“So I work in auto glass industry as a mobile service specialist and so with that I am working in parking lots, side of roadways, customer driveway at their residences, etcetera and when it comes to my occupation being able to multi task at times is a big deal, I like the sound quality of this headset plus the discreet look of them. The way that the sound is transmitted at first for a new user takes time because I will agree its an unusual technology but once you get used to it you will like them as much as I do. They are light weight and have great battery life. Plus if you have even a little difficulty hearing using regular headphones you will find with these and the bone constructing technology the sound and ability to hear with this item will be a game changer for the better.”

“Very happy with this purchase. I needed to be able to watch tv without disturbing my house mates early in morning or late at night and these for the bill very well. Good sound, easy to learn controls. They fit me even with my glasses on, which i didn’t expect. If you have trouble with the band spacing in the back, just rotate them up or down, then you can lean your head back against something without the hearing part moving away from your ear. The only thing i had a little trouble with was finding the charging port. It’s under a swing away panel beside the volume up/ power button as shown in the first photo. Not sure about battery life, because I’m a compulsive charger lol, but they seem to have good life so far.

“I purchased a pair of Openrun a couple of years ago. Great sound, great bass. I did go over a year without using them (and charging them), so I was sad to find that the battery was unable to hold a charge when I rediscovered them. I’ve been using them connected to a cord at all times (which gets annoying when it shuts off the moment you unplug.) This was really my own fault as all rechargeable items should not be neglected, lest the battery stop retaining a charge. I decided to buy a new pair of Shockz and saw many great reviews for the Openmove running headphone, so I max the purchase. Arrived today…I am SO disappointed. The sound is nowhere near the quality of the Openrun. It is very tinny with almost no base. The fit is very awkward as well. If you are new to conductive headphones, maybe you will be okay with the Openmove. I am absolutely not. Just started a return and ordered a new pair of the Openrun (I actually opted for Pro. I’ll write a comparison review when I get them.) The sound quality is so much better to the point where I am sitting here listening to music on my cord-dependent Openruns while typing this review. It’s not worth the cheaper cost for the Openmove if you care about sound quality”

“They were good running, hiking and everyday use. Handled sweat well (and I sweat a lot). Good sound quality on phone calls with no complaints from callers.

Made it just over a year before they finally quit (June 22 — July 23). Went on a 7 mile hike and heard some static a couple times. Turned it off when I got home and then it wouldn’t come back on or even light up when I tried to charge it.

Got a new one coming but may upgrade to the Open-run or even the Open-swim next. Lithium polymer vs lithium ion battery may be worth the extra money.”

“I have always struggled with headphones… too hot and clammy or just a real pain in The ear! These Shokz are FANTASTIC! So easy to use… They don’t fall out, they don’t make my ears hot and sweaty. “If you are looking for a great set of running bone conduction headphones these are the ones. However they do not stay in place very good. They do not fall off, but they slide around when I move my head. I wish the strap was adjustable. If you want great bass these are not the ones the sound is excellent for audiobooks and talk, but the music is kinda flat. Other than those issues the bone conduction tech really works. I am impressed and I have noticed a difference in my tinnitus it has not gotten worse like I noticed with earbuds.”

“I started running about 3 months ago, and I wanted to be able to listen to my surroundings and music. These work perfectly! They don’t move on your head, sound is good, and I can still talk and hear at the same time. I tried them on at my local running shop first, so I knew what I was buying, but still very pleased! I use my Garmin watch to listen to music, and they paired easily, and they last a good amount of time! I do charge between every other run (2–3mi) just in case though.”

“I liked these a lot at first, the only issue was that the band is too big for my head BUTits been less than 3 months since the date of purchase and the sound quality is terrible. It warbles in and out, and is so low I have to shove the earpiece practically into my ear to hear what is being said. Then, while trying to fill out the warranty form, the site kicked me out. I started a chat and it said no agents were available. So, I called the number and got a recording that said their phone lines are down- and referred me back to the chat!

So I went back in and got the warranty request submitted, but it also says you have to register the item- but there is no obvious place on the site to do that. So at this point I don’t know what will happen, even if they so send a new pair the experience has been terrible.”
