Review 1: ★★★★★

JBL  has a simplest app, just click on the few things and you are sorted. To put it in context - JBL app is like apple iPhone simple UI, let's you do your stuff and you wont be lost while walking in the street. But Sony' s app is like Android - you have lots and lots of options and you'll probably use 5-10 settings max but you can get lost when you are walking.

Review 2: ★★★★☆

The built-in microphones are OK and deliver acceptable voice quality. My colleagues sometimes describe it as “a bit potty,” but the JBL over-ears with microphone boom are used to. In any case, the microphone quality is worlds better than standard webcams (e.g. Logitech C920)

It works in principle, but it's not for me for my walking, I get anxious. Low frequencies are filtered excellently, but higher frequencies work like this. You always have the feeling that you have “pressure on your ears.”

The other extreme in JBL is called “Ambient Aware”, in which the spatial sound is recorded by microphones and played back again directly, so that the “shielding” effect of the headphones is reduced. In my opinion, it works a bit too well while walking (i.e. sounds are amplified louder than they would be without the headphones), but the function itself is not annoying.

Review 3: ★★★★☆

After one month using this headphone for walking, I really love it! The autonomy of the headset is extremely pleasant, it has a perfect noise cancellation, it delivers an excellent audio quality. It seemed heavy when I initially saw it due to the quality of the product but it is surprisingly lightweight. I highly recommend this product for walking if you want good quality without being too expensive for the price!

Review 4: ★★☆☆☆

I haven't put the headphones into operation yet, so I can't make any statements. Only one thing: the instructions for use are microscopically small, I can't read them. I certainly don't. Super fast delivery comfortable headphones good sound quality plus virtually nonexistent noise cancellation while using for walking.

Review 5: ★★★★☆

I was pleasantly surprised here. I operate the headphones together with a Class III (100 meter) USB dongle, and that still works through several walls even at the end of the building, i.e. the headphones also send back strong enough so that the transmission does not stop.

All in all, okay. The headphones have automatic detection whether they are being worn or not while walking, and sends pause/resume command to media players. Furthermore, the right auricle is designed as a touch surface and you can answer conversations, for example, by tapping, etc. In my opinion, the surface is too exposed and you can accidentally get hold of it. But it's a matter of getting used to. When you turn on the headphones for walking, they are automatically in “Noise Cancelling” mode, and you have to press twice to deactivate the nonsense.

Review 6: ★★★☆☆

I absolutely love these headphones for walking in daily life. They fit perfectly. The ambient aware is better than any other pair of headphones that I have worn before. The sound is amazing with punchy bass and perfect treble. The side touch buttons are very sensitive, so I have to get used to that while walking, but that is the only growing pain for these. Love them!

Review 7: ★★★★☆

Positive points: comfort, sound insulation, sound quality and battery.

Negative points: does not charge while in use for walking, construction (activates double clicking when moving your head), microphone is delayed when you are in a meeting.

Review 8: ★★★★☆

This earphone has to be the most premium headset ever used for walking! Feels extremely solid in hand and on head, hinges open and close precisely without deviating. Noise cancellation is improving wonderfully with every new generation of headsets. All package with all the cables, plugs needed for traveling. A gorgeous case is also included.

Review 9: ★★★★★

These are the best headphones you can buy under $300 for walking. The noice cancellation is great also the call quality is good. The customization options available in the app makes it sound better. I have purchased it for around $300 on the day of release. The quality of sound is top notch, fits perfectly with no harm on longer use. Gets a bag to travel and walk in the street. Loved it.

Review 10: ★☆☆☆☆

The headset is good but it has some problems, I always have to press a button to remove a noise and on calls the noise comes back and doesn't come out even with the button, because of that it's better to buy another headset used for walking, I also have the 1000XM3 from Sony and it works very well. The good side is that this JBL headset is much nicer than the Sony headset, but the user experience needs to be improved. Maybe in the next version of it it will be much better.

Analyzing the reviews from users, most of the them give this headset a positive rating, but still many of them feel that the user experience of this headset needs to be improved. Because of its sensitive control buttons, when you accidentally touch the buttons while walking, it will automatically stop playing your audio.

Additionally, if you need a headphone to listen to music while walking or doing exercisie, we would recommend you to choose bone conduction headphones with comparable performance to the JBL Tour One M2, especially the Wissonly Hi Runner, and you can get this headphone for only $99.99.

Reasons for recommendation:

I noticed Wissonly bone conduction headphones when they were first crowdfunded online. And later, I saw that some otologists were recommending them on online forums, so I bought them for walking in daily life. This Hi Runner is their flagship product whose overall functionality is also the most perfect.

The headphone use the latest research from the Wissonly lab. It increases the vibrating area of the vibrator by 35% and optimizes the direction of sound transmission to make the sound more concentrated, resulting in a wider range and more spatial of the music. The brand claims that its sound quality is HI-FI level, and I actually tested it myself. I thought that the sound quality was very close to HI-FI level, but it did not reach this level. Of course, the current sound quality is satisfactory enough for me when I use them for walking.

Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphones are also equipped with a new Bluetooth 5.0 chip that has stronger anti-interference ability, that can easily cope with various complex outdoor scenes, and ensures the good mood during walking is not disturbed by disconnection. At the same time, the stable connection also brings low latency performance, and there is no problem in listening to songs, following dramas, and playing games. What's more, they have 32G of built-in memory that can store 5,000 songs. This helps you to enjoy music when you are walking outdoors without your smartphone.

In terms of comfort, the Wissonly Hi Runner performs well, it is very light, only less than 30 grams, and it does not feel any weight to wear while walking. The body is made of titanium alloy which makes it have a good fit, and you don't need to worry about their falling off during walking in the park. The waterproof of the Wissonly Hi Runner deserves special mention, and it is IPX8 grade. It means that you can carry it underwater for up to 20 meters and still use it normally, which is crazy!
