“Sound quality is very nice. I've been limping by with aging earbuds, and it's great to hear the music loud and clear again.

The coil in the wires is a good notion, and keeps the cord up and out of the way. At this point, still new, the coil is so tightly wound that I cannot wear my Syryn player clipped to the shoulder of my suit right now without feeling the tug of the cord--minor, but annoying. I flipped the player up and put it on top of my head, where it rode successfully for my sport. I will probably pick up a headband to which to clip the player when used with these earbuds (I don't use goggles when I swim; if you do, this would be a moot point.)

That having been said, at this price point, I won't be going back to the expensive ones. And the coils may loosen as time goes on, too soon to tell. Overall, recommend.”

“I spent a lot of time trying to find a set of headphones for lap use that were more affordable since no swimming headphone lasts that long with regular use. These checked all the boxes to start even with a lot of review variability. Unfortunately the wires are too short and pull on the earbuds slightly (see picture comparing them to Swimbuds). After about 10-20 minutes of lap swimming water got deep inside and muffled all the sound. Even removing them and trying to get the water out did no good - it was way up inside the driver unit. I use a dab of vasaline which typically makes a great seal. With my swimbuds I only have trouble maybe once every 15-20 swims. Back they went unfortunately.”

“I have been using these during my daily swim sport, and they really help me, as listening to music breaks up the monotony. I have had other headphones for this purpose over the years and these are the best I've had. The seller is extremely responsive to any questions or concerns you may have with the product, and for that reason alone, it is a pleasure to do business with this person, and I would do it again, without hesitation. Highly recommended.”

“I have used waterproof earbuds for over five years now and I have tried several different brands. I use them about 4 times a week to swim for about forty mins at a time, including flip turns. Typically, a given pair has lasted a few months and I resigned myself to seeing them as somewhat disposable. These AGPTEK headphones have lasted me over a year. I was initially skeptical because of the coil. Once I worked out how to clip them to my goggles so they didn't pull on my ears, I was hooked. The short cord is fantastic.

The only problem is that the earbud covers have worn out and broken. I have used all of the ones I have from old headphones, and am now presently using the medium size (the small is perfect for me). This is not ideal. The overall quality and experience is worse. I tried to buy new covers through Amazon, but I am having trouble finding ones that are the right size, style, and not flimsy. I wish I could get them directly from AGPTEK. Any ideas are welcome.”

“These inexpensive waterproof air buds really surprised me. I didn’t think that the sound would be that good but I needed something to swim with quickly as my earbuds expired. First time l tried them was on a walk. The sound was outstanding and I was very pleased. The next test was to swim with them and hear how they sounded. So today I went in the water to try them out and swam for a half an hour. The sound was just as good as when I walked with them in fact, the sound is exceptionally good.”

“I purchased these as a replacement to the earphones that came with my waterproof mp3-player.

The sound quality is bad. Sound is "hollow" and barely cancels out ambient noise. If you turn up the volume, the sound become distorted.

It'll do for the price, but I wouldn't purchase them again.

Also, the original earphones come with an extremely short cord.

Impossible to use. So, they added an adapter/extension with what seems a 4-5 foot cable.

I sports at the pool every day and wear a long body shirt over my suit. I can't imagine having the cable dangle around while wearing a bikini.

It really feels like an afterthought. Instead of fixing the original issue (produce a pair of earphones with a decent length cable), they just added an adapter.”

“I have been using waterproof ipod shuffles swimming for years, and I only use these headphones. They are the best value out there for the price, fit great beneath a swim cap and stay put, and have great sound quality under water! They will periodically go bad, but it takes a really long time, and even the more expensive ones go bad that last just as long if not longer. They are also great forsports in general sweating.”

“I sure wish someone would make an earphone that lasted more than a few months. These sound fine, work underwater, but after a few months the connections start to short out and I'm constantly fiddling with them to keep them playing in both ears.

Added note, after reading my review here the company contacted me and offered another set, which I happily accepted. We'll see how long these last, but after years of experience with using waterproof earbuds, none of them last longer than a few months. Not any worse with this product than any other.”

“Bought these strictly for surfing and i have to say i am very happy I did. I got a waterproof case for my phone and now im jamming while throwing some tail off the back of the wave. They stay in good. Ive taken some hard hits and headphone never came out. The little clip near the bud of the head phone is also a great addition as it clips right to my wetsuit top to stay locked in Position 5 stars all day!”

“This product failed miserably and it’s quite a disappointment. I really liked everything about this set of earbuds from a design standpoint. They were by far better designed than any other pair I have purchased. The sound performance was awesome. The second time I put them in and turned on my iPod one of the buds had failed. They lasted one swim. Every pair of buds I have purchased has failed in this manner one or both of the buds looses sound quality and slowly fails away. Usually, they last more than one swim. To be clear I swim in a 4’6” pool 25 meter lane and yes I do flip turn but I seldom am more two feet under the water and when under water not for more than a few seconds at a time. No company I have found has made a set of buds that last in the water but this set was exceptionally disappointing.”

The real user review of Agptek waterproof headset that it is a good headset that can satisfy users. But it also has disadvantages, such as It does not support wireless and or the Bluetooth feature,so it is limited and inconvenient to use. And its in-ear design is uncomfortable to wear. If you expect to find a sports headphone that is more comfortable to wear, more functional and suitable for a variety of scenes, Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphone is an great substitute.

Wissonly's team has been researching headphone products that don't hurt the ear as early as 10 years ago and introduced bone conduction technology into the field of headphones. Their products have powerful performance, high-cost performance, and are very strong in core performances such as sound quality, sound leakage reduction, and waterproof level.

Hi Runner sports bone conduction headphones are open-eared and worn directly on the temples, so your ear canal is completely open, which makes it easy for you to hear the sound of cars and traffic lights outdoors in sports scenes such as running and walking, making you safer to use.

In terms of fit and comfort, the whole frame of Wissonly Hi Runner is made of adjustable aviation grade titanium steel, which can adapt to different sizes of head circumference and ensure the stability of wearing. Its earphone surface is made of high-tech low-sensitivity silicone material, which contains no chemical components to avoid allergic phenomena. The overall touch of the earphone is as silky as baby's skin, avoiding uncomfortable situations when worn for a long time. Moreover, its weight is very light, less than 30g, and it will not feel heavy when worn. After wearing it, I took it off at the end of the run. This Hi Runner didn't let me have any extra adjustment. As the flagship model of outdoor sports of Wissonly brand, it is the most comfortable and cost-effective one among all bone conduction at present.

When you sweat a lot when running or doing other sports, or when it suddenly rains when you run or exercise outdoors, then the waterproof performance of sports headphones is very important. As the flagship model of Wissonly, the waterproof grade of Wissonly Hi Runner Sports Bone Conductivity Headphone reaches IPX8 waterproof grade higher than the industry standard. It allows the wearer to work normally when swimming or diving, not to mention sweat prevention or ordinary waterproof.

It is also equipped with 32G body memory, which can store 5,000 songs, and supports Bluetooth and MP3 working modes. You can use it as a Bluetooth MP3 player for underwater sports or scenes without a mobile phone.

Hi Runner is the flagship product of Wissonly, and its overall function is also the most perfect. In terms of sound quality, this bone conduction earphone uses the latest research results of wissonly laboratory, which increases the vibration area of the vibrator by 35%. At the same time, it also optimizes the sound transmission direction to make the sound more concentrated and the music more spatial, and it has a good performance in both high and low notes.

Wissonly has made a lot of efforts to reduce its sound leakage. Its all-wrapped design reduces the vibration of the shell, and through structural optimization, the sound waves of the sound leakage are cancelled, thus avoiding 90% of the sound leakage. Wissonly Hi Runner's sound leakage performance is much better than that of the same gear bone conduction headphones on the market.
