“I ordered these headphones to replace a pair of Bose Soundsports that I never really loved (got as a gift), and had begun wearing out physically (becoming unglued).

First I’ll say I’ve always loved the sound profile of JBL (have some of their speakers), so I assumed sound quality/profile of these would be up my alley and I was definitely right. While these don’t have the bass of my JBL speaker they do have more than the Bose.

Second, these are actually in-ear, which I love. During my running I didn’t have any slipping or falling out issues other reviewers mentioned, either, so it might just depend on your ear size.

Third, the addition of noise canceling (which I haven’t truly tested in a louder environment yet) is definitely going to be great for the gym.

The only negative (hence 4 stars) I have is you can’t use the tap commands to adjust the volume, which did already start to bug me. But, I have a smart watch so I just need to retrain my brain to reach for that instead of a headphone cord.

All in all very happy with my purchase and looking forward to getting a lot of use out of these!”

“Nice fit and no problem running or the working out at the gym. Good sound and app that shows battery life, has eq adjustments, checks for optimal fit, and gesture changes. earbuds magnetically snap into case however i have to rotate the wing tips to the bottom of the case to make sure they charge. Not a big issue once ya know how.”

“I bought these to replace my Bose Soundsports (the wired together kind) which stopped working and also fell out of my ears when I got really sweaty.

I use these on my exercise bike almost every day and I have had zero problems with them — they stay in snugly no matter how sweaty my workout gets. The sound is good for what I needed — I’d say my Bose ones sounded slightly better at first but I don’t notice any difference anymore. No issues with Bluetooth connections to my iphone or ipad. Good sport headphones!

UPDATE: Still really like these — one small issue is getting the headphones to turn off/charge in the case — sometimes I have to jiggle them around and I wish they were auto off once out of ears. But for the price I still think they’re a good value”

“I work in an animal day care so as you can imagine very active at work. I have The jbl tune 100s and jbltune125s also. Sounds been great but those are both bulky and fall out or loosen in the ear canal. Also, neither of those are waterproof.

Got these despite the reviews and I’m glad I did. Off today so I set them up, mowed the lawn, played with my dogs and then walked into the shower with no interruptions or fall outs. Perfect! Even headbanged! Lol”

“Style: HeadphonesColor: BlackVerified Purchase

I’ve been using JBL over-the-ear headphones for a while now. Most recently, the JBL Endurance Peak I, and before that the JBL Endurance Sprint. In general, they have great sound, and have generally worked pretty well over the years.

These are the first ear-bud style wireless headphones I’ve used (from JBL or elsewhere). At first, I was very impressed. The noise canceling is really pretty impressive, and the sound is amazing. My first clue that something was wrong was when I wore them during lunch, and they started to fall out of my ear as I chewed.

I experimented with different fin and earbud sizes. The lack of a manual made this a bit frustrating. The quick start guide shows that you insert the buds and rotate them forward to lock them in place. It doesn’t show how the fins are supposed to fit in your ear at all. Anyway, I just tried all the sizes. With all of them, if I look downward and shake my head (gently), after about 10 seconds they fall out.

Unsurprisingly, when I took them running, they fell out every 100m or so. Fortunately I was usually able to catch them. So, if you are looking for an excuse to take a break on your runs, these headphones for you. Mine are going back to Amazon.”

“I personally found that the touch controls were overly sensitive for headphones that are waterproof rated. They are touch, not a button so any drop of sweat or water that hits the touch pad pauses your music or changes the song. And then they don’t react to your actual finger if your hands are sweaty. It’s very frustrating for them to not be buttons. The app doesn’t allow for customization of the touch features beyond having them on or off basically, as in I can’t choose for a single touch to not do anything which might at least help the issue. The sound is great but I found them super frustrating to actually use for anything besides sitting at my desk. Again, personal preference obviously but I would have found this useful to know when I was shopping.”

“I want to love these, and there’s a lot to love, but unfortunately I’m still disappointed with this buy.

They have pretty good sound quality for the little things they are, and the mics are incredible. even when a big garbage truck rolls by, the people on the other end of the line can always hear me great. My issue though is with the thing wireless earbuds really need to have, a sure fit in your ear. They come with a range of swappable parts to help them fit in your ear, but sadly even the combination that fits best in my ear leaves me scrambling to catch them when they pop out due to a strong breeze, or I’m running, or my dog lunges for a stick and takes me with them.

Basically, I have to stay on guard whenever I have them in against them popping out of my ears. Great product otherwise. Just wish I could have figured this out in time to return them.”

“I really wanted to like these. I bought them for running and working out, so a good fit is important. Unfortunately the body of these earbuds is sized so large that it’s hard to find a fit that is both comfortable and secure. No matter what sized tip/wing combo I tried, they fall out. If they don’t fall out, the sound quality is too quiet.

The real straw that broke the camel’s back is that the sweatier one gets, the more likely they are to fall out.

Final verdict: not a good option for running or getting sweaty. Unfortunately they also only charge intermittently. Not ready for prime time, these.”

“I’m relatively new to bluetooth earbuds so there was definitely a bit of a learning curve for me with these. First, they look awesome! They have a nice feel to them although I have not been able to get them to fit according to the JBL app. I changed everything I could and the app continued to tell me it was a bad fit. I finally gave up although it drove me crazy to do so. Nevertheless, they feel good in my ear and they sound incredible. I like the ability to switch it up to hear sounds around me or complete noise cancellation. The case is sleek and I’ve used these a few days in a row now and they have stayed charged in the 90% while the case has only dropped to about 65%. I believe it arrived with around 70%. Overall, I’m so very happy with these and look forward to making them a new part of my day.”

“Pros: great sound, supportive app

Cons: uncomfortable for long periods of use, doesn’t get very loud.

The main cons: one reason I had to return this item was that it would not fully charge, neither the ear buds themselves or the charging case would ever get to a 100% charge after hours of charging. The second reason was that the earbuds would often not disconnect or reconnnect to my phone when I placed them into or pulled them from the charging case, I would take them out of my ears and put them in the case then get a call and was unable to hear the person only to realize the sound was coming from the earbuds in the charging case! I would end up having to go to the Bluetooth settings in my phone to disconnect them. Very frustrating and a waste of time.”

The above is the real user review of Jbl reflect aero tws, which shows that it is a good earbuds. However, it still has some problems, such as overpriced, uncomfortable and unstable to wear and easy to fall off during running or other sports. If you expect to find headphones that are more comfortable, stable and practical in the market, Wissonly Hi Runner bone conduction headphone is worth your consideration.

Wissonly’s team has been researching headphone products that don’t hurt the ear as early as 10 years ago and introduced bone conduction technology into the field of headphones. Their products have powerful performance, high-cost performance, and are very strong in core performances such as sound quality, sound leakage reduction, and waterproof level.

Hi Runner sports bone conduction headphones are open-eared and worn directly on the temples, so your ear canal is completely open, which makes it easy for you to hear the sound of cars and traffic lights outdoors in sports scenes such as running and walking, making you safer to use.

In terms of fit and comfort, the whole frame of Wissonly Hi Runner is made of adjustable aviation grade titanium steel, which can adapt to different sizes of head circumference and ensure the stability of wearing. Its earphone surface is made of high-tech low-sensitivity silicone material, which contains no chemical components to avoid allergic phenomena. The overall touch of the earphone is as silky as baby’s skin, avoiding uncomfortable situations when worn for a long time.

Moreover, its weight is very light, less than 30g, and it will not feel heavy when worn. After wearing it, I took it off at the end of the run. This Hi Runner didn’t let me have any extra adjustment. As the flagship model of outdoor sports of Wissonly brand, it is the most comfortable and cost-effective one among all bone conduction at present.

When you sweat a lot when running or doing other sports, or when it suddenly rains when you run or exercise outdoors, then the waterproof performance of sports headphones is very important. As the flagship model of Wissonly, the waterproof grade of Wissonly Hi Runner Sports Bone Conductivity Headphone reaches IPX8 waterproof grade higher than the industry standard. It allows the wearer to work normally when swimming or diving, not to mention sweat prevention or ordinary waterproof.

It is also equipped with 32G body memory, which can store 5,000 songs, and supports Bluetooth and MP3 working modes. You can use it as a Bluetooth MP3 player for underwater sports or scenes without a mobile phone.

Hi Runner is the flagship product of Wissonly, and its overall function is also the most perfect. In terms of sound quality, this bone conduction earphone uses the latest research results of wissonly laboratory, which increases the vibration area of the vibrator by 35%. At the same time, it also optimizes the sound transmission direction to make the sound more concentrated and the music more spatial, and it has a good performance in both high and low notes.

Wissonly has made a lot of efforts to reduce its sound leakage. Its all-wrapped design reduces the vibration of the shell, and through structural optimization, the sound waves of the sound leakage are cancelled, thus avoiding 90% of the sound leakage. Wissonly Hi Runner’s sound leakage performance is much better than that of the same gear bone conduction headphones on the market.
