“Good upper middle tier earbud at the low tier price. Comfortable amount of bass thump, reasonable pairing, touch controls work as intended. I found a solid fit that holds during exercise. The waterproofing is nice but don’t expect underwater swimming connectivity.

Sound quality performs well. Soundstage not too tight, I like the balance—can hear lows mids highs well.

Holds charge well, happy with the purchase overall.”

“Sound quality from these earbuds is pretty good. I enjoy using them mostly for outside exercise. They connect automatically and have presented no issues.

I actually bought them looking for a pair that wouldn't fall out of my ears easily. These work pretty well, but I still lost one recently. I have jury-rigged an approach to adding a retained strap, but it would be nice if the manufacturer made room in the case closure to allow for a strap to flow out without interfering with the on/off/charging mechanism. Attaching and reattaching a retainer strap is time-consuming and a bit annoying.”

“Ideally headphone should connect once removed from its box. not the case with this one, it connects once you open the box, meaning you open the box and the headphone is connected without even pulling it out. same when you place it back, it keeps connecting until you close the charging box door.

This means that if the door is broken for any reason, there will be no way to disconnect from the mobile unless you unpair or disconnect manually.

Also i am used to put the ear buds in the charging box, and whatever i am playing stops automatically, in our situation here, it continues to play until you close the charging box.

One more con, the ear buds can fall in a strong move, not holding itself tight although it has this rubber wings, its not helping!”

“Caught these wireless earbuds and I have been very pleased with them. I have been using them for a few days and these have been my thoughts so far:

- They feel sturdy and decently made.

- Battery life is good. I have not used them for more than 100 hours yet, but I have used them a couple of days on-and-off throughout an 8 hour work day, and did not have to recharge them in between.

- They are comfortable. Choosing the right plug size, my ears did not feel sore at all after extended use. I did some yard work with them as well, and they stayed put, keeping a good seal.

- Sound quality is... OK. I tested several frequencies and the earbuds cover them well. When playing music, I felt like I needed a bit more of the sub-base frequencies in the balance, but that would definitely depend on your personal preferences and music genres you listen to.

- Tap functions are nice and work well after a small learning curve.

- Can't tell Left vs. Right earbud very easily. They put a small L/R letters engraved in the same color. You eventually figure out which one is which based on the shapes and position in the charging box.

Overall, I am glad I got these earbuds and not breaking the bank in the process.”

“This product is well worth the money in my eyes for my needs. Impressive battery life, fine sound quality, somewhat comfortable. My only gripe is that, for videos, the sound appears to be slightly out of sync with the visuals, but for all I know, that could be an issue with my phone. If you use them for music while exercising, like I do, there are no issues.

I am also quite impressed with Tribit’s customer service. After a few months, one of my pairs somehow became damaged, with the right earbud being permanently muted, and Tribit honored the 18 month warranty and sent me a new pair almost immediately no questions asked.

Just remember to clean your ears before use.”

“Airpods and similarly shaped ear buds don't stay in my ears and it's sooo frustrating when I'm at the gym. I've been using headphones with a cord because tbh the EMF exposure from wireless earbuds terrifies me. but after struggling with the cord so much & putting my phone in my bra to exercise hands-free, I realized I'm already allowing EMF exposure straight to my boobs. Fine. Wireless ear buds win.

These are just phenomenal. Amazing sound quality, perfect fit. I keep wearing them and haven't had to charge the case yet. I would purchase these again in a heartbeat.”

“So easy to use I wanted these earbuds to use in the swimming pool where I go for exercise. I do not immerse my head but water does sometimes get splashed in my face and ears. I’ve never had to fear they’ll fall out. A simple tap puts my story on pause so I can talk to people around me and then go right back to my book with another tap. I found it helps to keep my swim bag near the edge of the pool as sometimes I do lose my connection and need to re-pair things. But 99% of the time my hour of swimming is uninterrupted by any glitches from my earbuds.”

“These are awesome ear buds. They play without any delay/ latency so I can watch movies in bed without waking the wife at night. Music is clear and sounds clean.

They also sync right up when they are pulled out so they are super convenient. Phone calls are clear and undisturbed. The battery life lasts for a long time. I rarely have to charge the base.

I also like the adjustable ear pieces. I found the smaller ones were most comfortable for me and they don't fall out when running or doing exercises. I would buy again.”

“For me “squishy” earbuds often will not fit snugly in my ears and fall out easily. But with these, the smallest size of tips they provide fit well and stayed in for an entire workout(cardio+lifting). If you are looking for noise cancellation they are alright, but I wouldn’t call them “noise cancelling” earbuds. For the price sound quality is great.”

“I bought a pair of tribit earbuds previously, best pair i had. These ones are trash.

While the sound and functionality are fine, they messed up something with the Bluetooth. Idk if its a hardware issue or protocol implementation, but every time i used them there was a problem, either with connecting them, having my devices discover this device, or even just staying connected. And this is after having one pair and a second replacement pair. No other Bluetooth device I've ever used with any of my devices has had an issue, except these. I could be listening to music for work and they would just disconnect, and this happened on three different devices. Or my least favorite problem, only one earbud would connect. And the only way to solve that problem was to put them back in the case hold the button to reset the Bluetooth and try again. And the second pair now cannot be found by any device that I use after I press that button.

I really wanted to like these, but they are useless chunks of plastic if they cannot connect to a device consistently. Both pairs are going back, and I am probably done with this brand after this experience. After the second pair had the same issues, it showed me that it wasn't just bad luck on the first pair, it's the design of these and with the amount that I use Bluetooth headphones oh, these are just not worth constantly having to debug”

The above is the real user review of Tribit flybuds 3 earbuds. Generally speaking, it is a good earbuds for wxercise. However, its shortcomings are also obvious:its in-ear design makes it easily uncomfortable and unstable to wear expecially during exercise. Therefore, if you expect to find a more comfortable, durable and more powerful function in the market, the Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphone with open-ear design is worth your consideration.

r/HeyNewGadget - Earbuds for exercise:Tribit flybuds 3 review

Reason for recommendation: Wissonly bone conduction headphones are the fastest growing product in the past six months. Many channel owners recommend it on Youtube, which is a very popular brand for sports fans. Their team is a technical expert in the field of bone conduction headphones, and began developing bone conduction headphones that do not hurt the ear as early as 10 years ago. The product has the characteristics of good sound quality, low sound leakage, high waterproof level, high comfort, high cost performance, etc, and is supported of sports fans.

In terms of comfort, the Wissonly Hi Runner integral frame is made of adjustable aviation-grade titanium steel material, which can adapt to different sizes of head circumference and ensure a stable fit. Its headphone surface is made of high-tech hypoallergenic silicone material, no chemical ingredients to avoid allergies. The overall touch of the headphone is as silky as baby skin, avoiding long-term wear will be uncomfortable. One of its benefits is lightweight, less than 30g, and you won't feel heavy when worn. As the flagship model of outdoor sports of the Wissonly brand, it is the most comfortable and cost-effective one in all bone conduction at present.Hi Runner sports bone conduction headphones are open-ear designed, worn directly on the temple, so your ear canal is completely open, which makes it easy to hear the sound of cars and traffic lights outdoors in sports scenes such as running and walking, making you safer when using it.

Although the name of the Wissonly Hi Runner is Hi runner, it also has a higher IPX8 waterproof rating than the industry standard, allowing it to work normally when swimming and diving, which is a great advantage for it. It is also equipped with 32G body memory, which can store 5000 songs, and supports Bluetooth and MP3. In underwater sports or without a mobile phone, you can use it as a Bluetooth MP3 player.

Its battery life is very strong. And it means you can use it for a long time. You can listen to songs for 10 hours continuously, which makes up for the disadvantages of wireless headphones.

Due to the particularity of the technical principle, bone conduction headphones are more difficult to improve sound quality. Wissonly Hi Runner subverts the traditional sound quality scheme, breaking through the use of large wireframe vibration units. Through structural optimization to increase the effective vibration area, so that the sound has a good performance in both treble and bass.
