“I have been using waterproof MP3 players for over 20 years the photo here is some of the units that have burnt out! Made by one of The Originators of waterproof MP3 players ( Finisl) Inc.) I feel that this allows me to be a very good critic of any waterproof MP3 players and this one is the best one I've ever used ! The build quality is amazing... as you can see in the bottom unit ~ remnants of the blue waterproof string that I had to use to tie it to my straps because they didn't allow enough room for hooking it on larger straps that are on snorkels. This unit fits on my strap perfectly and slides on easily.. However I did spray a little alcohol on (the strap) so it's slipped in the groove with no problem. All in all this is the best unit I've ever seen! As a side note the customer service is totally amazing...”

“I swim laps. I wanted to be able to listen to an audiobook or music while swimming. I discovered two major flaws with these. With bone-conducting headphones (and I suspect this is true of all of them), the sound changes dramatically when your head is in the water and out. So while stroking (I mostly swim breast stroke) the sound gets softer and louder and easier and harder to understand as my head comes up out of the water and then back in.

Specific to these headphones is that the wired connection that allowed me to put things on them and take them off just stopped working (I use an iMac and they seem to be VERY PC-oriented). I can't change what's on there anymore. In addition, there's no way to set the playback order. They just play in whatever order they're sorted when they're added.

Overall I feel like these were pretty much a total waste of my money since (a) they're incredibly frustrating and (b) I now cannot change what's on the MP3 player.”

“I first tried ear buds-I LOVED them but the player I bought wasn’t compatible with iTunes music so I bought this one. I put them on the outside of my cap and can hear the music very well. I’ve asked several swimmers around me if they can hear it, even one gal who was sharing a lane with me, they can not! I want to try putting some ear plugs in to see how it is then.

Works great with iTunes music. Super easy to charge and to add music…and to operate.”

“The swim headphones feel apart after only 3 sessions of 30 minute laps. I tried to contact customer service and they didn’t even respond. The headphones were difficult to load with music as well. Very disappointed and ended up paying the big $300 for Zygo and very glad I did.”

“I bought this swim headphone for swimming and they have been great so far! I find it more motivating swimming with music. These require you to be wearing goggles to use so keep that in mind as it can not be used for other activities. The memory storage is 8GB which is plenty for mp3s but it also has bluetooth. I recommend sticking to the in memory storage because the bluetooth will be affected by the water. The battey life is working well for me and I do not have to charge it for a few days. I hope they review helps you”

“I did a bit of research online for swim headphones and ended up buying these. Yes there is less bass underwater but I think they sound great. Battery life is great too. It was a little tricky adding songs to the MP3 player but everything in my iTunes was able to transfer. Very comfortable to swim with while doing laps. I’d certainly buy them again!”

“I absolutely love the sound and feel of these buds! It made swimming very fun and easier to pass the time. The only bad things that I would have to say is that it wasn't extremely clear that the bluetooth connection only worked for smart watches. I did learn that out the hard way, but I was able to get help on how to download and add music to it and I was able to use it without bluetooth. I was helped by a very nice customer service rep named Joe, I just wanted to shout him out and thank him. Overall, very satisfied with this product!”

“I got these not sure what to expect, and turns out the work really well. The sound quality once in the water is just great. My only complaint is that I am having problems managing the music that I am trying to download into the headphones...the device does not always show up on my computer correctly, costing them a star.”

“I use it for swimming in my gym and its Perfect. I Already used it like 4-5 Hours and still 50%. I love to listen to Podcasts with my watch and the headphones. Easy to Connect and Good Sound quality. Listen to actual Titels vía Bluetooth is really Great Feature. I just put my watch on my swimming goggles.
Perfect! And worth the Price.”

“I have a Macbook Pro. When I plug the headphones in they appear momentarily. Then they disappear with a message that they were ejected incorrectly. This happens every time within 20 seconds. And each time I find that the headphones have turned themselves on when connected to the computer. Per the instructions the headphones must be off in order to sync. I turn them off and try again. They turn themselves on as soon as I plug them in and then the sync ends again.
Bluetooth will only broadcast 2 INCHES underwater. That is per their own description. Guess I could strap my phone to the back of my head and make these paperweights work that way.
update: Returned these things. Purchased the Syryn here on Amazon. Got it next day. Had it charged, loaded and in the pool with no problems. Just skip straight to that one instead.”

These are some real reviews from H20 Audio Sonar users. On the whole, it is still a good product, but there are still some problems, such as it's function is not perfect,MP3 mode is inconvenient to use. There are some products with better performance and higher cost performance in the market, such as Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction, which is a good substitute.

It is a swimming headphone worthy of your consideration. Although its name is Hi Runner,it has an IPX8 waterproof rating higher than the industry standard, which allows it to work normally during swimming and diving. This also shows that it has many use cases and high practicability. It can be used not only for swimming, but also for activities of daily life, such as running, hiking.

Hi Runner uses a 5.0 Bluetooth chip for smoother connectivity. However, when you use Bluetooth mode while swimming, because there is still a certain distance between the connected device and the headphone,so the connection may be poor and the sound will be intermittent.Don't worry,Hi Runner equipped with 32G built-in storage, which can store 5000 songs, and supports two working modes of Bluetooth and MP3. In the scene of underwater sports or without a mobile phone, you can completely use it as a Bluetooth MP3 player. Its battery life is very strong, it can be used continuously for 10 hours, and it supports magnetic fast charging, which takes only 2 hours to fully charge.

When it comes to fit and comfort, the Wissonly Hi Runner features an adjustable aerospace-grade titanium frame that can accommodate different head sizes and also works well with swimming glasses and swimming caps, ensuring a stable fit. The headphone surface is made of high-tech, low-sensitivity silicone material, free from any chemical components, to avoid allergic reactions. The overall feel of the headphones is as smooth as a baby's skin, preventing discomfort during extended wear. Moreover, weighing less than 30g, they are lightweight and won't feel burdensome.

As early as 10 years ago, Wissonly's team began to research headphones that do not hurt the ear, and introduced bone conduction technology into the field of headphones. So this is a brand you can trust.
