“I use them mainly for when I go to the gym and the noise cancellation is great! I cannot hear when someone is talking to me so I can’t wear them everywhere because I won’t be aware of my surroundings lol
You just CANT wear these in the sauna though they get extremely hot but that’s obvious.
Other than that these are great headphones!!!”

“Buy these headphones! Whatever type of music you listen to will sound amazing and the noise cancellation feature will mute most outside noises. Side note: You can simply press a button if you'd like to hear the noises around you while you enjoy your music or take a call. These Bose headphones will let you hear every note the way it's supposed to sound whether you're listening to rap, r&b, techno, rock, classical, etc. The highs, the mids, and the bass all sound crisp and clear. I used these to listen to satellite radio and it sounded fantastic! You can hook these headphones up the traditional way (with the cord provided), or you can use Bluetooth if you prefer wireless. While in Bluetooth mode you can answer calls on your phone as well. Calls come in very clear and the noise cancellation worked great. I would highly recommend these headphones for anyone who wants to hear great music sounds and have crystal clear phone calls. These are top notch!”

“I switched from Apple Earbuds to these headphones due to cardio at the gym and I was having problems with earbuds falling out of my ear. The noise cancellation on this product is great with easier access to change “modes” on the left side of the headphone, sound quality and bass are great. The carrying case has the image of how to properly put them in the case which is helpful and the headphones are durable. Headphones are pricey, but as you say you get what you pay for, and this is definitely worth it.”

“I bought these thinking they'd be like other headphones with 3 settings: normal, ambient noise, and noise cancelling. But there is actually no "normal" setting. So the headphones are either ambient hear through or noise cancelling. I had to return because there are times I need normal and can't stand the ear-suction for long periods of time, or else I get a headache.
Secondly, I got "white smoke" but it was more like "orthopedic shoe grey" The box and photos online had a bit of a pinkish white hue and didn't match the product when unboxed. Ultimately I had to return these.”

“These headphones cost an arm and a leg but they sure weren’t kidding about the noise cancellation. Select quite mode, even at low music volumes almost 0 background noise can be heard. Switch it to aware mode to balance between background noise your music. They are quite comfortable but a little bulky for my liking. I use these are the gym and depending on the exercise, they seem to constantly slide off my head. The audio quality is crisp and very nice, and the battery life is fantastic. If you're willing to spill a few extra beans on a pair of solid headphones, these should do you justice.”

“Purchased to silence noise in gym and stream motivational music. Headset fits well including lying flat on back. Does a remarkable job of silencing ambient noise and "rap crap" played in the gym. This is my first noise cancelling product. I discovered that sharp percussive sounds like clanking of weights can be heard., though highly attenuated. Ongoing noise of fans, chatter etc. are remarkably silenced. Bluetooth connectivity is quick and reliable with my Android phone. Battery life is great. Sound is great and volume is easily adjustable from simple headset controls. Two modes are quite and aware. Practically speaking, you need nothing more than that. Recommended.”

“These are my go to headphones for traveling or going to the gym. I have the black version of it but honestly the other colors looks amazing as well. Noise cancellation is great i can really ignore my environment and focus on the music, but has a few issues. Occasionally my music would cut randomly before playing again. Not sure if it’s just me but it does get annoying”

“These things are incredible. Got them Wednesday morning, went to the gym and 15 minutes into my stretch I think, the fire alarm went off, I was told I was in there for about 10 minutes after it started LOL. I would’ve died had there been an actual fire in there. The only reason I noticed was because I had seen the lights flashing. How rude of people to not warn me lol. Worth every single penny in my strong opinion.”

“I have only reviewed a couple of items on the Internet, ever. I have had these headphones for almost 4 years now. They are just as good as they were 4 years ago.
The cups go over the ears and work well with glasses on; my glasses don’t get pressed hard against my head.
I work on a computer all day and then go to the gym, so I have these headphones on for a long time every day. They stay comfortable all day and have a very long battery life with quick charging.
Sound quality is very good. Noise cancelling very good. The Bose CONNECT app is also very good. I really have no complaints.
Yes, these are expensive headphones, but absolutely worth the investment.”

“I've had Bose noise cancelling headphones for over 15years. The first iterations were truly groundbreaking, with nothing even close to comparison. Companies have since lessened the gap.
I purchased Sony WMX3 a few years ago. As noise cancelling is my primary desire (I travel on planes and in noisy areas), those headphones have provided superior noise cancelling to my prior Bose 25. However is not comfortable for long travel - something about the earcups. I was thrilled when I heard Bose came out with the 45.
In short - I've been disappointed. The noise cancelling in Bose 45 is WORSE that the two year old Sony. It is definitely more comfortable but considering that I paid $450 for these and the Sony retails for $300, it is definitely not worth the money.
I'm not going to return it as for long periods (2 hours) the Sony's are uncomfortable and these are not, but if you're looking at buying this for sound quality, transit rides or here and there jaunts, go with something else.
If you require these for long listening periods, and want to get these realize that 1- It's noise cancelling features are not much better that the 25 (yes the 25) and 2- it's currently vastly overpriced at $450. Maybe $300 but not $450.”
According to the user review of Bose QC 45 headphones, it is a good product that can satisfy users. But at the same time, it also has some problems: overpriced, its heavy earmuffs can easily cause discomfort to the ears and head. And it is easy to be sultry and sweaty in summer, which is something to pay attention to for this headphone without waterproof performance.
If you want to find a headphone in the market that is more cost-effective, comfortable to wear and has a excellent waterproof performance, Wissonly Hi Runner Bone Conduction Headphone is a good and affordable substitute.
Why I recommend it?
First: Hi Runner sports bone conduction headphones are open-ear design, directly worn on the temple, so your ear canal is completely open, which makes you outdoors in running, walking and other sports scenes, it is easy to hear the sound of cars and traffic lights, so that you are safer when using. Traditional in-ear sports headphones can easily upset your ears, and this one doesn't have that problem at all because it doesn't need to be tucked into your ear and is more hygienic.
Second: When you sweat a lot when running or doing other sports, or when it suddenly rains when you run or exercise outdoors, then the waterproof performance of sports headphones is very important. As the flagship model of Wissonly, the waterproof grade of Wissonly Hi Runner Sports Bone Conductivity Headphone reaches IPX8 waterproof grade higher than the industry standard. It allows the wearer to work normally when swimming or diving, not to mention sweat prevention or ordinary waterproof. If you are a swimmer, then this earphone is more worthy of your consideration. It is also equipped with 32G built-in storage, which can store 5000 songs, and supports two working modes of Bluetooth and MP3. In the scene of underwater sports or without a mobile phone, you can completely use it as a Bluetooth MP3 player. This is really too convenient!
Third: One of the most important standards of sports headphones is to be comfortable to wear, so as to improve sports efficiency and have a good sports experience. The overall frame of Wissonly Hi Runner is made of adjustable aviation-grade titanium steel, which can adapt to different sizes of head circumference and ensure the stability of wearing, so that it will not fall during exercise. The surface of its earphones is made of high-tech low-sensitivity silicone material, which does not contain chemical ingredients to avoid allergies. The overall touch of the earphones is as silky as a baby's skin, avoiding discomfort when worn for a long time. And its weight is very light, less than 30g, so it will not feel heavy when worn. As the flagship outdoor sports model of the Wissonly brand, it is the most comfortable and cost-effective model among all the current bone conduction models.
Fourth: Because Hi Runner is a wireless bone conduction exercise headphone that needs to be recharged, you may be worried that its continuous playback time is not long enough. But in fact, it has a strong endurance and can support 10 hours of continuous music playback, which makes up for the shortcoming that wireless headphones need to be charged. It is equipped with 32G body memory, as well as the latest Bluetooth 5.0. Its product performance and experience have been comprehensively improved, truly making bone conduction headphones suitable for more life scenarios.
