“You’ve just arrived and your first impressions are great! Bought used from Amazon Warehouse and arrived practically new, the headphones come with a very nice box, and are located inside the cloth bag, which will also be used to store them safely when we don’t use them. Excellent materials, headphones absolutely well assembled and of excellent workmanship, very beautiful aesthetically, quality cable with remote control and microphone also tried on call and they felt great. “Leaving aside the fashion factor, which I don’t care about, these Beats are excellent headphones for those who listen to music from their smartphones. Thanks to the low impedance and good sensitivity, they allow a good volume to be obtained, which is not always possible with other headphone models. The sound is of quality, a little emphasized in the bass as typical users of this type of product like but without exaggerations heard with other models.

Great microphone, it works very well and those who receive phone calls more than once told me that they hear great audio.

Perhaps they are not worth the full price (about 90 euros) but if, like me, you take them on offer for less than 50 euros, they can be an excellent purchase for a young man sensitive to the charm of the brand. “My review is pretty mixed. It worked for a bout 3 months and in that period it worked fine. In fact for its price the sound quality is actually pretty decent. However mine lost the signal to the left ear cup and was rendered pretty much useless after 3 months. At this point I would of given it a one star but thankfully apple are making these headphones. Getting these repaired or replaced was a breeze and didn’t cost a penny. I didn’t even have to go out. That is why I’m rating it 3 our of 5. Good headphones if they last you but even if they don’t, apple have you covered.”

“Excellent sound quality, good materials but there are some clarifications to make:

- the dimensions are small, which in my case does not cover the ears perfectly, even if the sound insulation is acceptable. However, after about an hour of use, the headphones start to become annoying and not particularly comfortable.

- another necessary clarification: the microphone is excellent, it works well, however the volume scales will be practically useless unless you are in possession of an Apple product; which (being owner of any Android product) it bothers me a lot.

Conclusion:

: Would I still have bought the EPS all a if I had known what I just mentioned first? No, I probably would have been less carried away by the brand and the offer of the moment and I would have fallen back on something certainly more functional.”

“The headphones are relatively stable and the sound is also relatively ok. The cable length is sufficient, but the cable is very thin and therefore also very sensitive. “They are Beats but probably the cheapest model. For what I paid them, they are still valid (less than 50 euros) I sound rather adjusted on the pasty bass. Loud sounds don’t… play! Good external noise isolation. Light but in my opinion resistant. Ergonomic and good to look at.

The package is complete despite being a warehouse product. They practically seem to be leaving the store. Can’t find a sign or something that’s hard to think they were used. I tried the questions with the phone reader, so a more correct assessment of the I am taken to be made to have tried them on the system. Anyway, I’m Beats, so I buy absolutely right.”

“As the title suggests, the headphones have problems when connected to XBOX ONE. In fact, these types of headphones have a type of 3.5 jack connector that has the order of the connections (ground, left channel, right…) different from all other headphones. This thing happens on Beats headphones and Apple headphones.

So when you connect these headphones to the controller you hear a loud whistle and therefore they are unusable. It is not reported anywhere on the Beats website. On other Beats models it is possible to solve the problem by buying another standard 3.5mm cable but on these the cable cannot be detached.

However, the headphones have good bass and are generally comfortable to wear, so if you don’t use them on X-box they are a good buy.”

“I bought these as a birthday gift for my son and nearly four months on, my son reports these sound and feel excellent. He listens to both music and uses them for gaming too.

Some games rely on atmospheric sounds and music and these perform well in this area. Footsteps coming up behind you then become footsteps in front of you when you turn your character round 180 degrees. That’s good programming but the headphones (or speakers) need to be able to translate that information and provide that immersive experience.

I’ve not ticked noise cancellation because they don’t have that feature and I don’t think they have a separate volume control.”

“First pair stopped working on one side and Amazon replaced with another pair which have now also stopped working on one side, both pairs going faulty in less than a year. Amazon have refused to replace them under warranty for a third time and instead have asked me for £124.12 to repair them, despite a new pair currently costing £70 on Amazon.

Update: Emailed Amazon customer relations regarding the above and they have supported me with the cost of replacing the headphones and a goodwill gesture. Whilst the product quality is not great I cannot fault the Amazon customer relations team for their support.”
