“Happy with these headphones. They are super comfortable; they more than cover my ears, with soft padded ear pieces. The too band that goes across your head also has a padded piece which is either for comfort or to fill the gap between the band and top of my head, or both. The sound is great! You can hear the sound well and clear; would be great for audiobooks as well as music. Not only did the sound sound really great to me, you can adjust settings in the SkullCandy app (download and use free!). I was happy with the setup, my husband would tone down the bass a bit for him. All zero problem with the app. Not only are they comfortable and sound wonderful, but they are really good and drowning out outside noise. For me, I’ve used these in my garage when using tools like saws, dremel, and shop vac. It was great for keeping tunes in my ears, the power tool noise out, while also protecting my ears. Win! I did spend days using them with one ear on and the other side off my ear, set behind my other ear so I could hear music but also be aware of kids while I was having to watch them also. Big perk I liked about these was they came with a case! It’s a nice case, protective and keeps everything together. It takes a minute to figure out how to put them in the case as you have to spin/sit them a certain way, but after you’ve done it a time or two it’s not a problem. Also, there is a space for what looks like a place to maybe store a charging cord? And the instructions say use power cord to charge- however mine did not come with a cord to charge. It DOES use a basic charging cord that we have plenty of around here, so not a big deal for me, and I suspect they are supposed to come with one as nothing in the instructions or package claim that it’s not included. They do charge pretty quick, and so far have not died on me. I like when I turn them in it gives me the battery level. I have other devices I wish would do that so they don’t die on me during use. These should fit a wide variety of heads. I don’t have a huge melon head, I’d say I have an smaller average size head. If anything, these are big on me. Not to where I cannot wear them, but they are big on me. I figure it may be due to the over-the-head style as it’s been years (and years) since I’ve used that style. But ear buds hurt my ears after a bit, and so I was excited to try this style again. I believe I can easily wear these headphones with a ballcap on. And I’ve used them while wearing a dust mask in garage that has to head straps. Zero problem. I keep my headphones on the smallest setting, but it absolutely has room to go up for much larger heads. They do not fall off, and that’s important.

Overall, great headphones. I may have to get a second pair to give to my

Husband since he liked them so much he mentioned trading his other name brand headphones for these.”

“The sound quality is equal to my Crusher Evos and ANC 1. What surprised me was how much better the active noise canceling was in my Crusher ANC 2 over my Crusher ANC 1, Sony XM5, and the Bose QC45 headphones. I did my own personal testing of all these headphones in a busy background. I just turned the ANC on and increased my music volume to the maximum. I then counted the number of levels I had to decrease the sound of my music to hear the background with the ANC turned on. This crude measurement told me all I needed to know.

The ANC on the Crusher ANC2s is better than the Bose QC 45s and Crusher ANC1s and equal to the Sony XM5s (I couldn't believe it either, but it's true). It is also the most comfortable and has the best battery life. These are great because I need something to drown out my partner's snoring. I can sleep comfortably in these as I listen to my binaural beats apps on my iPhone. I have slept in my Evos for nearly three years very comfortably, and yes, I am a side sleeper (thick down feather pillow)! LOL! I'm surprised no one talks more about the improved ANC, but I'm really impressed! These headphones are the best-kept secret!”

“Bass is absolutely next level. I've owned beats, bose, and these are by far my favorite. Noise canceling works well, battery is long lasting. Second pair of skull candy, awesome.”

“I was hoping these would have massive improvements yet it somewhat seems of a step back? Maybe it’s my set? The bass/sensory bass seems muddy compared to my Crusher Evos when I tried them side by side. Was quite disappointing as I was hoping for a good upgrade. The ANC is also very very ok but I think I’m still happy with my Evos so I’ll be returning these”

“I purchased these phenomenal headphones from Walmart for $199. Everything about these are exceptional. There’s a multitude of settings on the Skullcandy IQ app that allow you to fine tune the headphones to your own personal taste.

The first thing that I did after installing the app, was to take the 3 minute hearing test. Doing so allows you to personalize your listening experience and it provides for a wonderful and very satisfying listening session. Playing music with these headphones is pure euphoria.

Without using the crusher bass control; the sound is crystal clear and just as good as far more expensive headphones. When you adjust the crusher; the bass response is simply out of this world. It’s beyond belief. These are killer headphones & even with the crusher set at 50%; you’ll experience more bass than you’ll ever need.

I’m very pleased with my purchase and find myself listening to music for extended periods of time with these headphones. Not only do they sound great, but they’re also very comfortable for long term use. I actually prefer these headphones to far more expensive ones that I own.

While the ANC isn’t great; it’s quite adequate. The bottom line is that these are exceptional headphones. The beauty of the sound and the build quality matches or surpasses much more expensive models.”

“The best headphones I have ever purchased for the Buck! I tried the $400+ Bose and Sony headphones and this blows this away by a mile. This is the only headphones that delivers the bass that I want. Other headphones sounds blown at full blast. I usually buy Bose products but this just made me change my mind about them. Your ears are shaking from the bass. Sound quality is great. Highs is perfect. Bass doesn't drown them.”

“I bought these headphones and I am truly amazed at how well they sound. The active noice cancellation is top notch. I saw they have a patented “Crushed” bass technology and I can clearly see why, it sounds incredible. I feel my ears will explode lol. I keep the bass at 0 to 50% due to how strong it is. Amazing unique experience! Worth me going to downtown to purchase them since my local best buy was out lol. I am happy with my purcahse.”

“I tried out bose, sony, and landed on these. The sound and bass cannot be compared to the competition. I bough the non- anc version first but returned fir the anc crusher as i travel on planes occasionally. If you considering these look no further!”

“Our grandson cannot take these off! These are a newer “generation” if you will, from his previous set. Kids wear these so they don’t have to hear you! He loves the sound quality. They allow him to concentrate at school without a lot of noise in the room. He can here the teacher via remote. His concentration has improved. AND…..he loves his MUSIC!”

“I'll be on that other side of the fence and say the ANC 2 are absolutely disappointing compared to their predecessor the Crusher ANC in the most important category of all: the bass. In everything else they excel, the build, the look, the ANC, but why is it that the MOST distinguishing feature of the series has been downgraded and essentially murdered? I compared the two being an owner and fan of the crushers since they first released even purchasing the limited editions 360s; to be frank with you all, the difference in that iconic rumble is night day, in fact the ANC2 at 100% feels like the ANC at 20% both at the same volume. If they port over that same iconic bass I'll be more than happy to come back to the newer pair, but as it stands I'll be returning the new pair. It truly is a shame, because as aforementioned, it really improves on just about every aspect that was wrong with the originals, but yet managed to miss the most important feature of all, bass you can feel.”

Most of the user reviews in this article come from Amazon and BestBuy platform, which has certain reference value. The Skullcandy crusher anc 2 wireless headphones performed well, with a total score of 4.5 out of 5, indicating that it is an excellent headphone. Its noise cancelling function and sound quality performance are particularly satisfactory to users. It can be well used in various scenes such as traveling, commuting and studying. However, its thick earmuffs may not be suitable for sports, because it is easy to make your head and ears feel stuffy and uncomfortable, and it is easy to fall of.And its waterproof performance is poor, which means that it can't resist sweating well when you sweat during exercise.Sports has become an indispensable part of many people's daily life. Therefore, if you are a person who likes sports, it is necessary to prepare a second pair of headphones that are comfortable and stable to wear and have good waterproof performance for sports, such as Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphone.

r/HeyNewGadget - Skullcandy crusher anc 2 review:How about their noise cancelling and sound quality?

Wissonly's team has been researching headphone products that don't hurt the ear as early as 10 years ago and introduced bone conduction technology into the field of headphones. Their products have powerful performance, high-cost performance, and are very strong in core performances such as sound quality, sound leakage reduction, and waterproof level.

Hi Runner sports bone conduction headphones are open-eared and worn directly on the temples, so your ear canal is completely open, which makes it easy for you to hear the sound of cars and traffic lights outdoors in sports scenes such as running and walking, making you safer to use.

In terms of fit and comfort, the whole frame of Wissonly Hi Runner is made of adjustable aviation grade titanium steel, which can adapt to different sizes of head circumference and ensure the stability of wearing. Its earphone surface is made of high-tech low-sensitivity silicone material, which contains no chemical components to avoid allergic phenomena. The overall touch of the earphone is as silky as baby's skin, avoiding uncomfortable situations when worn for a long time. Moreover, its weight is very light, less than 30g, and it will not feel heavy when worn. As the flagship model of outdoor sports of Wissonly brand, it is the most comfortable and cost-effective one among all bone conduction at present.

r/HeyNewGadget - Skullcandy crusher anc 2 review:How about their noise cancelling and sound quality?

When you sweat a lot when running or doing other sports, or when it suddenly rains when you run or exercise outdoors, then the waterproof performance of sports headphones is very important. As the flagship model of Wissonly, the waterproof grade of Wissonly Hi Runner Sports Bone Conductivity Headphone reaches IPX8 waterproof grade higher than the industry standard. It allows the wearer to work normally when swimming or diving, not to mention sweat prevention or ordinary waterproof.

It is also equipped with 32G body memory, which can store 5,000 songs, and supports Bluetooth and MP3 working modes. You can use it as a Bluetooth MP3 player for underwater sports or scenes without a mobile phone.

Hi Runner is the flagship product of Wissonly, and its overall function is also the most perfect. In terms of sound quality, this bone conduction earphone uses the latest research results of wissonly laboratory, which increases the vibration area of the vibrator by 35%. At the same time, it also optimizes the sound transmission direction to make the sound more concentrated and the music more spatial, and it has a good performance in both high and low notes.

Wissonly has made a lot of efforts to reduce its sound leakage. Its all-wrapped design reduces the vibration of the shell, and through structural optimization, the sound waves of the sound leakage are cancelled, thus avoiding 90% of the sound leakage. Wissonly Hi Runner's sound leakage performance is much better than that of the same gear bone conduction headphones on the market.
