I would not buy them again. Too expensive to have these glaring issues.
I should add, my firmware is up to date and using the Bose Connect app does not make it any better.”
These are some real user reviews of Bose soundsport free Bluetooth earbuds. Generally speaking, most users are satisfied with its functions.
