“Update: Amazon accepted a return of this product after it broke 3 months into its use. For this customer service, I am upgrading the rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

The headphones’ extension mechanism broke while lifting them off my head. This was disappointing, but you’d expect Apple will easily repair or replace these, right? Wrong. The repair went off to some third-party called Ingram Micro, who got back to me, saying:

“One of our engineers has assessed your device and found a damage to the ear extension, a fault that is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. We are still able to repair the device at a cost of £124.12.” For a device that costs £70 to buy brand new. Extremely disappointed. Will never buy Beats again.”

“It’s not the type of product I usually buy because I always try to avoid big, advertised brands, such as Beats and more so now that it belongs to Apple. But I decided to take a risk for the design and the materials, and it wasn’t a mistake.

In terms of design, materials, construction and insulation, they are great. Very sober, the pads are very comfortable, everything is very careful, with great attention to detail, including in the packaging and presentation of the product.
