“So, these are my first foray into bone conduction.. I had a traditional ear bud player, but it died after the first recharge so I returned it and tried these. Ear buds definitely provide better, more discrete sound, while these can be heard when playing away from you body. The idea is that they’re held in place by your goggle strap, but that affected goggle fitment and it takes me several laps to get them positioned acceptability.. I’m not a fast swimmer by any means, but I’ve found water flow will move them from time to time forcing you to constantly reposition them. I’ve tried capturing them between swim caps (one under, one over) but gave up trying to make that work. I think the ideal is a dedicated strap just for the player but haven’t found something that works yet.. Bottom line, they work. Excellent battery life. They’re sealed so damage from water (my normal pool is salt water too!) is not a problem. Sound is ok - but not a good as ear buds. Fitment may create some challenges for some.”

“Searched mightily on the h2audio website, their solutions videos and on Amazon to no avail. Not obvious how to load podcasts from apple Podcasts on my Macbook air. Submitted a question to h2audio helpdesk. Maybe they will respond? 1 star.

Well, they responded and quickly. 3 stars. Apparently, Apple has made it difficult to convert podcast files into mp3. The work around is relatively simple using Player FM app to hold your podcasts and then click and drop them using the Player FM Download functionality.

Audio quality is never great while swimming with any device. But, these mastoid speakers are pretty good. I get most of the content of the podcasts. Try using the speakers with the included ear plugs to quiet the water noise.”

“I've been using Finis for over 10yrs now and decided to try these since my last pair of finis broke after 5yrs.

I have been very impressed thus far with these waterproof headphones!! granted, I've only used them a few times now but the sound quality is fantastic and I would say better than finis when it comes to the bass. The cabling seems to be assembled well, since this is usually what breaks after long use.. I'll see how long they last however they seem to have been manufactured well. If you are seeking some mp3 swim phones these are a great choice.. fyi, I am not using the BT.. just downloaded a bunch of mp3 songs...”

“This thing is pretty legit. As a Garmin Fenix user, I was not excited about sticking my watch in my cap, but I also found the Spotify download ripping sites to be sketchy at best to upload music directly to the device. What was my solution? I ebay-ed a cheap(ish) used Garmin vivoactive 3(?) music that can down 300+ Spotify songs for offline play. I'm total in abt $160 which was ~$100 cheaper than the mini-iPod touch option that gets not great reviews. The headphone ease of use are a HUGE upgrade from the ear bud types. Also, I don't have any connect/reconnect issues when my Garmin was in my cap. Overall - a hacky job to get my Garmin near enough to my head (wish they had a better goggle strap situation like with the apple watch mount) but overall pretty impressed with the sound quality/ease of use so far. Ill update if anything changes. (PS the company should make a lil goggle zipper pouch that would fit these watches/other players without the arm bands for people who just use a backup watch and keep their main watches on their wrists)”

“Not sure if others have had success on Mac or with their windows devices, but I was unsuccessful. I first tried my desktop windows 10 pc, all I got was a "Removable device G:\" and my computer was unable to actually access the device. I tried my laptop, also windows 10, at first I saw the h20 sonar device, I was able to access the preloaded two songs that were already on that device, but when I tried to upload my own music, I ran into problems. My laptop crashed when I tried to upload a 2 minute song onto the device, instead of seeing the device listed as "H20 sonar" it now switched to the same "removable device" as my desktop said. Normally I'd think there was something wrong with my drivers but this happened on both my desktop and laptop. I was unable to find any drivers online to try and install. Overall my hypothesis is that this device just doesn't work on Windows operating system. Very annoying considering this costed me around $100.”

“Sound doesn’t change or go away like ear buds under pressure.

Battery could last longer but I’ve spent upwards of 3 hours in the water. I swim 2 miles open ocean sometimes and were fine.

The shuffle protocol could be better as I get repeats when I know some others haven’t been played.

Pay no attention to people dogging on the connection. Yes sometimes it crashes my iTunes. Just restart iTunes and be patient. As others say once connected don’t bump or touch them as they are only holding with magnets and the slightest bump may disconnect them.

I would and have recommended them. I’m looking forward to a new updated version if it comes.”

“The reason I decided to purchase these waterproof headphone were for lap swimming which I do 5 days a week. The issue I immediately ran into on the first day is that once your head penetrates any part of water it causes the headphones to stop working. Once out of the water, it takes another 5-10 seconds for the music to begin playing again. With the fact that I only take 30 seconds or less to rest, it makes the headphones nearly pointless. This is something I feel should be made aware to all potential buyers due to the fact they say it can be used for lap swimming. Unless you’re able to keep you’re head completely out of the water during a swim, I suggest looking somewhere else. Very disappointed, and for the price I expected much more.”

“Great product for swimming! Being able to connect/secure it to goggles is a great feature. Throwing these on and floating in a lazy river is so far the most relaxing experience I have ever had. Sometimes can get too loud and drowns out surroundings(Functioning As Designed). Kids can even hear the music underwater. Trying to lower the volume can be difficult. Easy to charge. Kids want them now, so need to wait for a lightning deal or find something cheaper.”

“I've been using these waterproof headphones for the past 10 lap-swim workouts and they work great. The battery life was about 7 hours or so of accumulated times. Each time you turn it on, it gives you a 'battery level' indication... the only complaint I have is that it went from 50% to 'low battery' in half an hour and then gave me a low battery reminder every few minutes for the remainder of my workout. Otherwise a decent set of headphones.”

“I have to say, Amazon is so customer orientated I will reorder until mfg gets it right. The waterproof headphones do offer alot and options wise, I haven't found a good comparable.

USB Does not properly communicate with Windows10 PC ( s ) 1st item loaded music but stopped working after 1 day. I reordered ordered and the replacement doesnt communicate , indicates unit is faulty. I HAVE RETRIED CONNECTing TO 4 different PC’s , 1 PC is brand new IBM. Windows can’t repair the item. All my other usb products plug in to my pc’s and are working fine.

The unit is charging, but no uploading capabilities. I am stuck with MP3s initially loaded.

I have used it, sounds nice , battery great, comfort decent. If they can format the drives correctly - it’s a winner. I will return and try again but I will buy the extended warranty - thats for sure.”
