“Looks: The matte black with red gives it a superior finish and feel. LED indicator on the collar is an added advantage

Comfort: I wore it for 1.5 hours straight during my workout session with no issues

Sound: Slight bass accentuation makes it perfect for EDM music, Rock and vocals sound crisp but muffled on the mids, and sound is not the best especially compared to my Audio Technica M50x, but for the price it's perfect. Also the passive noise isolation is pretty amazing

Pairing: Is fairly simple and I had no trouble connecting with my iPhone 5S, MacBook Air. Range is not the best but good enough if the connected device is in the same room/pocket

Bottom line: It's the perfect headset for me, especially for the price”

“Purchased the wireless earbuds skull candy, which kept falling out when I worked out and also weren’t loud enough and were higher priced but they do not match the quality of these!! They don’t say they’re sweat proof but they work fine when I workout so that is a plus!!

I bought these before but I gave mine to my little brother and he loves his :) ,, also his still work after 4 years”

“Almost perfect... although the sound is what I needed most for this product, I have this on the wired version and it sounded very good . The neckband is awful coz it kept failing off behind my neck and it irritates the heck out of me, it’s like an extra weight for the neck band and you have to tuck it in behind your shirt for it not to fall off. Even with the extra plastic piece taken off it still falling off due to the battery casing weight which would have been to the front acting as a balancer . The sound is what I bought it for, but overall it “ fell “ short due to design flaw . The Ink’d Bluetooth is way better design, thinking of going back to wired earphones coz it does sounded way better especially when you’re listening to HiRes audio of which a lot of audiophiles’ recommended .”

“I bought this around one year ago and still it works as good as new one.

It’s amazing experience listening music with this skullcandy earphone.

Moreover, it looks so dashing when I wear it on my neck. It looks cool.

Worth to buy it.”

“I was at the store looking at several high ends Bluetooth headsets for my iPhone 7 plus and decided to go with the skull candy since I've ofthem used their wired headsets and have amazing vibrant sounds, these are no different the battery is borderline amazing I literally charge them once and awhile simply because I'm in fear they will die during a workout and they have never died on me. The setup sound and bass are all excellent for a Bluetooth headset at this price range. I bought them as a temporary pair and they have turned into the pack leader and my go to headphones for everything, even calls”

“I bought these primarily for workouts. I didn't want to spend a lot and wanted something minimal and wireless for the gym. No problems with comfort or needing to readjust. I was surprised by the sound quality, also. I expected these to be comparable to a standard plug in set you might get with your phone but these are way better than that. Very happy with the value.”

“As a big guy it was nice to find bluetooth headphones that rest on the neck that don't feel bulky AND a little small with that awkward and work good for the gym except occasionally sliding off a little during a couple of shoulder workouts and laying on a flat bench for bench pressing. The sound is good, nice punchy bass, and easy to "conceal" inside a shirt.

And it's nice that they come already charged fully since I picked these up on the way to the gym. So,I had a chance to test them out immediately.”

“I love these headphones because:

**there's no cord to get caught on various things I pass

**the sound is great quality (most of the time)

**They keep their charge for almost a week full of workouts.

These same headphones make me want to scream because:

**They have recently started falling out of my ears while laying on bench to lift dumbbells.

**Every once in a while, the playback has static or is a bit choppy. It happens enough to notice, but usually goes away. I have yet to figure out why, which is the most frustrating part.

Those 2 cons are not enough for me to stop using them! In fact, I won't return to corded headphones any time soon. These are great headphones at a wonderful price point.”

“I have given the Smokin Buds a workout. I have owned them for a full summer season of use and offer these words:

Yes they are worth the money. These are not Beats or Bose or even Jaybirds so don't think you are getting that level of sound and depth.

They do connect easily to my Samsung or iPad so that is a plus and don't cut out like cheap knockoffs that when your phone is in your pocket it cuts out.

They last a long time. I have never had them run out of battery while using them. Whether on the job or on the tractor mowing the lawn.

They stay in the ear well even when sweating.

Phone worked well when placing calls. People could hear me well.

A little heavier than I like but they are wireless and need a battery so I guess I can't complain too much.”

User:Daniel Anderson Nation:United States

“Good sound quality, earbuds had nice fitment, but the collar thing would constantly slide off my neck and down my back, tugging the earbuds out of my ears in the middle of a workout. Didn't matter what I was doing, this would happen every few minutes, and would drive me nuts. I even experienced this once while attempting to do household chores. These may work for others, and are of seemingly solid quality, but the aggravation of having them being tugged out of my ears all the time was unacceptable...”

On the whole, Skullcandy Smokin' Buds 2 is a good earbud for workout, and its cost performance and all aspects of performance can satisfy users. Its only disadvantage is that its function is not powerful enough, such as low waterproof level, short battery life. Its in-ear design is easy to make the ears uncomfortable after wearing for a long time, and some users say that the headphones will slip from the back of the neck during workout, so it needs constant adjustment. There are many more powerful, comfortable and stable workout headphones on the market, such as Wissonly Hi Runner, which is a good substitute.
