“Ever since the airpods launched, I have always invested in their products. Recently, I wanted a change! I wanted something that I wouldn't loss easily and most importantly had durable battery life. I tested these out at Best Buy and was fascinated by the sound quality. I am so glad I found them here! These are economic and the quality is amazing! I have gone a total of two weeks not having to charge them (in use 2 hours minimum a day). I would also like to share I am not a fan of sound cancellation. Sound relaxes me. This was perfect because it conserves very little but enough. Lastly, when I take them off I can hear the music pretty loud. Doesn't bother me because in a gym everyone has headphones on. To each there own, hope this helps!”

“I feel like I could wear these headphones for hours! Can't speak to the battery life yet but they are verrry comfortable. Decent bass, maybe a little tinny at times. Sound does bleed but that's other people's problem amiright haha. Bought them for the gym, mostly so that no one tries to talk to me. So far I loved wearing them and dancing around. Overall very happy, like the look too!”

“Outstanding sound at an affordable price. Some have had issues with durability. I haven’t. I don’t think these are Bluetooth 5.0 because if you walk away from your phone the sound cuts out. Besides that, if you keep your phone near by, these are excellent headphones.

Update:

The range of the Bluetooth is good for home. If you go to a big gym and your phone is on the opposite side, the sound will cut out. But the Bluetooth is practical for most situations.”

“I am glad it was on sale. I always like skull candy way back 90’s. The sound is good and the appearance as well. Light weight and connects easily. Tried iphone, android and laptop. For me sound cancelling doesnt really matter as I need to be aware with my surroundings as well. You can always use earphones that goes deep into your ear anyways.”

“These are great headphones. The only problem is every set I have purchased have broke! It’s the headset that’s really cheap. It just snaps in half too easily. I went to take them of and they snapped! They have gone up in price but honestly it’s not worth buying them if they keep breaking. I would invest in a better pair that is worth the money. I’m tired of buying headphones every other month. Ridiculous”

“I needed a pair of on - ear headphones due to have irritated ears. I mainly wanted something for short walks home and the gym. I used these headphones at the gym and they did a good job at blocking out the overly loud music at the gym without my music being distorted. I have not used it on the street just yet. Comfort was not too bad, my ears were quite sweaty but this could be due to my work out. Sound quality is good just enough bass for me.

A decent pair of headphones for the price. My only gripe is Skullcandy should have included a carry case or even a carry bag, to protect the product when out and a about. I feel it's a little disappointing not to have this included. Overall I am happy with my headphones, a good purchase.”

“Didn’t want to break the bank on headphones for the gym. These more than exceeded my expectations. Great sound quality, great bass. They feel lighter than beats solo models, but I have a larger head(7 3/4) and they fit great. Ear cushions are lightweight and don’t leave marks or trap sweat. Overall would highly recommend for gym headphones!”

“traditionally I'm not a huge fan of the Skullcandy brand, I felt like they were a little cheap. However I bought this pair for vacation because I did not have headphones and I found that they are a decent quality headphone. I think for 50 bucks this is a headphone that you can listen to music on and take to the gym. I gave them to a friend because she liked them so much.”

“I bought these blue ones in a store and my boy loved it so much that I had to ask him for some in black so he wouldn't take them off all the time!

The battery lasts a long time, perfect sound quality, very comfortable and great for walking at night because it takes the cold out of your ears!

I recommend it 100%”

“I experimented with many headphones, including quite expensive ones, and eventually gravitated towards the Riff wireless for daily use. I wanted to be able to hear around me, so noise cancelling wasn't needed. Also, especially for warm summer days, I didn't want over-ear so they would be cooler and less sweaty. I wear glasses, so pinching my ears (or around my ears) with much pressure gets uncomfortable within a few hours. These were great in that the sound was good (I like a little boosted bass), they didn't pinch my ears with too much pressure, and the nice pillowly ear pads were comfortable all day. The hard headband was uncomfortable over time, but I solved that with a strip of self adhesive rubber foam (meant for weather stripping). I was happy wearing these all day every day.

But within 6 months the head strap broke (just like shown in other review pictures). I ordered another pair and was very careful to only open them as far as needed to barely get them over my ears. But they again broke in less than 6 months. Unless they redesign the headband with a metal strip or something more durable, I'll have to start over to find something else with comparable comfort and sound. Maybe I'll try the Sony CH-520.

Update: I did try the Sony CH-520, and so far am very happy with them. They have an equalizer, so I was able to boost the bass to my taste. The battery life is way, way better. They are light and comfortable, the headband is padded and feels fine. And they allow two bluetooth connections, so if I get a phone call it automatically switches to my phone, which is pretty nice. I haven't had them long enough to say for sure, but the headband seems more substantial and durable than the Riffs. They are a bit more expensive, but if you can afford them, they seem totally worth it. They also have a smartphone app that lets you do the equalization, and customize them to your ears. Sorry Skullcandy, but I gave you a second chance and you blew it.”

The above is the user's real review of Skullcandy riff wireless headphones. It can be seen that it is a good headphones for the gym with good sound quality. However, it also has some shortcomings. Some users said that its headphone band is easy to broke and needs to be treated with care. Its heavy earmuffs can easily cause discomfort to the ears and head. And it is easy to be sultry and sweaty in summer, which is something to pay attention to for this headphone without waterproof performance. If you expect to find a more cost-effective,comfortable to wear and has waterproof performance alternative headphone, Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphone is a good choice.
