“Love them. I use them for exercising both at the gym and outdoors and are perfect for it since they don't limitate as any other on ear or around ear headphones, they are beautifully designed and have awesome sound. I've noticed that they have a bit of a delay when watching videos but since I don't use them for it and they were designed for workout primarily, I'm not concerned about it.

If you are going to use them for the gym/outdoors exercising this are perfect for you, but please consider to try the different eartips to find the perfect fit for you to avoid the to move during your work out. If you want to use them for not only workout but for everyday use, maybe consider buying other headphones in the market. I currently have the Bose Soundlink On-ear Wireless Headphones and the Bose Quietcomfort 25 that serves a fantastic purpose as an everyday headphones, both wirelessly and wired. So if you are looking for a headphones for an everyday use, you might want to consider those instead of the Soundsport free.”

“I own the Jabra 65T, buds and comparably the sound quality of the Bose is as equal. The Jabra didn't fit my ears very well and would always have to be adjusted when working out. The bose doesn't have the be adjusted and can withstand the most aggressive workouts. The range on the bose is phenomenal, I can clearly set my phone in my gym bag and walk all around the gym without the nuance of having the phone on my person. The connection is great, but the one thing Jabra has superior over bose is the ability to allow sound through mode, where it allows outside noise for hearing when running outside, and doesn't degrade the sound quality.”

“They fit well and had good sound which is a Bose hallmark however they suddenly stopped working and I have tried everything from support to updating software as well as reset and charge them and drain them then charge them again. They just died. Which was surprising because Bose is known for quality. When I contacted their support I was informed that the warranty has run out and the replacement would cost me $250. Why would I wish to spend more good money behind a product that could stop working again - especially from the house of Bose. Would not recommend this product to anyone and would suggest looking for other cheaper alternatives.”

“I own a number of Bose products and I love them all, so I could not wait to get my hands on a pair of these. I opened the box and I was impressed with the quality. They felt very “Bose like”. So far, so good. I popped them in my ears and I realized I looked a little like Frankenstein with the way they poked out to the side, but I can give them a pass on that. Then I brought up some music and WOW, they sounded great. I tried to lower the volume and realized the volume rocker switch has no haptic feedback, so I had no idea if I was pushing it or not, I pressed harder than the volume dropped. Hmm, not good by maybe I can get used to that. However, I bought these to watch videos on a plane, so I brought up a movie on Netflix and that’s when the real problem started. The voice was so out of sync to the actor’s lips it was unbearable. I tried a little Hulu, same thing. I had read this could be an issue, but I thought surely a quick firmware update would fix the problem since I was certain that Bose would not release a product this faulty. It took 45 minutes for the update to install and I brought up the same movie. Was the problem better, yes it was. Was it fixed, no it was not. The lag still made you feel like you were watching something over a bad dial up connection. I had to admit defeat and print out the return label. Bose, what were you thinking releasing a $250 pair of buds that you can ONLY listen to music with? These things should be recalled.”

“I just returned the Jabra Elite no wire earbuds. They were painful to wear, truly painful, pushing the button to change the song hurt so much i just used my phone to control. The bass was absent and sound was terrible. They let in all the surrounding noise at the gym. I replaced with the bose sound sport and there is no comparison. They have not ever cut out and the sound is superior to any wired earbuds i have used that includes apple buds. They are comfortable and fit snug, I can't hear any surrounding noise at all, the earpiece is soft and covers the ear canal. Very well designed they stay put for the duration of my workouts. The base is unbelieveable as you would expect from bose, I played everything from stevie ray vaughn to lady gaga to U2 and the balance of treble to base was awesome the midtones were not at all mushy like the jabra elite. you can go very high volume with these. Excellent product!”

“To put it simply: these earbuds are inferior to AirPods in every aspect, except for fit.

The case is bulky, the earbuds look undeniably ridiculous, and the bluetooth connection is barely acceptable (fine for running, but not videos or using your phone's assistant).

The saving grace is that these earbuds actually stay in my ears while running. Literally no other wireless earbuds stay in my specific shape of ears. If you can run/workout with AirPods, then I would definitely get them instead. But if you have weird ears that only tolerate Bose's soundsport shape, then these are your only option for truly wireless earbuds. If possible, try to wait for the next revision—Bose is almost certainly making modifications to address the huge number of returns and unsatisfied customers.”

“Likes:

-Sound is fantastic

-I workout every day, lift, run, cycle, hike, and these are truly sweat-proof. I've had airpods, Jaybirds, Beats, you name it...they're not sweat-proof. I'd send the other ones back every few months due to sweat getting in

-The quality of the materials are great. The case looks like regular plastic. It can take a beating from downtown city living. I carry them in my backpack to the gym, work, bicycle rides, hikes, etc. Highly recommend them.

Dislikes:

-The left ear's audio sometimes skips for a second. Not often enough to make it annoying”

“1) These are larger than they appear in the photos. The size of the pod on the outer ear made them prone to falling out (they'd weigh themselves down and pop out)...and looked really weird.

2) I have small ears, and the Small silicone ear fitting didn't seem to do the trick. I twisted them as instructed to place them correctly, but it often took a few tries to get them to stay

PROS

  1. Once they were in, the sound quality was excellent

  2. I took a few phone calls while I had these in, and there was no lag. We could hear one another really well.

  3. I liked the buttons on the ear that allowed me to adjust the volume and accept a call, but if this feature is the reason for their big size then I'd prefer not to have this feature. It wasn't worth the weight of the device.”

“I love my BoseSoundSport Free Truly Wireless Earphones. The sound is great, and I can have my own private concert to my favorite songs.

The battery life is perfect for my week of gym workouts. I usually workout 4-5 days a week 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 hours a day. I still have enough battery life to use them on the weekends for biking and/or hiking.

They only thing I’m disappointed about is when I get really hot and sweaty, sometimes they slip out of my ears if I’m doing something requiring me to do a lot of movement or if I’m laying down doing Ab workouts. Other than that I can’t complain.”

“These headphones are great, but they have a big flaw...

With Bose, you know you’re getting a quality product with great sound. They are slightly bass heavy, but that’s a feature I personally enjoy. Iterally every music service has an EQ to change if that’s not your preference. The charging case is great as well and small and compact to fit in your pocket or bag. They fit very comfortably, and I even have small ears. They don’t bounce around and I never have to worry about them coming loose or falling out.

However, if you live in a warm climate, they continuously turn off. If you want to listen to them on a hot day at the beach - nope. If you’re chillin at the pool and the suns out - nope. If it’s warm and you want to go for a run - nope. I had some issues with them in the 85+ range and thought it was a connection issue. I read more reviews of the same issue. Went to the beach and it was 90 every day, I would get maybe 2-3 songs before they shut off and I was no longer able to turn them on without them turning back off within a minute. Major flaw, and I would have purchased a different product if I had known. 2 out of 5 stars because of that. Big disappointment for 200 dollar earbuds when cheaper no-name ear buds don’t have that issue.”

Most users have given favorable reviews on Bose soundsport free earbuds, which shows that it is a good earbuds. However, no earphone is perfect, and it still has some shortcomings, such as overpriced, its volume is too large that earbuds falling easily from the ear during a workout and not comfortable enough to wear. If you want to find headphones that are suitable for a variety of scenes, cost-effective and comfortable to wear in the market, Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphone is a good recommendation.
